  1. I, personally, don't think they'd do another season if they thought the gimmick wasn't going to last much longer. Judging from the commentary on the Season 2 DVDs, it really seems like they want to put out a high quality product and they'd pull the plug before going to the well one too many times. That being said, I'm HYPED~! about the season being two weeks away, and I'm still a bit skeptical about whether or not Palmer is really alive. After all, they pulled a trick last year with showing the alternate ending to the extras as a diversion for the internet crowd.
  2. How does a guy who skips out on service in a war (for example, Bush) get more cred for "patriotism" than a guy who served his country and lost limbs for it? You would be completely irate if anyone questioned Bush's patriotism based on his 'Nam non-service, but you think questioning Cleland's patriotism is fine?
  3. http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/meast/10/16/...main/index.html Excellent, excellent news. Hopefully, we can start bringing some of our troops home.
  4. Faneca makes a lot of DLs look like tools, but I do agree that Sapp's best days are behind him... Touche.
  5. Basically, IIRC, the Cleland loss was due to terrible voter turnout. There's no way the voters should've let Chambliss get away with bashing a 'Nam war vet as "unpatriotic" or some shit, and it still baffles me that he lost.
  6. Someone compared Sapp to Jeremy Shockey earlier on in this thread, and I'd have to say that's a dead-on comparison. If you actually key in on Sapp against any competent O-line -- say, Pittsburgh's last year against him -- he gets blown the fuck up throughout the game. Alan Faneca made him look like a tool throughout that entire game, and I'm absolutely positive that other people have done it to the tub-o-lard. Sapp gets camera time because he's a loudmouth, that's it; if he actually backed it up on the field, I'd care more about what he says.
  7. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/...in/MS03-045.asp They seem to have found four more important issues that could lead to remote code execution. Thankfully, the three I had to download weren't too big.
  8. Wow, I have to say that I've never even thought of that argument and it's a damned good one. Kudos.
  9. ...wow, pot meet kettle, eh?
  10. And so was the Flesher! YAY!
  11. Hopefully you'll slit your wrists when I tell you that I'm on my way. Anyway, out of particular interest is the fact that Scalia has recused himself from the case.
  12. Wow, he passed a gay rights bill? Good for him, even though it's a bit late.
  13. Well, I suppose if you COULD disprove any of it, you would --- but since you can't, you'll just carp from the sidelines. -=Mike I'm more on the side of "I didn't read the thread and I don't particularly give a damn about California" actually.
  14. Where does it say that? It says they were given a form letter and signed it.
  15. Pot, meet Kettle... And whose opinion do I hold on the highest of high?
  16. This isn't the 9th court, this is the SCOTUS. It was expected that they'd hear this; we've been talking about it in Con Law the entire semester. I would bet it goes, but that's just a hunch based on the other more progressive rulings we've seen lately.
  17. Yessir. It appears from exit polling that I've recieved either a B or an A on every one of them. And studying is a bitch.
  18. Guys, you're forgetting the fact that no matter what he says, Mike (and, by extension, Rush Limbaugh) is always right.
  19. Jesus, I'll fucking SEND you my English 101 papers.
  20. I think it was vodka and orange juice, but to tell you the truth, I really don't remember. Been a loooong midterms week.
  21. Not usually, but... WTF. It's an odd feeling to wake up and read the boards and see that you posted something as stupid as that.
  22. WTF DID I POST LAST NIGHT?!?
