  1. TRIPLE-THREAT OF DEATH!! Austin Sly vs. Jacob Helmsley vs. Edward James ~ I'll show up, but I pick Austin Sly for the victory because I've never won a triple threat match in my e-feding career. And no, that wasn't an attempt to get sympathy or shit, I seriously suck in triple threat contests (both of the RP and match writing types). Exciting Singles Match of Epic Proportions!! Tryst vs. Crow ~ I'll go with Tryst, because the guy is an absolute nutter. Not as nutty as me though. TAAAAAAAAAAG TEAM EXTRAVAGANZA!! “Coyote” Coy West and Alan Clark vs. The House of Todd ~ The Wayward Sons ... really sorry my Todd. I hope you can forgive me, I just think they've got the better chance. Ok, I'm a freaking Clark Mark more than Disicple of Todd. I admit it. Two Winners Face Off So One of Them Can LOSE!! “La Sensation Senegalaise” Said vs. Toxxic ~ Toxxic. Sorry Said, but Tox is one sick bastard. Stable Mates Go Hardcore!! Dace Night vs. Aecas ~ Dace Night, because it's Dace F'N Night. TAG TEAM TITLES YEEEEAH!! LADDER STYLEZ!! Wild & Dangerous vs. The In Crowd ~ The In Crowd. Sorry WC and Dangerous, but I think they aren't willing to give you guys the titles. Two Badasses Kick Eachother’s… Uhm, Badasses! Janus vs. Nathanial Kibagami ~ Janus. Feuds Abound In Tag Team Action!! ”The Superior One” Tom Flesher and “Notorious” John Duran vs. “Grappler” Charlie Matthews and Ann Onita ~ Tough call. I'll go with Duran and Flesher.
  2. Seriously, how are RPGs as a whole overrated? Don't just tag something if you aren't going to back it up. Clamping a tag on RPGs as a whole and not explaining anything and using FF as example is a poor defensive arguement. I was talking about how RPGs are portrayed at the GameFAQs boards. Wasn't that what this topic originally turned into? A discussion about the bias at GameFAQs? Over there, RPGs can seemingly do no wrong. From what I've read, anyone who doesn't like RPGs are either (a) called idiots or (b) accused of flaming. I wasn't trying to present it as a fact. If it came across that way, I apologize. I thought it was clear that I was stating my opinion. I thought it would be redundant to add "in my opinion" before each statement, which is why I didn't. Sorry about that. I thought you were meaning here. Sakura and Andrew got off on their own subject of talking about gaming stuff, so I thought we had drifted away from the subject at hand. My bad. If you were meaning over at Gamefaqs, I'll agree with you. It is utterly asinine as to how they treat RPGs as best genre (although, I'd agree with that statement myself). As for the comment thingy, I kinda realized it was your own opinion afterall, so sorry about that as well. I just saw that, and kinda replied and didn't really take the time to think over it hard.
  3. WOOO~!!! THE TAGS ARE BACK~!!! HURRAY!!!
  4. Seriously, how are RPGs as a whole overrated? Don't just tag something if you aren't going to back it up. Clamping a tag on RPGs as a whole and not explaining anything and using FF as example is a poor defensive arguement. And Final Fantasy is certainly not the most overrated gaming series out there. There are plenty of good RPGs, and some of them aren't turn based but real-time. If you like real-time so much, why not get KotoR or the upcoming game Sudeki? Just because you don't like turn-based ones, does not mean you have to sour on the whole bunch. If you don't like the genre itself fine, I can understand that. Just don't take it into an discussion and present it in a way that it comes off as fact.
  5. Does it really matter? Just work storylines and feuds to your advantage then. Have a brief change in one of the titles to break up the "all-face" run. Seriously, it isn't that bad. When I used to play WWE, I once had every single WWE title on a face. Think about all the titles in the WWE, and then think about what I said. That was challenging, but fun to do. And besides, why is it ok to have an all-heel run, but all-face is frowned upon?
  6. Both times I've charged, I've had my guy suspended. Even when both of the times my guy got beaned in the head.
  7. And apparently a lot of us didn't like to hit on Opening Day. Yeesh a lot of people couldn't hit and couldn't pitch. Just a very unusual start for us all.
  8. Because Domi scored the winning goal and Belfour got the shutout. And don't give me any crap about "oh, they didn't do anything". They did. And if it was the Sens who won like that, and it was like Bondra and Lalime who did the same, I know their names would 2 of the 3 stars.
  9. NA NA NA NA~!! NA NA NA NA~!! HEY HEY HEY HEY~!! GOOD BYE ISLANDERS~!!! Martin St. Louis scores the OT winner and the end to the series! 3-2~!!!
  10. Oh puh-lease. Give me another story. The guy has a freaking job to do, let him do it. Yes, his brother is the pitcher. But c'mon now. Do you really think he'd like to lose his job? He'll call it down the line unless he's a jackass. I really don't believe in this shit. You see favoritism all along the league. Or umps who give a bigger or weaker strikezone to different pitchers. So please don't play the "favoritism card". I really don't buy that brother crap. If the guy does show favoritism to his brother, then pull his ass. If he doesn't, then leave him be.
  11. If he's doing good, let him ump behind the plate for his brother's games. Unless it becomes an obvious problem, then take him away.
  12. Domi and Belfour should've gotten stars. I'm sorry but they should've. I mean Chara gets on the ballot? FOR WHAT?
  13. Ah ok, thanks JHawk. I wasn't sure about that. Thanks for the clarifications.
  14. Actually signs point to it sticking as WWE aren't letting any of their wrestlers get pinned by TNA wrestlers.
  15. About time JHawk! Um... Wasn't the belly to back suplex actually a german suplex? I called it as a german suplex as it looked very much like a german suplex. Cause honestly, I thought that was a german suplex.
  16. Oh don't get me wrong. Unless TNA steps up the pay, they'll have a lot of workers leaving in two years. This will definitely be interesting to see what happens as we get closer to June.
  17. Yes they were. 2-0 with 4:03 in the third thanks to a goal by Joey Newy.
  18. HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! 1-0 Leafs by a Tie Domi goal that was actually scored by the Smolinski! This is a great game for all the wrong reasons. Worst goal to be scored. Low shot totals. Practically no calls... I will so remember this game.
  19. So TNA is really going to be on TV now? Interesting.
  20. I'd like to think of it as just being simplistic.
  21. And this game has had almost nothing being called. It's absolutely insane. And I'm sorry, I want Calgary vs. Toronto now. So... GO LEAFS GO~!!!
  22. I was born in Edmonton. I was then raised for eleven and a half years in a place called Redwater, Alberta. Then I moved to St. Alberta, Alberta for six and a half years. Only now living in Edmonton for nearly seven months. Does the above tell you where I'm from? If not, the answer your question, no. However, for safety sake, I do say I just come from Edmonton. You know, to make it easier on you guys. [/of me playing off of the WWE stupidity of changing where you are from after announcing it that way for years] Am I going to Backlash? Fuck no. I'm broke. So I won't be seeing Backlash. Edit: To get my post back on track. Congrats to Benoit on getting a day named after himself. Probably when he retires, we can expect to see Jasper Ave renamed Benoit Ave.
  23. Because TNA didn't likely have a TV deal with Fox Sports. You know, if WWE is being this cautious about letting their wrestlers lose to TNA wrestlers, does that not say TNA might be getting that deal for sure?
  24. As I had mentioned previously. If you are midcard or less in overness, you can usually sign them to a written contract. Just sign them to your company first on an open contract, make sure they have high overness, and you'll sign them in most cases. This can also work for uppercards, but not always. If the person who wish to hire onto a company higher than you, usually forget it unless they are absolutely must have. As you'll end up shelling out so much cash, it is nuts. As for the stealing, I'd prefer TEW, because I think people would soon get loyal to me and not leave my ass. I hate that about EWR. Thankfully Jonny C (WLW) and Austin Lee (SW) haven't left my ass for new glory. Because you are competiting (indirectly) against Ring of Honor, Combat Zone Wrestling, and FLI (as if I'm spelling out their whole name). Hence, boost your production values to above what RoH has, and also have your advertising 10% of what you have. It also helps to get a TV show as RoH and CZW both have those. Thus making them "better" than you for that. If you can't get a TV show, go Weekly PPV till you can (and then switch back to regular PPV), as you need to put on something Weekly. Once again, this will mean you will probably have to hire people on permanently, thus you'll have to build up your midcarders and superstars, and pretty much leave any MEs you can't land alone. Also, it wouldn't be a bad thing to have like kick ass shows. Not good shows for cult level. But kick ass. If you have to scrap a match or two to get your more charisamatic stars on to pump up ratings, do so. Just makes you look better in the end.
