  1. They'll feed him to Johnny Parisi on Raw AM.
  2. My gut tells me Keyshawn should have the edge as the #3 receiver just due to the caliber of his competition. However, I'm FAR from an expert so I may be missing something newsworthy that someone else may be able to pick up.
  3. I drafted Davis, but I have Willie Parker starting and since a 2nd RB is optional, I usually would play Owens, Muhammed, and Randle-El at WRs. However, this week I figure Davis is a good matchup at Miami so I'm playing him instead of Randle El who is hosting New England.
  4. In a 288-player league (16 teams w/ 18 players through ESPN), I've managed to snag McNabb, Owens, and Willie Parker. Needless to say I'm 2-0 and won last week 152-62. <----- Setting himself up for disappointment.
  5. Granted, I split the fee w/ a buddy, but WCW World War 3 1997 was the biggest waste of a ppv dollar I've ever spent. IIRC, not one title changed. Not one storyline was advanced except for Scott Hall earning a future WCW Title shot. It was just a bunch of mediocre wrestling.
  6. It's the only way to go.
  7. I think the match listing is fine. Relatively few recycled matches from widely spread ppvs or other dvds. While unspectacular, I'm looking forward to seeing the rare goodies on it. Roberts/Poffo should be an entertaining extra as well as his pre-WWF stuff. The Snake Bite segment was replayed at Survivor Series 1991 anyway and I'm sure it'll be brought up in the main feature. However, I'm thinking they just want to shy away from showing too much Macho Man footage for fear of having to put up w/ his tantrums for using his likeness and all that jazz.
  8. You're welcome.
  9. "That was a pretty good dog, but don't get up yet!" I only have a snippet of that segment from CV Previews but it was solid gold nonetheless. Not sure if this counts but Lou E Dangerously is causing all kinds of havoc backstage at N2R99 when he marches past The Sandman (who just returned to ECW a couple weeks prior) and yells out . . . "You're FIRED . . . AGAIN!" It was too random, pointless, but humorous not to post it here.
  10. The HBK love on this board is IMO really saddening. He was, along with Kevin Nash, one of the top two assholes in the WWF during the 90's. Hell, he's still at the top of the list of assholes in today's WWE.
  11. I can't believe they wrote in Snitsky. Kane's training sessions sound like the Hart family dungeon.
  12. Whoops, meant to say WMX ladder match instead of just WMX.
  13. I must be the one of the only ones who doesn't think the WMX ladder match was anything to gush about over 10 years later. At the time, I thought it was really innovating because I had no idea the ladder match had been invented several years prior. A ladder match is going to be a spotfest by nature. Not many fans (especially casual ones) are looking for a whole lot of psychology going into one . . . other than 'don't let that other guy get up the ladder'. With that said, the original 4 TLC matches obviously smoked RR/HBK out of the water. The odds of me sitting down to watch the WMX (EDIT: (ladder match)) again are slim and none . . . and slim is walking out the door.
  14. Can you please expand on this? He seemed like he was a pretty down to Earth guy every time I've seen or read something about him. Thanks.
  15. At QB, should I go w/ McNabb hosting San Francisco . . . or Brees at Denver? It looks to be a win-win situation but w/ McNabb's chest bruise, I'm leaning towards Brees. For the RB/WR position, am I better off starting Antwaan Randle El at Houston . . . or Stephen Davis hosting New England? I would think it's safer bet going w/ the RB, but considering the respective opponents, I'm not so sure. Thanks in advance.
  16. Since I'm on a ECW on TNN fix (anything but WWE at this point): - The Network angle - The seemingly weekly match involving either Crazy vs. Tajiri, Crazy vs. Guido, Tajiri vs. Guido, or a 3-Way Dance involving the 3.
  17. Since I've had sigs turned off for quite a while, I didn't even know this existed. I can brace myself long enough for an opinion from you.
  18. Quote the Randy, Nevermore.
  19. Hmmm . . . I don't think the deck is quite stacked enough . . . lemme think . . . WWE Champion John Cena will compete NEXT WEEK . . . against his opponent Kurt ANGLE . . . & Tyson TOMKO!!! AND SNITSKY!!! And their partner . . . EDGE!!! Who will be joined by . . . . . KKKKKAAAAANNNNEEEE!!! Let's see you beat those odds John Cena.
  20. And if you don't get your act together, you'll be back shooting Lane 4 at Rock N Bowl! YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!? I AM NETWORK, BY GODDD!!! I WILL SEND THIS PROMOTION BACK TO THE STONE AGE!!! I absoutely loved his perfectly timed interruptions of Gertner as well as Gertner's temper tantrums almost every week because of it. EXCUSE ME! EXCUSE . . . ME!!!
  21. I just got dvds of every ECW on TNN episode so I'm drunk on that right now "When two wrestlers with the same color hair battle, THAT is what WE at the NETWORK call a RATINGS KILLER!!!" "Don't forget our newest show on TNN . . . Rrrrrrock 'N' BOOOWWWLLLLLL!!!" Cyrus was great!
  22. Most of mine are from the TNN era since that's 90% of the ECW I saw. - Super Crazy shockingly wins the TV Title - The Mikey/Tajiri/Minister promos - I enjoyed the dynamic of Mike Awesome defending the ECW Title vs. New Jack - The ECW/WWF fiasco from WrestlePalooza 1997 right through Taz winning the TV Title - Kid Kash wins the TV Title from Rhino after intereference from almost the entire ECW roster (I must be a mark for TV Title changes)
  23. And he had the nerve to say that only 2 guys were carrying the WWF banner in the 1980s . . . Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon.
  24. I'm getting tired of this "Vince can't do this to gimmicks he didn't create" defense. Yes he can. He was smart enough to buy the rights to the names. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never said he couldn't. It just pisses me off that he does.
  25. I was referring to scratches. My brand new Road Warriors dvd plays like crap at a few spots as does a couple other commercial dvds I have. Plus, every time I lend one out, it comes back in painfully poor condition. Granted, I probably shouldn't lend them out but I never had that problem w/ tapes. Besides, I like the fact that I can record and watch stuff on a 8hr tape w/o having to put it on 4 2hr discs.
