  1. Well this news actually pleases me since I actually get My Network in HD. Granted, few if any of their shows are in HD but we definitely get the digital feed.
  2. Now, I'm really looking forward to March 1st. The good Reverend is releasing his WWF Attitude pack that day. If it's 1/2 as good as his WWF 1988, ECW, and WCW 1998 packs, it'll be killer.
  3. Pretty sure we're on the same page. Don't remember the color of the shirt but I do remember it being like 2 sizes too big for her.
  4. If coming out to a ripoff of Man in the Box doesn't get Colin Delaney fired up, nothing will. Too bad old school Vince wasn't there to announce that last exchange w/ the ejection and nearfall rollup.
  5. Is it just me or was that one long fuckin commercial break?
  6. Anyone else notice that chick dancing to Big John Studd's theme? She looked like she was on the joy juice. Though she was quite hot in a 1980s way.
  7. BUMP . . . My eBay broker finally put up another batch of Coliseum Videos, Columbia House, and Silvervision videos. World Tour, WrestleFest, Best of WWF, Rampage, and Columbia House lots are here. Plus some mid 90s Survivor Series and Silvervision's Best of RAW Volume 1. Wrestling Tapes Definitely worth a peek. Thanks. EDIT --- And it looks like my eBay broker is sick and tired of having all these tapes sitting around as they put up a lot of 72 master Coliseum Videos w/ original boxes. The bid is currently at $10.49 . . . errrrr, I mean $315
  8. "She better stick to wrestling" "Please, like you could do any better" Ventura and Monsoon discussing Rockin Robin's hackjob of America the Beautiful.
  9. I think Santino's mic work has taken quite the dive since forming the tag team w/ Carlito. However, he was fabulous in the weeks building up to the Austin stunner.
  10. I thought Horny was going to blade.
  11. Damn, even Mr Fuckin McMahon is getting a semi-jobber entrance . . . who does he think he is? Kato?
  12. Tomorrow night on ECW in a MITB Qualifying Match . . . Mark Henry vs Nunzio
  13. Alright VAL . . . WWE Champion by the summer.
  14. If they're 1/2way serious about making Mayweather the face, they need to have him dump the entourage.
  15. The only way it can go full circle is if he busts out a rope assisted kip up.
  16. Super Crazy was looking a little pudgier than usual.
  17. I think WMIV gets the bad rap since you see the same wrestlers coming back over and over for largely mediocre matches whereas here, virtually everyone on the roster (sans Koko B Ware) has a singular match. In all fairness, the Harts/Honky & Valentine match had a decent angle behind it w/ Honky clobbering Bret w/ the guitar on SuperStars. I find the Piper's Pit a guilty pleasure. Pritchard's Piper was spot on and Piper constantly yelling "Mishtah Downay, don't blow no mo shmoke in mah face!" made me laugh back in the day and still does. And who would have thought Terry Taylor would retire w/ a WrestleMania victory under his belt? Plus, it was probably Monsoon and Ventura's greatest tandem commentary effort.
  18. It makes sense since it had the Hart/Yokozuna contract signing. A rare angle for Challenge.
  19. In my experience, if you have a slim PS2, you'll be alright. If it's an older model, I wouldn't buy it unless you can return it.
  20. Agreed there. Muraco/DiBiase had another fun match at SNME in the spring of 1988. Surprisingly, it was semi-billed as a #1 Contender's Match IIRC.
  21. I hate this tape and this match is not on it. It has Kerry von Erich vs. The Mountie but mine doesn't. What?!?! There were two World Tour tapes released in 1992. The one w/ Von Erich vs Mountie was "World Tour 92" and also had Savage/Michaels, a battle royal, and gobs more (Also had the same Hart/Martel match as the other vid). It was priced for rental. "Wrestling World Tour" was priced to own ($10ish at the time of release), was an hour, and had the matches Kamala mentioned plus Bushwhackers vs Beverly Brothers from a random ep of Prime Time.
  22. Mayweather wished Mysterio good luck for his title match. Edge beat Mysterio, Show's music hit and he cut a face promo "Happy to be back, I'm ready . . ." He then spotted Mysterio being attended to by trainers. He goozled him and walked him to Mayweather taunting him. In the ring as Show was about to chokeslam Mysterio, Mayweather ran in. Mayweather's camp and WWE staff were there to break it up. Show shoved Mayweather. Mayweather couldn't budge Show. Show got on his knees to mock him and got popped in the shnozz. Show then went after Mayweather who took off. Show went on to trample some fools before Shane McMahon played serious businessman and calmed Show down.
  23. I was rolling my eyes thinking they were trying to recreate Tyson/Austin but the replay wiped that impression from me. The crowd's reaction to the replay was great. I can only guess Show wanted a legit shot to the beak. If there was no blood, that segment might have fallen flat.
  24. GTV in Patterson's hotel room.
  25. Kind of, according to Cawthon's site, Reed did not wrestle at the taping even though he was backstage. Kind of silly to have a 4-5 hour taping and not use one of your guys for anything other than a backstage cameo.
