I never heard you people bitch about the one guy going down on an ugly and blatant hit and going "oooh... the guy needs to be gone until the injuried person is back". So what changed now? Is it because he was carried off in a stretcher? Was it the fact that it looked gory as fuck? Because you know, the Bookaboom hit (shut up, I can't spell his name) didn't seem to call up for as much "oh my God, Bookaboom should return when the person he hit did".

The only reason Bertuzzi gets this claim is: 1) He's a league star. 2) It looks pretty damn brutal of a hit. 3) More PC World we live in. But if Moore sues Bertuzzi how is that right? If Bertuzzi doesn't work and loses the settlement, he'll be pretty fucked over till Moore gets back on the ice. Because he can't pay the ludicrious sum that Moore of course will ask. Worse, what happens if Bertuzzi can't go back to work cause Moore will never be able to return? How the hell do you condone that? I mean, yes it was a pretty bad hit. But as was said, there were plenty of worse hits and shit that go on yet not a damn soul gave a fucking care to those.

Bertuzzi certainly would have made a difference in the Westerm quarters. It came down to one goal, which I'm certain Bertuzzi would have a few of. But are you sure about that? Kippy was killing every team he faced after he joined Calgary. I find it hard to believe that Bertuzzi would've instantly helped the Canucks to stopping Calgary. All it would've done is sent it into a very long series. That's about it. Calgary still would've moved onto the Finals. As for Bertuzzi, yeah he fucked Moore up good. But how is this being fair to him? I mean, as everyone pointed out, he's lost paychecks, he's missed out on World Cups and the playoffs. He's probably going to be sued and of course will lose, cause even though there is a chance that this shit happens, Moore will win his lawsuit against Bertuzzi (however, if I was a judge, I would not find Bertuzzi liable, but instead the NHL for allowing such shit to happen).

You know, you could just do a promo about skipping out of HD and going to the concert. Could be entertaining, as you can do a whole speel on Zack trying to get to Kelly but gets rejected by the security people cause your a wrestler (even though you have a backstage pass) and hilarity ensues as you are there and stuff.

FFIX isn't really that great of a storyline. Sure, there's some bright spots, but it generally just didn't feel as grandoise as other Final Fantasys. With at least every Final Fantasy game, I'm overwhelmed by any aspect of the game. This one was just smack of meh. The music is really the worst out of the PS1 games, the storyline was better than FFVIII till you got a certain point (shit, I forget at what point). The graphics while returning to deformite really made me wince because it didn't really make it look that good but rather bad. The only thing I liked about Final Fantasy IX a lot was the FMVs, but even then I liked FFVIII's way more.

Yeah, it was implied, but not obvious because they couldn't get away with it. Then again, most people swear that Yuffie was the only girl to get anything from Cloud (that being a kiss). ...which I think is absolutely stupid. And my God it was an absolute bitch to get Yuffie to be Cloud's date. Oh Working Designs makes really fucking horrid jokes. So so bad.

There is NOTHING I hate more than a fucking teaser. Grrrrrrrr. Meh... Its not much of a teaser, read at your own damn risk: Kuja saves Zidane from getting speared by the tree. Typical bad guy realizing how wrong he is and how right the hero is. It was still fucking lame. There was no reason whatsoever to have that last extra guy, other than a Russo Swerve. Kuja should have been the LAST boss, period. Meh, its really standard evil bad guy finally being done in. Just instead of a bomb, or some really conceived evil spell, its a baddie. Not really anything wrong with that. Right Coins, my bad. It wasn't much of an explanation (as my spoiler indicates), but it at least gives a reason to how Zidane survives. ...and no, just cause of the spoiler, it didn't make battles any less important. Meh, Zeromus was introduced not on the final battle, but during the last stretch. Besides, when I got to that point, I realized that someone had to be using Golbez exactly like how Kain was being used. (I know this wasn't directed at me, but felt like commenting)

At least its not like Komijul who has pretty much destroyed any chances of me taking any of the batting stuff... My only hope is my pitching staff wins all the stuff... Wait... That's pretty much not going to happen. *sigh* Guess I might as well look to next year...

There's a pitcher and a batter that I say are the best steals of the draft. Wouldn't common sense dictate that I'm speaking of both player respectively concerning what they do for a team? I would think so. Again, Brian Roberts only didn't get steal written on him is because Lane was nearly not drafted and is nearly top 10 batter wise right now, hence he got installed. Check back in at the end of May and this will probably change (unless you know, Lane gets hot and Roberts gets cold). As far as regular ol' steals go, I've got no idea, I just ran with the draft. You guys have fun with the other ones.

Argument could be made for Roberts, yes. However, I based it on the fact that Lane was drafted nearly 5 rounds lower (hell we only had 14 rounds, so he nearly wasn't drafted) and is nearly Top 10 material. However, I just did it based on what has happened so far. Hence, Lane could fall to the wayside and Roberts continues as he is, you'll get credit for it at the end of the year. Just did a here and now thing for the hell of it.

So I went through the rankings based on what we've played through and who's been drafted where and who made the biggest steals in terms of current rankings and when they were drafted: Jason Marquis (Taken in Round 8) and Jason Lane (Taken in Round 12), both by Warts Whackos. Something to humor your day.

I wouldn't complain HQ. You had the best hitter last week in Floyd and the best pitcher in Prior. If I were you, I'd be happy about it.

Statistics in general aren't a good way of judging a good player. However, in terms of a fantasy league, that's what makes the best the best. Yes, April statistics might not be the best way of doing it either, but as of right now, he's not that high on the list. Statistically? I doubt it. He'd need at least 12 wins in 3 months time, at least an ERA of 3.25, and a WHIP of 1.00 with the way some of the pitchers are going this season. And just for humor...
