Nothing I'd ever call bad though. I think the b-sides on 'Irish Blood, English Heart' were more to my liking than the aforementioned three.

It's basically Les doing everything but guitar, which is mostly Todd Huth. It's about on par with Purple Onion overall, but the good stuff is better and the bad stuff is worse. Les Claypool - Purple Onion. I can't really decide whether I like this on the whole. There's some great stuff in there, but some of the lyrics are painfully auto-pilot for him and just kill the songs.

You must go to a pretty hip karaoke bar. But yeah. If I'm driving alone and at night--alone and at night is a great combination for this band--I love to sing along. And it's impossible not sing along without trying to imitate Staples' baritone croon. It's usually a spontanious rendition of 'Tiny Tears' in a crowded bar by me and about 5 other shitfaced indie twats. We can't quite do the instrumental bit justice yet, but we're working on it.

Surely no discussion threads in this folder or any other, for that matter, can be objective. But yeah.
