I feel a little dirty, but I think Nashville is my team. I got a little too excited after Dumont just scored. I want to cheer for the Penguins, but that seems too much like just cheering against Ottawa, which I do anyway.

Thanks Sportsnet, I'd much rather watch a Toronto/Manitoba AHL game. I could understand if they were showing the Raptors game, at least. Both 10 inning wins for Halladay have come against the Tigers.
-
Uh oh, Process Control Automation just pulled their TSM sponsorship.
-
I'm listening to the game on XM, which is better than nothing. Halladay pitched the 10th, but Bonderman's done after 9 innings. I wouldn't be surprised if Halladay at least started the 11th if it goes that far.

Nice pitching duel in Toronto between Halladay and Bonderman, 1-1 in the 8th. It would be nice if it was on TV here, though.

I might have 4 guys on the DL in the NL-only league if Ramirez's wrist injury is bad. Nice.

Yeah, Ed Helms from the Daily Show. I think that makes at least 4 actors who have been on both shows now. Who else? The actress who plays Phylis was in the boardroom on AD one time, the guy who plays Kevin was a gun salesman who sold a gun to Tobias, and Rob Riggle was the Booze Cruise captain and the activist who fell in love with Buster when he was in the coma. Patrice O'Neal being the big sea monster again last night reminded me that he played T-Bone on AD in 'Top Banana'. He was a flamer.

I liked Death Proof better the 2nd time around, still didn't like the ending so much, though. And it's probably not a good sign, but the local theatre here has already dropped it after just the one week. To be honest, though, I was a little surprised that they even had it at all.

Did I mis-hear, or did Juliette tell Jack when they were walking through the jungle that she dragged Kate into the jungle and handcuffed her there herself?
-
I don't know what they're going to do, exactly, but NBC and CBC are going to put Don Cherry and Brett Hull together for some segments during the Finals. And I guess CBC is pretty pissed that they got shafted in terms of scheduling of the 1st round, especially considering they pay $65 million and NBC pays nothing.

NHL '97 for the Saturn is $1 at Zellers.

No Saturday night games with Canadian teams sucks. Ooh, Tampa/Jersey. Ottawa on NBC is kinda weird, though, even though I know its just for Crosby.
-
Of course, you know more about hockey than me with your made-up Klingon words like GAA and SV%. Anyway, I'm sticking by the guy. Maybe I just feel bad for him.

The only blame I put on the shootout is that the Leafs are horrible at them, but that's their fault. The Leafs PK was terrible, I've said that before. It would be ok for a game or two here and there, but when it was bad it was some of the worst I've ever seen. And Raycroft isn't awful, he had some bad games that probably cost them a playoff spot, but the guy got shit on way too much.
-
I won't call them good, but they're not awful. Maybe we have different definitions of awful, but they had over 90 points, which isn't bad.

(1) Detroit Red Wings vs. (8) Calgary Flames - Wings in 6 (4) Nashville Predators vs. (5) San Jose Sharks - Preds in 7 (3) Vancouver Canucks vs. (6) Dallas Stars - Canucks in 7 (2) Fags vs. (7) Minnesota Wild - Ducks in 6 (1) Buffalo Sabres vs. (8) New York Islanders - Sabres in 5 (4) Ottawa Senators vs. (5) Pittsburgh Penguins - Penguins in 7 (it should go 7, at least, toss up there. I just can't pick Ottawa) (3) Atlanta Thrashers vs. (6) New York Rangers - Rangers in 6 (2) New Jersey Devils vs. (7) Tampa Bay Lightning - Devils in 6 Finals: Nashville over Pittsburgh in 7 Smythe: Crosby
-
The Leafs aren't awful, they just aren't very good. The Isles are a whole one point better. The Devils coming back, only to lose in a shootout was cruel, but it's the Leafs fault they missed out. Blowing that Buffalo game cost them the season.

The guys on XM are saying that Brodeur wants to start to make sure he gets the win record to himself.
-
Holy fuck, what a game. A 2.5 hour roller coaster ride.
-
If this game ends up tied in regulation, it'll be the worst OT ever.
-
Holy shit, they never should have scored that 3-1 goal. Bye-bye Raycroft.
-
The Leafs were amazing in that first 10 minutes, but you knew they couldn't keep that up. The Habs were lucky that it wasn't 2 or 3-0 after that. Huet letting in that awful goal makes up for it, though.

I've got 3 Mariners who I'm losing games on, plus, the only players who are hitting worth anything are my 3 Blue Jays and they had a game cancelled, too. Thankfully my pitching is doing really well.

I found out that I suck at the game last night. Failed Heart Shaped Box on easy on my first try, but that unlocked an achievement for my brother's friend, so something good came out of it.
