  1. Try using the spyware remover in the pinned thread..that should help you out.
  2. I wish they'd put the six-hour cut they had a while back on the EE. They won't, but it should be interesting to see what they add..as it's got a reported three and a half-hour running time already.
  3. As much as there's bitching about "the RVD fans just saying RVD RULZ!" for half the thread..it's just as sad that half the argument is "He's not a great worker." How many World Heavyweight Champions in the WWF/E have ever been outstanding technical wrestlers? Bret Hart, yeah. I don't remember Hogan being one. Just in the last year, HHH, and Show have been champions, and they're no miracle workers, either. Only on the internet does being a great wrestler mean that someone should get a belt. The only thing great wrestlers get to do is put over the guys who are at the top. That's it.
  4. James Clavell's Shogun and Smallville: Season One.
  5. Personally, I don't care if they're black or white or whatever as long as they can fit the part. That's it. I just don't like Halle Berry one bit.
  6. System Shock 1/2 needs to be on that list, somewhere.
  7. The only problem is: It's damned hard to approach DVD quality..and they're a better deal than your average CD..
  8. This may be off subject, but I can't stand the "OMG! Look at this!"-ish signature that's got the sign with the IP, ISP, etc in it.
  9. This is getting really pathetic on both sides, and boards. Everyone's acting like a bunch of five-year olds at this.
  10. Either that, or ROH can be downloaded a few places. VCD format is fairly common. Isn't the whole "RF going ballistic on bootleggers" thing hypocritical anyway? Considering half the stuff on that site somebody else has liscensed?
  11. That isn't true. Austin's been doing the same thing for years, and he still gets good heat..despite his character being staler than anyone else's..except possibly the Dudleys.
  12. It never fails to amuse me how many pathetic pot jokes people can make in one thread. What's the big deal? Some of the biggest IWC darlings have been walking ads for sterioids, and nobody calls -that- into account..
  13. chron.com would be the Houston Chronicle, which is the newspaper here. "The Rock, 31, doesn't want to make a Scorpion King sequel, either, and he considers his wrestling career over. "There's not much left for me to do in wrestling," said the first seven-time World Wrestling Entertainment champ. "
  14. Ah, hell. MGS3 is going to be so overhyped it isn't funny..
  15. I don't see the problem here. After all, it's not like he'd be "taking someone else's spot"..because there isn't anyone getting a serious main event push now except Orton. Don't worry, Rock wouldn't displace the oh-so "deserving" Benoit, Jericho, and company.
  16. This is much stiffer competition we're talking about. It's more comparable to the PSX situation. Nintendo's already got a large fanbase (ala PSX/PS2) when Sony's a new entry into the market (Xbox)
  17. Nintendo won't go out of buisness. Remember the near-monopoly they have on the handheld market?
  18. For anyone complaining about the Rock/Austin comments..remember that Rock jobs every time he comes back, and actually looks weak. Austin, now? Pfft.
  19. He's got a point, like it or not. Two words. "Hulk Hogan". As far as the whole Austin thing goes, the match quality really didin't matter except to the smarks. All Austin had to do was be Austin, and Stunner somebody. That's really it. ..and why does "being biased" for a wrestler matter here on the Benoit Board? Find a better argument than that.
  20. Wait, you mean wrestling ability matters in this company? The three biggest stars they've had are Hogan, Austin, and Rock. As good as Austin supposedly was, he sure had the same paint-by-numbers, spot-spot-spot match a hell of a lot of nights. Truth is, being a good wrestler has never been a requirement in this company. Neither has being able to sell. Really, the whole harping on selling thing is very much a smark bitch point, and that's all. Not everybody has to be Jesus H. Benoit (I won't get started there, though) because it simply isn't required. It's been shown that the casuals will pop for a spot as much or more than they would for technical wrestling. How many of the best wrestlers in the company were jobbers, or just high-midcarders used to put over main event talent?
  21. Return of the King is all I can think of. (It's my favorite of the three books, and always has been.)
  22. At least that's cool. Making the Ewoks "more vicious" sounds kinda cool, but overall I'm not sure I like these changes. Good thing I have my unofficial DVD's of the original films. Where did you get them, and how good of quality is it? I've got them on VHS, but it just isn't the same. *cough* This is the only case I'd buy a bootleg over the "official" discs.
  23. Smallville, and that's about it.
  24. Ric Flair leading HHH in a forklift in the background during a backstage brawl on Raw once. Don't particularly remember which one.
  25. Yeah I got tired of arguing with my friends that Mobile Suit Gundam was superior to Wing. "But the Gundams are cool!!!!" No kidding, TMD. I don't think I have enough parts on my body to count the number of times I've wanted to throttle some stupid fangirl on a messageboard who loves that damned series because it's chock full of "bishes"... As for my personal favorite Gundam series: 08th MS Team, MSG, and 0083: Stardust Memories are the best I've seen. As far as SEED on CN goes, it'll probably get the Kenshin treatment if it's on Toonami. If not and it ends up on AS, it might not get edited as much, if at all pending on the content. I'll keep my intense hatred for Wing and the entire "bishie" bit quiet for now. Excessive fandom with that series by someone I used to know just about turned me off anime entirely. Good thing SEED helped me recover. It'll have to go on AS, if at all as it's more mature than Wing, and deceptively violent. Hack//SIGN is pretty much about what happens inside an MMORPG, though it's kinda hard to pin it down without going into spoilers. It's a bit slow-moving, and a lot of talk compared to action, which may turn people off.
