I could swear that I read that The Hammer was on Heat a few weeks ago, was defeated by Conway, and then turned heel by beating up Eugene after he lost. Is that true? And yeah, I seriously thought this would be about MC Hammer also. Get ready for more and more of the older guys coming in.

They showed far too many of the commercials from the past few years. It's sad when it's obvious that SNL casts from years ago do even that better than the new crop, and it says that much more about the past few years of the show.
-
I don't even remember them blaming Spongebob, but I do know it beat RAW in the ratings quite a few times. And yeah, I also remember at one point that more 18-34 year olds watched SB more than kids. I've watched it, I'm not ashamed to say. Hell, I own the season sets.

I thought it was a hit even with WWE's target demographic.

I openly admit that I just about hate all of the new SNL episodes, and have for the past few years, but I love Best Of shows like this. To me, the commercials are one of the things they have just about always done somewhat consistantly well. Even some of the new ones are pretty funny. Just a heads up in case you forgot about it being on tonight.

Triple H goes off on fan at house show

This link was posted on PWInsider today. So come on, which one of you guys emailed it to them? -
John Cena has only impressed me on the stick when he becomes very intense. It's not about his rap "skills", or any of that. I remember one time, although I don't remember what it was about, that he cut an amazing promo backstage. He needs to just be an intense character, not the childish ass that we see so much. One huge problem with him, is that I get the feeling that WWE wants us to like the guy too much. They aren't letting it just happen naturally.

That's the best Cena match I've seen in a long time, heh, thanks a lot. Very interesting, I'm loving that search engine: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7...648103&q=misawa http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=24...371192135&q=wwe http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=53...415625781&q=wwe

I don't think Tazz and Cole should be split up. They are doing perfectly fine on SD together.
-
His work for the Flair/HHH bout is some of his best work ever in my opinion.

It was a mistake to try to make Coach their number one guy anyway, so I blame Vince. Coach just isn't the type of guy to have in that posistion. He's a great comedic heel character, and he's great on a three man team. I'd even love to see him be an actual manager for a few guys, I think that could really work. I don't have much to say about Styles other than, well, thank God. Oh boy. Am I the only one who sees the insanity in that statement?
-
Ok, that's it, we've got to make that happen somehow now.
-
At least they aren't wearing full body condoms under the suspenders and bow ties.
-
That is one aspect today that new guys just aren't learning in "wrestling school". Back in the day, quite a few guys knew how to make the little movements count, but yes, Jake is one of the best of all time in that department.

How about *ugh* Vicious & Delicious II?

If they turn Angle face, they need him to remain basicly the same hardcore character that we've seen lately, much like how they pretty much allowed Austin to remain the same after they first turned him face. Kurt Angle could be huge, even as a face, but I doubt WWE will ever allow that.
-
Turning Cena heel would be so simple, and in my eyes it should have been done on this past PPV. More and more fans love Angle, more and more hate Cena. Have Angle win the title which makes the fans very happy, have Cena "show his true colors" by attacking Angle after the match which gives the fans even that much more of a reason to hate the guy, and tada, one of the easiest heel turns/face turns ever. If they don't do it sooner than later, it'll get to the point where Cena will be a guy that the fans wont even love to hate. He'll just be a guy that they want the fuck off of their TV.
-
There is no doubting that, but he'd be making WWE a ton of bucks even if he wasn't the champion. There are others who make WWE a ton of money with merchandise, but they aren't champs. That is NOT an excuse to keep him as your world champion. I've never seen Cena as a world champ type of guy, and I doubt I ever will. I've been saying this for a long time now, but mark my words, the day is coming when the only fans he'll have left will be the "Jeff Hardy types", and I'm sure you know what I mean by that.

Come on everyone, sing along! AMERICAN MALES, AMERICAN MALES, AMERICAN MALES, AMERICAN MALES

I don't look at Benoit as a guy who really wants to play it safe in the ring and do the WWE style of matches for too much longer. I'm willing to bet that he'd love to have freedom in the ring once again, especially against guys like Joe, etc... I'm sure the guy has saved up a lot of money. Since he's getting older, he might just take the pay cut to have the chance to truly shine in the ring once again.

Who was the poster here that predicted a ratings of 2.0-3.0? Here is just a tiny bit more, about the lead-in, from PWInsider:
-
And there we have it. It should have been JBL, Benoit, Eddie, and Holly tossing him though.
-
Ha, they are making the Striker incident a TV angle. So when will they toss Bishoff out of the building?
-
If only they had Johnny in there with them. Lashley is greener than Nunzio's tights though.
-
Just that?
