Well, Kate ended up with a gun anyway, so why not just give her the 4th? And we don't really know that Hurley or Micheal can't fire a gun. For all we (or they) know, Hurley is a deadeye. I dunno, it just seemed silly to give a gun to the guy who everybody hates, and nobody trusts.

Ok, I know that they had to get Ethan and all but...why did they give SAWYER a gun? Seriously; he's the only one on the island that EVERYBODY hates, and they've had to beat/torture stuff out of him on more then one occasion. Capable or not, I wouldn't even consider putting a loaded weapon in the hands of a guy like that. They couldn't find one other person who knew how to use a gun?

I was at a SD taping during the whole Mr. America angle. JESUS CHRIST. I've never seen anyone get a reaction like that, anywhere, ever. Well, at least not in person. I don't even LIKE Hogan that much, and I was going nuts along with everyone else in the place. Just insane.

So, how does it work? Do you just start as a nobody, then gain abilities like you would in a normal RPG? And do you know how far advanced your character can get? Like, would it be possible to have a character that flies?

It's funny, because at the Wal-Mart I work at, they gave us all papers about how terrible the union was, and how it was so awful that they didn't get a ballot, etc... Totally ignoring the fact that they got a union BECAUSE a large enough portion of the workers applied for it; vote or not, they obviously wanted it. It's so absurd how they can say that unions are bad, but they're not AGAINST unions, they're just BAD. Fucking WalSquigglyMart.

Man, they've almost ALWAYS done that. The only difference is, the stories used to make sense the whole time, and they went from point A to point B and stopped. Nowadays, they go from A to B to C to D to E to F and stop making sense somewhere around C.

No it's not. They're not the exact same, but they are similar in a number of ways, not the least of which is the fact that both families are constructed in such a similar way. I mean, really, they could have tried for some variety, but it doesn't seem like they did. It really seems to me that, as others have said, he wanted to make FG2, but then they brought back FG. I'd like for the show to become good, but I don't see it just yet.

Both shows feature a talking pet who has a thing for the wife, a son who's a dork, and a daughter who doesn't fit in with the family. The father isn't as dumb as Peter and the wife didn't seem to do much, but if you're gonna use the same style for animation AND humour, the least you could do is try to make very different characters.
