I don't care for MMA at all really, I'm only interested in this because of Lesnar, but I'm getting into what I've seen so far. Loved the standing guillotine just now.
ALLEYAHLEEYLALAYAHELLIYEAH
I lol'd.
That will always get a laugh out of me.
Is there any word on how Festus will be presented on his return to Smackdown next week?
I find it funny that TNA just fucking couldn't resist injecting Amazing Kong with a good healthy dose of "TNA WrestleCrap" by sticking some mystery woman with her. I can't help but sit back and laugh at TNA, I really can't.
The two biggest angles, Colin Delaney and Punk/Chavo actually had some forward movement. For weeks now it's been the same exact thing. Colin fights a big guy, he gets destroyed. Punk wrestles Chavo or someone else without much "angle" to it. This week the Colin storyline actually went somewhere with Tommy Dreamer coming in to help him, and something actually happened with Punk and Chavo.
Even Shelton and Kane felt different to me than what we've been getting there.
It's no coincidence that these small changes finally took place on the first show without Lagana. It was very much intentional.
I'll tell ya this - you sure as hell can tell a difference in the show now that Lagana is gone. Last night was the first show without him since his firing, and it was very noticeable.
I can't believe that they're actually going this far with Chavo.
I love the guy, but I still can't believe it.
And that was funny as shit with CM Punk right here.
You know, I can't help but ask if John Cena had not returned tonight (or at any point before WM), would they have had Jeff Hardy actually win his title match?
Yeah, I know he was supposed to be "taken out", but he hit the steps wrong if you ask me, and like you said, hurt his wrist or something. I know it's nothing major, but it just looked weird to me.
Did I mention that I really like that feud?
Yeah, me too.
I hated his look, his work in the ring wasn't anything special, and he has one of the worst promo voices ever.
Now we can "look forward to" the TNA promoted "dream match" between Kurt Angle and Bobby Lashley. It will happen, and it'll happen this year. Oh boy.
