  2. Well like the other's I'm said to see Bossman pass away. He was one of my favorite heels as a kid. IE I hated him so much that I'd watch so see who could beat him. RIP Bossman. BTW, is anyone else shocked at how old his is? 42? I mean I thought he was at least in his early 50s. Mainly because he's been wrestling for so long.
  3. The book sounds more like Scooby Doo with super heros.

  8. How about Michael Cole's face pressed against a door, squealing, as Heidenreich slams his dick into the back of his pants, as Tazz stands by, saying "Here comes the pain!"? And even better after Tazz says that Brock's music comes on and Heidenreich ass rapes Cole to Brock's old music.
  9. Just a word of advice for you if you do lose your license for a few months. First, whatever friends you have that have a car become the their very best friend because you're going to need them. Give them gas money, buy them drinks, whatever so they'll help you get places. But, try not to bug them for rides to much cause it's going to piss them off always being asked for rides. Learn when the bus runs so you won't always have to bug your friends for rides. I know all the stuff first hand. Not because I've lost my license but, because somehow the the span of a few months I've, more or less, became the only person in my group of friends that hasn't lost his license or car or BOTH for a being such a huge dumbass.
  10. Never said he shouldn't. But, with the way the WWE is now the last thing they need is to pay someone to do nothing cause they've had to much of that in the past.
  11. Yeah, Jamie should avoid the guaranteed money, time to heal and time to spend with his family. He needs to get back to work as immediately as possible. True but, I sometimes see it as something petty from Vince. Like I couldn't make any money off of him so no one else will be for 90 days. I mean I can understand it from your big main eventers but, for you mid carders like Noble and Kanyon it seems like a waste of money. It's not like they were going to make a huge impact the minute they step into a new fed. And it seems like a waste of money to pay someone to sit around when the WWE has to much of it for the past few years.
  12. http://www.theleafchronicle.com/news/stori...ws/1219518.html This mess me up cause this happened in my city. And I think the police owe the man more then an apology. You can damn will bet that the couple is going to sue the police. Edit: Found another article about it. http://www.theleafchronicle.com/news/stori...ws/1229874.html
  13. How much you wanna bet that Jamie has a 90 clause? Which for a midcarder makes no sense. If you're going to let him go just let him go.
  14. Backstage WWE News: Angle/Taker Alliance, McMahon Meets Eddie Over Stress More problems in the Smackdown lockerroom… Vince McMahon has been having one on one meetings with Eddie Guerrero over the last few weeks and months. Guerrero has been having high levels of stress and some believe it is having an adverse effect on his work. Guerrero has been having trouble with moodiness and outbursts in front of fans, and puts a lot of pressure on himself. McMahon tries to reassure Guerrero and doesn’t blame Eddie for Smackdown business numbers being lower than desired. Kurt Angle and the Undertaker have created an alliance of sorts backstage in Smackdown. Angle is being seen less as a leader and one of the boys, and more of a management type. It is said that he and Taker are booking their own storylines with the goal of protecting their spots as 1 and 2 on Smackdown. Credit: PWTorch.com
  15. You know if WWE really wanted to mess with our heads next week they could bring up the fact that at one time Bradshaw, Gangrel, and Mable were all of part of the Ministry Of Darkness that was led by the Undertaker. You know when UT was sporting his Amish look.
  16. Whoa Tiffani and Mario were dating? Didn't know that. So who else in the cast were dating each other or the guest stars?
  17. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5989111/?GT1=5100 ‘Batman’ scales Buckingham Palace wall Fathers' rights protester dressed as caped crusader LONDON - Yes, that was Batman scaling up the front wall of Buckingham Palace on Monday, or at least a protester dressed as the caped crusader. Police, faced with their second major security breach in four months, tried in vain to talk down the cowl-clad protester from Queen Elizabeth’s London residence. Britain's SKY News TV network reported that a second protester dressed as Batman's sidekick, Robin, was arrested before he could follow his costumed cohort. He unveiled a banner saying: “Super Dads of Fathers 4 Justice, fighting for your right to see your kids.” The group believes Britain’s courts are biased against fathers in divorce cases. “There is a protester on the balcony,” a palace spokeswoman said. “It is a matter for the police.” There was no immediate police comment. The royal family is currently away on holiday in Scotland. Previous stunts A spokesman for Fathers 4 Justice identified the protester as Jason Hatch. He repeatedly punched the air in triumph, grinning and waving to growing crowds below. It was the latest in a long line of stunts by the group. Four months ago members of the group attacked Prime Minister Tony Blair in Parliament with condoms filled with colored flour, causing a huge security alert that closed the chamber and prompted immediate changes to access rules for the House of Commons. It heightened fears that lax security could prompt a chemical or biological attack on the British government. The Buckingham Palace protest coincided with the trial of a man accused of involvement in the Blair attack. The man who threw the missiles, Guy Harrison, 36, was fined 600 pounds ($1,080) in May after admitting using threatening behaviour. His alleged accomplice, Patrick Davis, 48, appeared at Bow Street magistrates court on Monday to deny the same charge. Some 20 protesters shouted their support for him outside. Buckingham Palace launched a major review of security after the Daily Mirror newspaper placed an undercover reporter as a palace footman ahead of President Bush’s state visit to Britain in November last year. The Associated Press and Reuters contributed to this report.

  22. House Votes to Block New Overtime Rules 1 hour, 11 minutes ago Add Politics - U. S. Congress to My Yahoo! By JIM ABRAMS, Associated Press Writer WASHINGTON - In a sharp rebuke of a new administration policy, the House moved Thursday to block the Labor Department (news - web sites) from carrying out overtime rules that critics argued could deprive millions of workers of their overtime pay. The 223-193 vote in favor of blocking the rules defied the White House. A threatened veto applied to a massive spending bill, now on the House floor, if it contains any language tampering with the rules that took effect Aug. 23. "This is one step in the legislative process. We are continuing to work with the Congress," said Trent Duffy, a spokesman for President Bush (news - web sites). Democrats, united against the rules, were joined by 22 Republicans in voting for the amendment to a $142.5 billion health and education spending bill. The vote was Bush's second election-season defeat in Congress in two days. On Wednesday the Senate disregarded a White House veto threat and voted to prohibit Bush from giving federal immigration jobs to private workers. "The administration has chosen this time to institute new regulations which for the first time in 80 years scale back workers' entitlement to overtime pay," said Rep. David Obey (news, bio, voting record), D-Wis., a sponsor of the overtime proposal. Democrats sought to depict the issue as an election-season example of the Bush administration's insensitivity to worker rights, saying the overtime privileges of up to 6 million workers were at risk. "This is the place where making ends meet happens because people have overtime pay. Republicans cannot grasp that," said House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi of California. Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites) said the veto threat is "the latest evidence of how dead wrong the Bush administration is when it comes to meeting the needs of America's struggling middle class." The White House and most Republicans insisted the rules would update an antiquated overtime pay system and make an additional 1 million lower-paid workers eligible for overtime. "I do think that the clarity that comes with these new rules will help better protect American workers," said Rep. John Boehner (news, bio, voting record), R-Ohio, chairman of the House Education and the Workforce Committee. It was unclear how much impact the House vote would have on the biggest overhaul of overtime regulations in more than half a century. The Senate has yet to take up the health and education bill. House GOP Whip Roy Blunt, R-Mo., said he expected that the provision would be removed when the House and Senate meet to work out the final version of the bill. He said that by that time there will be "overwhelming evidence" that the rules are benefiting tens of thousands of workers. Republican Rep. Steven LaTourette (news, bio, voting record) of Ohio, who voted for the amendment, suggested there was a middle ground. "I would hope this vote, taken together with some votes in the Senate, will let the administration say, `Well, wait a minute, let's go back and revisit this case.'" Democrats and pro-labor Republicans have fought for more than a year to stop the Labor Department from going ahead with the proposed rules. The administration said they were needed to adjust to changing working conditions and clear up confusion that has led to lawsuits against employers. "For those who receive overtime it's as high as 20 or 25 percent of their income," said Rep. George Miller (news, bio, voting record), D-Calif., co-sponsor of the provision with Obey. "It's the largest government-imposed pay cut in the history of this country." The AFL-CIO, which has lobbied against the new rules, said the 6 million workers facing weakened overtime protections include foremen and assistant managers, nurses, workers in the financial services industry, journalists and others who do small amounts of administrative work. The department said 1.3 million workers who earn less than $23,660 a year would become eligible, while about 107,000 white-collar workers making $100,000 or more could lose eligibility. The department said the amendment would put the overtime rights of millions in jeopardy because the government could no longer protect those making more than $23,660. "Especially hard-hit are police, firefighters, construction workers and others whose overtime rights were explicitly guaranteed for the first time in the new rules," said Alfred B. Robinson, Jr., acting administrator for the Wage and Hour Division. In May, the Senate, by a 52-47 vote on a different bill, approved language stating that no worker who currently qualifies for overtime should lose that eligibility. The Obey-Miller language blocks all aspects of the rules except those that extend overtime to lower-paid workers.
  23. http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/n...ple_ritter_dc_3 Family of John Ritter Sues Over Actor's Death Thu Sep 9, 6:23 PM ET LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The wife and daughter of actor John Ritter, who collapsed and died suddenly of heart problems a year ago, have sued the hospital where he was treated, claiming that doctors misdiagnosed his condition. Ritter, 54, collapsed on the set of his series "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Daughter" on Sept. 12 last year and died the same day in a Burbank hospital across from the studio where he had been working. The cause of death was given as a tearing of a major coronary artery stemming from a condition he never knew he had. Ritter's wife Amy Yasbeck and their four children filed a wrongful death and medical malpractice suit on Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court alleging that hospital doctors "caused the untimely death ... by misdiagnosing his condition and as a consequence, failing to provide proper treatment in connection with an ascending aortic aneurysm that would have saved his life." The lawsuit says that Ritter was initially diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction and then with pericardial tamponade. He actually had a large ascending aortic aneurysm. Yasbeck and her children are asking for unspecified general damages, wrongful death damages, medical expenses and funeral expenses. The hospital, Providence St Joseph Medical Center, said in a statement that it was premature to comment on the suit. "When Mr Ritter was originally admitted to our hospital, his family asked that no information on his illness be released by the hospital. We will continue to honor this request. We extend our deepest and most sincere sympathy to the Ritter family for their loss," the hospital added. Ritter was best known for his portrayal of Jack Tripper in the 1970s sitcom "Three's Company." He was also a frequent guest star on television shows and a performer on Broadway.

  25. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...vision_janet_dc FCC to Fine CBS Stations $550,000 Over Jackson Tue Sep 7, 7:16 PM ET Add Entertainment - Reuters to My Yahoo! By Jeremy Pelofsky WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Pop singer Janet Jackson (news)'s bare breast flash earlier this year will result in a record $550,000 fine for 20 CBS television stations, U.S. Federal Communications Commission (news - web sites) officials said on Tuesday. The five FCC (news - web sites) commissioners have voted to accept a staff recommendation to fine the 20 television stations that CBS owns $27,500 each but let the remaining 200-plus CBS affiliates escape penalty, according to the officials, who declined to be identified. The commissioners' voting was completed last week. Jackson caused a stir in February when fellow singer Justin Timberlake (news) ripped part of her costume exposing her breast during the halftime show of the U.S. Super Bowl championship football game that aired on CBS in February. After an enormous outcry from lawmakers and parents' groups, the FCC launched a probe into whether federal decency regulations were violated and began a crackdown on other sexually explicit antics on television and radio. The FCC was unanimous in voting to fine the 20 stations owned by CBS, which is a unit of media conglomerate Viacom Inc., but at least one FCC commissioner questioned letting the other stations that aired the show off the hook. Although the commissioners have finished voting on their decision, it will not be formally announced for several days while the commissioners finish writing their public statements, the FCC officials said. FCC spokesman Richard Diamond declined to comment. "We would be extremely disappointed in such a ruling," said CBS spokesman Dana McClintock. "While we regret that the incident occurred and have apologized to our viewers, we continue to believe that nothing in the Super Bowl broadcast violated indecency laws." In addition to owning CBS, Viacom also owns the MTV cable network which produced the now-controversial halftime show. But the FCC is only authorized to apply decency rules to broadcast stations. CBS and MTV have said they did not know in advance of the singers' stunt, but parents groups have said the incident could have been kept off the air if the network had implemented a tape delay system. U.S. regulations bar television and radio stations from airing obscene material and also limit showing indecent material to late night hours when children are less likely to be watching or listening. FCC staff recommended in June that the 20 television stations owned by CBS receive the maximum fine of $27,500 each, which a senior FCC official said was a record for one incident when added up, but the staff did not urge a financial penalty for the other stations. Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein, a Democrat, questioned why the agency did not address all the stations that aired the show, according to one official. Reuters/VNU
