C'mon guys, I still want to see Gowen get stiffed by Bradshaw, Nathan Jones, Tajiri, Brock (again), Big Show, Hardcore Holly, and whoever else wants to beat this bitch to the ground. However, I would LOVE to see a Gowen/Bossman feud where he proclaims and proves that Zack's momma is a hooker. "Hey Zack, your momma's a whore and her clients said so!" At least I'd be entertained.

Maxx Muscle was a riot as DDP's bodyguard in 1995. DDP would ramble on and on and on, and would ask, "Ain't that right Maxx?" A dull "absolutely" would follow. I don't know if he acted disinterested to counteract DDP's hyperness or if he was just bored. Then, when Maxx FINALLY got a word in, DDP paid for it. Johnny B. Badd was feuding with DDP when Badd had a US Title Match on Saturday Night vs. Sting. On two occasions, Badd no showed. DDP was then boasting to Mean Gene about how he should have had the title shot when Badd franctically came into the picture filthy and with his bags. Okerlund told Badd he blew it when Badd explained he had a flat tire and couldn't make it. Then, Maxx tried to show his compasion by saying, "Boy that's a shame you had four flat tires." "FOUR FLAT TIRES?!? I said A FLAT TIRE!!!" exclaimed Badd before suckerpunching Page. And that, my friends, is the life and times of Maxx Muscle.

As always, good review. As for the Stand commercials in Ohio, when going to the Viacom building to present petitions . . . why wouldn't the kids dress up a bit to show they're serious about it? Waltzing right in wearing the Walmart smiley face special clothes will do nothing to get their point across. If they at least looked professional, I think the ads would of been seen as less of a joke. Just my 2 cents.

Geez Louise, this Nathan Jones is one big boy. I don't think the smaller, bald guy stands much of a chance here. Bah Gawd, Jones is agile for a big man. I wonder if his inexperience will cost him. EDIT --- Holy Moly, is there anything this Jones can't do. Those were some AWESOME bodyslams! I'm surprised red boy's back isn't broken. -
I do remember an episode of SuperStars in 1994 where a kid was ring announcing a Tatanka squash match and was obvioulsy very nervous and flubbed some lines (We'll say a .75 Garcia). Lawler made fun of him until he found out that the kid was Reggie White's son. Reggie was then seen in the front row and Lawler quickly changed his tune. Lawler said the kid could be calling Green Bay Packers games some day. Oh, to answer your question . . . no.

Sting didn't face Austin in that tourney but he did beat him in the 1991 US title tournament. Austin beat Duggan before losing to Savage in the 95 version. They had a match on Saturday Night a week before the brackets were announced. I bremember it being good, but I also remember being deflated after seeing Austin job . . . again. I also loved the Steamboat/Austin match from Clash Aug94. A perfect blowoff to a great wrestling feud. The spot where Austin starts slapping Steamboat and Ricky becoming more and more pissed before finally snapping on Austin still gets me marking out. Unfortunately, it was The Dragon's last match.

What is the funniest TV show ever?

Ah, yes, the finale, widely considered the most disappointing Seinfeld episode ever. But I'll give you this: Seinfeld was genius when it was at its peak. I honestly think the finale is much better in hindsight. And who didn't think to themselves, "Seinfeld . . . Four!!!" when the Asian waiter was talking to Shane last night on Raw? -
Booker will eat a pedigree next week to make up for HHH losing to Goldberg.

Shaker Heights, Ohio is a fairly well-to-do suburb of Cleveland. They've got shopping centers, one way roads, and more buildings. I really can't imagine the WWF using Shaker Heights of all the cities in the U.S. of A. The only way I've ever heard of it is because I live about 10 minutes away from the city . . . but I almost NEVER drive through there because of the confusing roads. Seems like half of them are one way . . . What the Fuck?!? You'll come to a 6 way intersection and see Do Not Enter/One Way signs everywhere. It's the drizzling shits driving through there at night. -
Speaking of ECW on TNN, one of my favorite moments on that show was the segment when Kid Kash defeated Rhino at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Kash went through the mosh pit of ECW wrestlers to get to Rhino and then plancha'ed on all of them. I believe they were all there to protect Paul Heyman after he got gored. Can't really remember. But good stuff from what I could.

There was never one. They just wrestled in every city in America during the house show circuit with Martel winning almost all of them, I would imagine. They had a couple matches on SNME and a CV Exclusive on Hottest Matches. Sadly, Tito won none of those.
