Or I don't find unfortunate genetic arrangements (or accidents, or whatever else may render someone handicapped) funny. It's really no better than being a racist in my mind, since this is far more often than not something over which the person has no control. The exception to this would be something like a guy being rendered an invalid due to a drunk driving accident or some shit, and even then it's not something to laugh about. I think we're all forgetting (in light of this latest newsbit) how fucked up in the head wrestlers are, as well as how fucked up the whole business is. If you take all the knowledge of depravity and bullshit about professional wrestling that you, the reader, have in your head, does this really sound implausible?

I don't get the Finlay love. Where did it come from? Since when is Finlay a great wrestler? I haven't watched him in WWE (and don't intend to, really) but in WCW, did he have one single good match with someone not named Benoit? Who doesn't have good matches with Benoit? He had the kind of negative chemistry in the ring that even made matches with Ultimo Dragon and Bret Hart boring as hell. I always used to wonder why they kept Finlay around. He put the crowds to sleep, net fans called all of his matches dull, he was just an extremely boring guy to watch. Eight letters will tell you where this Finlay love came from: OMG STIFF I'm a much bigger fan of his character than his actual ringwork.

I've noticed that I generally don't like the episodes that most fans do. Laserblast was good, but doesn't hold up well on repeat viewings for me. Right now on the stream they're showing Being From Another Planet, which I love the hell out of but like others that are my favorites it's considered a middle-of-the-road episode. Some choice gags: "Ladies and gentlemen, the Black Moses of Soul." "Two scoops of raisins my ass." Doctor: Do not x-ray Ellen Winters! Everyone: Doodliedoodliedoodlie...!
