  1. Well clearly WWE needs to stick Davari AND Hassan with all of Cena's opponents, no matter who they are. Also have them all trash the fans for about 10-15 minutes before Cena even shows his face. Yep.
  2. I forgot about the Orton/Hardy program. Does this mean they'll eventually have a match together...with the title on the line?
  3. It's weird hearing some of the things that Cole and Tazz say, considering that Eddie just died.
  4. I didn't get it on release day, but I went to WalMart last night at around 11pm, saw a single copy of this game, and bought it out of impulse. I haven't played it much yet, but I'm getting into it today. So most of you are saying two thumbs up on this one?
  5. From everything I've heard, Eddie's friends helped him out quite a bit, a lot of people did. There wasn't anything that anyone could have done to help Eddie Guerrero's case, since his death more than likely, if not for sure, was a result from his past actions. What really sucks, is that this is the case for a lot of the guys who pass. Their past just comes back to claim them once and for all. They may be clean at the time of the death or the years leading up to it, since they finally realized that they are in danger, but they can't take away all of the bad they did over the years before they realized the danger. What really gets me, are the guys who are still doing all of this shit, right now in this day and age. If Kurt Angle is doing everything everyone thinks he's doing, then I just don't know what to say. It's cases like his, now so more than ever, that everyone around him needs to get involved, even if it came to Vince McMahon himself demanding it to the point of letting him go if Kurt doesn't deal with it.
  6. Now that's a great quote.
  7. This also means that we wont get a World Title match at Survivor Series, since Orton is on the SD team.
  8. This news does not sit well with me at all, but hopefully it will be a very short reign for Randy once again.
  9. I'd say Kurt Angle would be more of a news story because of, how naiwf just put it, him being an Olympic gold medalist dropping dead due to steroid related activities less than a decade from their triumph. I think that Hulk Hogan would be just as a big a story, but in a different way. It wouldn't cause the same type of news stories, it wouldn't open up a certain can of worms. How can Hogan not be insanely huge news? He's been an American icon since the early 80's. To this day you can ask just about anyone who isn't even a wrestling fan if they know who Hulk Hogan is, and they can tell you. Name a non-wrestling fan to name a wrestler or two, and Hogan is the guy you'll hear more often than not. Kurt Angle's death would cause more actual reports and the such. Hulk Hogan's death would be a national story just because of who he is.
  10. If the ending sequence to that match didn't at least give you goose bumps, then I don't know what to say about you.
  11. If that's true, they should turn it into an angle and say that it knocked the retarded out of him, instead of him losing his smile.
  12. I would love to be able to go back in time and actually see that 2002 Austin/Eddie feud now.
  13. Oh that's more than true, but when it comes to Bret he seems to be at the top of the list. It's almost, almost, to the point where it's enough to make someone sick. I don't blame him though, as he has every right in the world to be like that, especially with all of the bad things that have happened to him over the years.
  14. Corey has a bunch of Stampede matches that are complete.
  15. I don't think it's so much bullshit as it is common sense.
  16. They talked about that ladder match in the main feature, showing quite a bit of it (well, a couple of minutes including the interview by Bret after the match, bue either wayit's more than just two seconds). It was pretty cool seeing the clips of that match knowing what year it took place.
  17. Yeah. He was shootin' on RAW the other week.
  18. So that's the real reason Jerry Jarrett was at WWE headquarters a few weeks ago.
  19. He looks like he's about to pop right there. What happened with Kurt anyway? Once upon a time it seemed like, while he loved the business, it didn't totally mean the world to him and he could just up and quit it at any point. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, he totally dedicated his life to the business 100%.
  20. From WWE.com:
  21. I just finished watching the main feature. It's obviously one of the best that WWE has released so far, but since Bret had such an amazing career which had so many important things happen during it, it does leave you wanting more, a lot more. It feels like a two hour sample of what was originally a 10 hour mini-series or something. I'd have loved to have him speak more about his feud with Owen, all of the matches they had, how they "reconciled" in the ring eventually, and on and on. I'd loved to have been able to hear more about the Hart Foundation days, both the original tag team and the eventual stable. I'd love to hear more and more about everything that is included. I can't fault the DVD for this though, as there is only so much they can do with two hours, and they're lucky that they got to as much as they did with such a short amount of time. Like I said, it is one of the best they've done so far, if not the best, but because of the nature of the career, the main feature left me wanting a lot more than what we have here. I'm sure that the books that he is writing will cover everything else in way more detail, so that should help fill any voids that I myself have, as well as anyone else. I have found four easter eggs: -Disc Two -------> Extras Menu -------> Highlight "Boston Garden 3/8/86, Bret Hart vs. Ricky Steamboat" and press the right arrow twice. It shows Bret talking about how he always tried to make his wrestling look real, instead of how so many have more of a fake style. -Disc Two -------> Extras Menu -------> Highlight "Saturday Night's Main Event 4/28/90, Hart Foundation vs. Rockers" and press the left arrow two times. It shows Bret talking about how he came up with his Hitman ring name. -Disc Two -------> Extras Menu -------> Highlight "WWE Intercontinental Championship Match, Summerslam 1992 8/29/92, Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog" and then press the left arrow two times. It shows Bret talking about being able to call him self "The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be". -Disc Three -------> Extras Menu -------> Highlight "WWE Championship Match, Survivor Series 11/19/95, Bret Hart vs. Diesel" and press the right arrow two times. It plays a music video (You Start A Fire) with clips of Bret Hart. I have not been able to find the easter egg that cawthon777 posted about earlier, so like he said, perhaps it was just his DVD acting up. I have no idea for sure though.
  22. He's had that softness in his voice when doing interviews for as long as I can remember, and I've been following his career since the 80's.
  23. Wow, it didn't even go 45 minutes.
