At the end of HHH/Austin 2/3 falls, when both guys are laying there, selling like death. Some fan clocks Austin right in the head with what looks to be a beer can, and Austin rolls over to grab his head...even though he's supposed to be selling like death. I thought it was funny.

But, in kayfabe, in makes less sense that he'd be all like "Oh, I have THAT many world titles?" His character is obsessed with that title. You'd think that, in kayfabe terms, he WOULD have the dates of his title reigns framed on his walls or whatever.

I dunno man. When that other dude said metal was gay, Halford was the first name that popped into my mind. Not that he's a bad singer or nothing, but...you know.

For the record, yes they can. What do you think mules are?

Demonstrate some of these. I'm aware that the Bible never actually mentions things like confessions and a few other Catholic beliefs, but I'm curious as to what the other "demonstratably false" aspects are.

Yeah, but there's a slight difference between using a swastika as it was originally intended, and using it (quite obviously) in the Nazi sense. Iron crosses and eagles?

You mean "Gone Away"?

The real question: Why should we care who gets the shot? Honestly, if it isn't worked, then I really don't think there's ANY chance that the WWE is gonna put the belt on someone who the fans just voted for out of the blue.

Explain drunken boxing. Is it really just making yourself look drunk while boxing, thus giving you the edge since the other guy thinks you're drunk when you're really not?

South Park inspired me to post this question

I was around 8...I'm really not sure, to be honest. I don't even remember ever being told...though the fact that I found my Christmas gift under my parent's bed kinda tipped me off. I do recall being sternly warned not to tell my younger sister, though. -
How many times have you watched Wayne's World?
The Metal Maniac replied to The Czech Republic's topic in General Chat
I think that tends to happen to a lot of people - they watch the movie when they're young, and think it's funny. Then, years later, they watch it and actually GET the jokes. Then they think it's funnier. I almost lost it the first time I got "Uh, excuse me, I believe I ordered the hand job." -
See, this is why it's always easier to just download a Firepro ROM and try it that way, as opposed to spending cash for it.

Did you ever find Bugs Bunny attractive when he'd put on the dress and play a girl bunny? We fear change. *WHAMWHAMWHAMWHAMWHAMWHAM* -
I was actually discussing this last night with some idiot. When he was unable to explain what DID hit the Pentagon, or where the 757 went, it became quite clear this is less of a conspiracy theory then it is a "hey, let's just claim crazy stuff happened to make the US look bad!" Also, as to the "no debris" bit...I dunno about you, but I'd wager that if a plane crashed into a building, the building would COLLAPSE ON IT, thus hiding the plane wreckage under the building wreckage.
-
I may be thinking of the same bit you are, but I seem to recall Kanyon once getting out of his car at a toll booth to give the guy in the booth the Kanyon Cutter. I could be wrong though...I didn't watch much WCW at that point.

Here's how they could do it: During one important match when Kidman is hesitating, London just loses it. Kidman comes down, London shoves him and is all "what the fuck is wrong with you? Like this, you jackass!" then London does the move. London gets up and is all "see, it's NOT that hard", then Kidman just goes RABID and beats the piss out of him, yelling stuff like "I'll teach you to upstage me, you prick!" Then build the angle around Kidman being a prima donna who doesn't want anyone else to hit it (because it's HIS move) and being pissed at London, who Kidman could claim he got this far, for upstaging him.
-
I'm curious...did that piss anyone else off, or just you?

Bah. Welcome to my world.

Bzzz. Wrong. Synths. Period. I know you didn't ask me, but again: Bzzzz. Wrong. Number Of The Beast has a spoken-word intro, Run To The Hills has a drum intro, and The Clairvoyant has a bass intro. Do all of the songs share a common sound anyway though? Of course they do, because they were written by the same 3 friggin' guys. Is it somewhat formulaic? Yes. But then again, so is all music. I mean, they're a metal band: how many metal bands DON'T normally start songs with guitar intros and have solos that some people can't distinguish between?

TAKA landing on his jaw during Royal Rumble 2000. It was made extra-funny by the fact that Lawler DEMANDED an instant reply like, every 2 minutes thereafter, no matter what. There'd be all this crazy stuff going on in the ring, and Lawler's like "Let's see TAKA die again! That was great!" Also, during the same rumble, Chyna tossed out someone, but ended up on the ring apron (over the top) as a result. She stopped for a minute, then the Big Bossman elbowed her in the back of the head and knocked her out. It was just the way the Bossman did it, so casual-like.

The real question, as far as I'm concerned, is not how he lacks the ability to tell the difference between the albums, but why he refers to it as the Dickinson formula. Steve Harris has ALWAYS written the bulk of Maiden's material. Thus, if all the albums with Dickinson on them are so formulaic that you can't tell them apart (and I'm sorry, if you honestly can't tell the difference between Fear of the Dark and Piece of Mind, then you need to be slapped) then the same should hold true with the rest, because it's the same guy writing the music.

It looks like people just give them user names/passwords of their own free will. I tried a few sites that didn't work, but it prompted me to sign up for that site, then come back and enter the newly created name/password. I think that's how it works, but I could be wrong...

Jurassic Park 4 - A review of the screenplay.

That almost sounds kinda neat, if they hadn't ORIGINALLY designed the dinosaurs to be unable to breed on their own. This does seem to have some neat ideas in it, though I think they'd be better off to just send in the fucking army to waste all the dinosaurs and just have THAT be the movie.
