  1. The backing track is great. Everything Stefani sings is, of course, useless jibba-jabba, but the arrangement itself is remarkable.
  2. Hey, that was great. I haven't seen season 2, and now I've seen four of the episodes. Another 4-episode block next Friday.
  3. All this indignity is embarrassing, guys.
  4. Weird song. Good though. Hey, I copied that Left of the Dial comp from my school's music library. Pretty cool altogether.
  5. Rushmore is my favorite, but I've been meaning to see The Life Aquatic again. I loved a good amount of it, but overall it left me a little flat. Jeff Goldblum was on fire. Banky's right, though; the soundtrack's gorgeous. Of course, when you're basing half of it on Bowie, tough to fuck up.
  6. Wait wait, half the show's in London? If someone puts Edwin at a cart selling bangers-and-mash-in-a-box and Newcastle, they'll win my heart for all time.
  7. I should have given myself a bandolier.
  8. Did you run the formatter on the iPod software disc? If that doesn't do it, go to ilounge.com. I'm sure you can find an answer there quite easily.
  9. It's gonna be all right.
  10. I saw Billy fuckin' Idol for $10 in the middle of a field outside Richmond, Virginia about two years ago. Hilarious.
  11. I prefer brunettes, and Bardot's always seemed like a bit of a hussy to me. Karina & Seberg win.
  12. Yeah, I don't like that album as much as I used to, but it's still pretty cool. Zooropa's cool too, to follow on Coat's post. The first half of that--and the Johnny Cash guest appearance at the end--are U2 not sounding much like U2, which is pretty appealing.
  13. Sorry, Bob. Your adult-contemporary stylings mean that you just have to die.
  14. She looks like Julianne Moore will in 20 years. I'll be happy to do her then, too.
  15. So, in conclusion, fuck you Matt. Don't come back to the Pit, ever. If you see me online, don't talk to me. I don't even want to know you exist. I used to consider you a friend, but you're dead to me now.
  16. Back then hoez didn't want me
  17. Candy paint drippin woodgrain I'm grippin
  18. He was at the Christmas dinner where we first saw Lupin this time around, wasn't he? Too insular on the three kids and Dumbledore this time.
  19. I was watching In the Bedroom. Good fucking movie. Depressing as hell. Not as depressing as this. Ho ho!
  20. I love it. Some of the best stuff Joss has done.
  21. Actually, thinking a little harder, it was probably the Kinks. In that case, it still is. Also, C-Bacon, jesus christ if you buy a Coldplay album before you get Revolver and Abbey Road I'll shoot you in the knees.
  22. Yeah, the nice thing is that even the relatively small fanbase should push it close to that.
  23. I still think it's going to bomb, but I'm also tremendously excited to see it.
  24. That's because it's not a very good book. You're not missing much; Stoker had good ideas but he was a hack novelist.
