  1. I can't hear them over the sounds of them cooking me a steak.

    Frank Zappa

My favorite is either Black Page 2 or The Torture Never Stops.
  3. I was just getting done clicking the link in the first post of this thread
  4. Ok, Phil was creepy enough without singing that stalker song by The Police. Also, it's pretty apparent that the producers are protecting Melinda with the songs available from which to choose.

    Frank Zappa

I'm really digging Zappa in New York
  6. Well weren't they planning for a half season, then one full season after they got extended?
  7. damn... EDIT: Damn, again. Kellerman saves Doc's ass.
  8. yeah, but I specified Search Assistant because that's what I got stuck with
  9. Will do. There was a clip of a live song of his that I really liked, but I can't find the whole song. I think it was Tropical Hot Dog.
  10. I'm really, really new to Beefheart. Literally I just got some songs of his last night/this morning. Is the Beefheart/Zappa "Torture Never Stops" much like the "Zappa in New York" version?
  11. He did a "Torture Never Stops" cover? Sweet deal, that's one of my favorite Zappa songs
  12. I've heard some of his stuff (Autumn's Child and some stuff from Trout Mask Replica) and I like it a lot. Any reccommendations on what other stuff of his I should hear?

    LOST...

doing a Lost video game isn't like doing a 24 video game where you can have a self-contained video game plot. Either the plot of the video game would veer off from the plot of the show, and people would complain that it's too different, or it would coincide with the plot of the show, and people would complain about plot points being spoiled. Or, they could just invent characters to be on the island, but people would complain that you were just controlling some no-name crash survivor. Once you get past "Hey, they're making a Lost video game" it doesn't sound like too good of an idea.
  14. Oddly enough, I wasn't that big of a Hogan fan when I was younger. I was more into the Undertaker (my favorite wrestler from as far back as I could remember up until I started watching every week in 98) and Jake Roberts. Really the only mark-ish thing I can remember was thinking Kane was really gonna set the Brood on fire during an episode of Raw.
  15. "Wild Life" by Captain Beefheart
  16. I'm sure there's an RPG joke to make about that, but I'm too tired. So pretend that I did, and that it was hilarious.
  17. I didn't like any of their non-Warners, non-P&TB stuff. I do like the Chicken Boo theme song, though
  18. I had better taste in music in elementary school than middle school. Up until about 6th grade I mostly listened to old 70's bands, then between 6th and 9th grade something horrible happened to my brain and I started listening to awful music. I still listened to old 70's bands, but I also listened to stuff like Korn and Linkin Park (though in my defence I only listened to Linkin Park in 9th grade, and then later I had to put up with their shit because this twat I was dating was obsessed with them). I came to my senses in 10th grade and started listening to bands that didn't suck again. So, I guess I started having good taste in music again right before I turned 16. Man, I just shoulda said "yeah"
  19. OFF TOPIC- Gary Floyd: Is that the cat from Alien in your signature? I've never heard of H*****, so I can't say one way or the other about them.
  20. three-way-tie -My Chemical Romance -Linkin Park -Pussycat Dolls (if they count as a band)
  21. There was one about a hunting dog that kept trying to trap her but had a boner for her so he kept screwing up.
  22. Well, since Gwen Stefani is the only consistent thing about next week, I'm sure No Doubt songs fit under any of those themes.
  23. It's either No Doubt week or Alternative Week or 90's week or Pop Songs week depending on what time of day it is
