Hot Fuzz did about how I expected. Glad to see it's on the top 10 after getting the release Shaun of the Dead should've gotten.

The local multiplex didn't have Hot Fuzz, but they had this one, so me and the better half went to see it on Saturday. Funny stuff. I kinda want to see it again, mostly because I remember there being a bunch of funny parts but I can't remember what they were (aside from the intro)

In late June and early July (dates TBA), we're going to enter principal photography for Ninja Holocaust; a zombie movie in which the group of survivors is a ninja clan. We'll be filming in one park and one house. There's no money with which to pay people, but everybody involved will get a copy of the DVD. The picture she had with her, probably. I don't know how they got another copy of the picture, though, since they broke up right after it was taken. They did that in Desmond's weird pseudo-flashback, but I don't know if that's definately how things happened since that breakup seemed based around Desmond's pregonative spells

Anybody got any predictions on how Hot Fuzz will do this weekend? Shaun of the Dead apparently got enough praise and a big enough following for HF to get a wide release, so I guess it could do well theoretically, but at the same time it seems like an indy movie inexplicably getting a wide release. I'm guessing it'll make the middle of the top 10, somewhere between 7 and 4, but it won't get #1.

I didn't see Brecken Meyer or Amy Smart.

"Rise Above" had some good stuff on it, and I like "Director's Cut" by Fantomas

for filler. They needed people who weren't that great, so the ones they really wanted to win would have less competition

The creepy pedophiles in Running Scared.

Trailer's not THAT bad. I liked Pinnochi's way of getting around lying, and the ship burning and sinking
