MacCulloch had some kind of foot disease that kept him out all of last year. The chance of him ever playing again was very slim. "News": The Cavs will sign Scott Williams. Injuries: Jamal Mashburn will start the season on the injured list. Steve Blake (Wizards' backup PG) will miss 10-12 weeks. I had the article a couple days ago, but I can't find it now. But you know I wouldn't lie to you. Vlade Divac will be out for about a month after X-rays revealed a herniated disc in his back. He could miss the Lakers' opener.

Haven't heard of the Jordan rumors, but Dennis Rodman is trying out for the Nuggets. Also the Bucks signed Jelani McCoy. Also, a Carter-for-Baron trade rumor seems to be formulating.

Bob Sura had back surgery and will miss at least the first two weeks of the season. BTW, I was at the Y this morning, and was flipping channels, and noticed Woody Paige on Cold Pizza. I also noticed the discussion was about Ron Artest, so I kept it on. I only caught the tail end of the discussion, but it was enough to catch this from that moron Skip Bayless: "They're not going to get Peja Stojakovic for this guy...that's just dreaming." ...what the fuck is that supposed to mean? He honestly thinks that Peja is better all-around than Artest?

Even funnier from that Rumble, if you look in the bottom left corner as Barry Horowitz is running out once they go back to the wide shot, you can see two guys dressed like Diesel and Undertaker waving their arms to his music. Me and my brother were rewinding it and cracking up for a good 15 minutes.
