I would be beyond happy if Zelda, Warioware, and the tennis title were available at launch in addition to the Smash Brothers game Nintendo promised.
-
I suppose, but the coaching staff already knew that a starter was needed for the next day. I'm sure Fortunato, Bradford, Feliciano, and Wagner could have combined for 7 2/3 innings without stretching any of them that far.

5 IP, 7 H, 5 ER, 4 BB, 5 K for Lima as his day is done. Pretty much what I expected. And this was a better option than letting Heilman or Oliver start why?

I know I've harped on this before, but GOD DAMN was that Benson/Julio trade stupid.
-
Beamer = BMW. I'm guessing the guy plodded across the hood of the car or something like that.

If I'm the Suns, I take Steve Nash out right now and don't let him back in unless the Lakers go on a miraculous run.

http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/new...t=.jsp&c_id=nym It appears Zambrano's injury is pretty serious. Even with Bannister coming back soon, Victor's injury opens a big hole in the rotation, which, judging by the tone of that article, might be filled by Jose Lima for the forseeable future. *slaps forehead* On a more positive note, I went to the Clippers/Tides game tonight too, only to get thrown out after a couple innings when the usher discovered I used a ticket for last night's game to get in. Managed to get Jeff Keppinger's signature before that, though, which I'm pretty happy about.

WLW is a 50,000 watt monster of an AM station, so you can probably hear them over a good portion of the midwest and eastern states at night. Here's their predicted signal path, which is probably rather conservative (at night at least): http://www.radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?c...tatus=L&hours=U Those paths are definitely somewhat conservative, as the radius for 660 out of New York ends somewhere near Williamsport, PA according to that site. At night and in certain cars, it comes in pretty clear way out here in Central Ohio.

That Benson trade is looking worse every day.

While waiting for his flight, my dad called me up and told me he saw Jose Lima boarding a plane headed to New York. That, combined with the news that John Maine is suffering from inflammation in his pitching hand, means that Lima is most likely starting for the Mets on Sunday. This is somewhat disconcerting to say the least.

Terrific victory for the Mets. I only saw the 11th-14th innings, so I can only imagine how great a game it really was. Speaking of which, being at the Tides game caused me to miss the first ten innings, but it was worth it because I got to see Lastings Milledge win the game with a home run in the top of the ninth. Just a fantastic night of baseball for me.

Goin' to the Norfolk Tides vs. Columbus Clippers game tonight. I'm pretty excited, as it'll be my first time seeing Lastings Milledge and Jeff Keppinger in action. Hopefully, the experience will be worth the trip to the run-down stadium, whose only attendance these days seems to consist of annoying goobers.

I've wanted this game ever since I saw the G4's preview on it at the last E3. The constant delays are annoying (especially considering that I pre-ordered it some time ago and had expected Capcom to stick to their initial release date of the day after KHII), but if any games looks to be worth it, this is the one. The art style developed for Viewtiful Joe is obviously being used to its full potential for Okami, as it's one of the prettiest games I've seen in quite some time.
-
This is alllll Wii for me. The only non-Nintendo stuff I'm interested in going into this is Okami and Disgaea II.

Well, this inning might help alleviate said frustrations. Four runs scored, three of which came from a Xavier Nady home run. Man he's been good. Also, Wright seems to be breaking out of his slump, as he has three hits on the evening thus far.

Chain of Memories is pretty good, even if it's basically a handheld version of the first Kingdom Hearts. Don't know why they felt the need to handcuff the combat with the whole card system, though. Also, I enjoy how Sora and Donald explained away the lazy programming in Atlantica. "It looks like we're on the bottom of the sea!" "How come we can breathe?" "Maybe someone cast a spell on us!"

Nice, thanks Al. Also, I forgot to mention that, in what surely must be a sign of the End of Days, Endy Chavez got on base five times tonight, with two doubles, a run and a RBI to boot. Don't know where the hell that came from.
-
Delgado saves the day with a walk-off, opposite field home run, his eleventh of the year. Great game. Hey Al, a question if I may...the Mets game tonight, Roberto Hernandez squared off against Julio Franco. The combined age of that matchup is 88. Would you happen to know the oldest combined age of a pitcher/hitter matchup in MLB history?

The independent game store near me is having a Buy One Get One Free used game sale, so I was able to pick up Chain of Memories and Mario vs. Donkey Kong for $20 total. I haven't tried CoM yet, but Mario vs. Donkey Kong is really fun. It kinda reminds me of a well-constructed flash game with Mario characters. That might not sound particularly flattering, but believe me, the ridiculously fun gameplay and impressive replay value definitely make it worth a purchase.

That's pretty sad. It shouldn't be that hard to make a decent Superman game, but I guess developers are unsurprisingly more interested in making a quick buck.
-
Hey, let's be fair now. Given their current 25-man roster, the remaining team would be ten people. Just enough to field a team and have a pinch hitter available.
-
I dunno, I remember Death and Return of Superman for the Genesis being pretty good.

Latin electronic music. She still goes clubbing at the age of 45. Also, plenty of Motown.

I'm not familiar with the Legion of Superheroes...could someone tell me why the green kid has a Braniac symbol on his chest and forehead?
