Haha, see?

I shoulda known. Did Ebell even play tonight? I just go on these less prominent schools based on a couple of times I see them, to be honest. Probably should have picked the MAC champions even if the conference is down.

Hey Milky, where did you get that from I wonder.

I think my perception is warped by being downtown most of the time for the last three years. Work and school in the same area, and most of my friends now too. Since I've been 21 I haven't gone to any of the places outside of downtown. It's the best place overall, but each different part of Charleston has a different personality. Charleston!: Downtown: Most hustling-n'-bustling as an area on a small peninsula of 55,000 can get. Separated by the crosstown route of Highway 17 and beginning of I-26, as well as the junctures with Mount Pleasant and James Island. It's a real big division akin to people who were above sea level and those below it in New Orleans. Upper peninsula is an urban wasteland that's improving a great deal thanks to the new bridge having exits that come off farther north. Still pretty poor and depressing. The Citadel resides in this area, as does the police station and some college students thanks to pretty cheap rent on big houses. Burke High School has repeatedly been a problem place. Now then, south of the crosstown is where all the hospitals and higher learning institutions are located, as well as all of the tourist attractions and the oldest parts of town. It's the ideal Charleston, and is generally what people mean when they say "downtown." South of Broad Street is the hyper-rich oldest part of town, where you see supercars under tarps and multi-million dollar homes. James Island (where I live, and labelled as Charleston for some reason): A blend of aspiring urban nouveau riche, white trash hickery, and island/beach attitudes. I love this place, and among the parts of town it's a pretty highly regarded place. Not the best, not the worst, but closer to best. Think Georgia in the SEC. It's such an insane blend of stuff that you really don't feel like you're missing much by leaving. Place has got all the basic necessities so that there's really no need to leave. And that's good. Folly Beach: The beach element of James Island and one of two competing beaches on either side of the harbor. Extremely laid back beach town, more of the bums, bikers, and fishers variety than the overdeveloped tourist shithole variety. Isle of Palms: The overdeveloped tourist shithole variety. Always has been, even as early as the 20s. Sullivan's Island: The pastoral coastal town, an extension of Mt. Pleasant, the pastoral suburban town. Mt. Pleasant: The epitome of suburban sprawl. Yuppies and the people from the north area who work for them. Summerville: The other side of the fuckin' planet; the farthest-out place I'd call part of Charleston's greater area. Here's where your rednecks come into play and all of the NASCAR bumper sticker stereotypes and the like come into play. North Charleston/Goose Creek: Urban decay and the location of most of our major chains thanks to low land values. Your Best Buy, Hooters, whatever. Nationally marketed stuff is here, as are our only two 24-hour Wal Marts. Sadly, it's where the really good mall is. Both the worst of country and urban folk are up there. Rampant small-to-big time crime and modified cars. West Ashley (centered around where that little 17 is): A place that's just kinda there. Yeah, it's got all the stuff like the north area does, but is directly connected to downtown so it gets a slightly more refined air. Lots of otherwise uninteresting and commercially useless land has lead to it becoming the place for young professionals to live, in increasingly distant subdivisions. Inbetween the subdivisions and downtown lies a veneer of commercial vibrance that turns to self-perpetuating poverty the moment you go a couple of blocks off the main highways/thoroughfares. John's Island (the large island with sparse development next to James Island): "John's Island - Rural Forever" trumpet bumper stickers of people who live over there. That should tell you a good bit. Home of the private airport simply because it's the second largest island on the east coast after Long Island, it's home of the redneck influence on James Island, secret Klan meetings under the cover of darkness, and voodoo groups that kill as many as 200 cows in a night's ritual. It's a wilderness, our own personal Veldt stacked to the gills with people who speak with a twang and have horny jailbait daughters. Seabrook Island/Kiawah Island: Where the people who profit from John's Island's land in one way or another and the hyper-rich who don't want to live in crowded downtown live. Kiawah is an island that requires your car to have a special sticker. I keyed these cars whenever I saw them in parking lots when I worked at the Harris Teeter on James Island. Kiawah is a solid 30-40 minute drive from James Island, so the idea that people went that far because their Piggly Wiggly wasn't good enough for them was intolerable to my angsty teenage self.

No. This is an excuse by them. It's a perfectly accurate name that is recognized as so bad that even their listeners avoid using it at all costs, by disguising it using other, more amicable terms. Then the music starts and it's THE SAME SHIT.
-
... and? I should note that by "Charleston," I mean the coastal area. Go ten, fifteen miles inland and it's frightening.
-
Well, it is only the fourth annual, but I guess "ever" is appropriate for a pro wrestling forum. Dude, coming from someone who likes a team that helps spell Citrus, it annoys the hell out of me when a team keeps going to the same bowl over and over again. Three years straight is kind of monotonous.

Tyler Ebell is a nasty little mofo. I'd love to see him go crazy tonight.

I'll do a college football one, since that's all I could really say I saw a lot of this year. 5--> Tennessee/Alabama: My personal favorite game that happened to be pretty damn good too, so it gets on the list. Tennessee goes into Tuscaloosa for the first time since Phillip Fulmer because public enemy #1 (that isn't Auburn), and after their last visit resulted in a five overtime game that silenced the 80,000+ at Bryant-Denny when Tennessee pulled off a win that was supposed to be a sure thing. Now Alabama's the juggernaut again, and Tennessee's season was falling apart. Still, the two teams matched up well, too well in fact. In a game that you could have sworn was played in 1930, Alabama wins 6-3 when Tennessee fumbles two sure touchdowns inside the Alabama five yard line. The entire game was a defensive standoff to the letter, hard-hitting and mean-spirited as well. Alabama spent the whole season generally getting revenge on teams that had had their way with them over the last few years, and Tennessee was out to prove they were as good as their #4 preseason ranking said they were. Hell of an old, southern-fried football game. The rest are in no particular order: 3: Fresno State/USC 4: Texas/Ohio State 1: USC/Notre Dame 2: Vanderbilt/Florida (yeah, I said it, and you'd all say it too if Vanderbilt hadn't been robbed)

Okay, so I honestly didn't notice the National Socialist part as I started reading all that until I saw the two words typed on their own. ...am I bad if I agree with any percentage of the stuff there?
-
Yo, you're retarded if you don't think Charleston doesn't have a HUGE percentage of attractive women/unattractive women advantage.
-
And you wonder why I fucked with your post count and subtitle.

SmartHelmet: That isn't a jab at your Republican buddies, is it? Kyliejunge: No? Kyliejunge: Oh yeah. SmartHelmet: the Pit Kyliejunge: Oops, forgot about that. Kyliejunge: I meant the Wu-Tang song. Kyliejunge: It'd be a cool way of saying it's where we go and scrap with our words, figuratively.
-
Call it the Gravel Pit. Seriously.

Yeah, that's the point. The show is so bad these days they really can't insult others anymore without looking extremely pathetic. It's reaching the point where bad seasons are outnumbering good seasons. Glass houses, man.

Well, how do you? Oh yeah, nevermind. You're jealous because I'm better looking than you. Why not? Are you saying that the millions of Astroboy fans in Japan can't give advice on relationships? I guess nobody over there has ever had a relationship before. Hmm, I wonder how they reproduce. Maybe if you ever stopped to watch the show you would realise how thought provoking it is and how it makes you not only a better person but a smarter person as well. More than smart enough to give relationship advice. I can judge beauty. In fact, because I'm an exercise addict it has helped up my obsession with doing so. Just because you've been lonely your whole life doesn't mean you can't judge the beauty of the female form. In fact, being lonely actually makes you a better judge because you're always looking. "I have no room to insult others"-type topics you've started in LSD alone: http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?showtopic=72448 http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?showtopic=72661 http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?showtopic=71977 http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?showtopic=73841 << "Kissing FAQ - in case that time ever comes." And from the first post... ...the hell? http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?showtopic=65101 Use the thumb technique, young Pegasus! And that only took a few minutes. I'd probably hit the character limit if I posted all the indicators you've given us that you're an utterly inept sociopath whose true depths of pathos would render the entire Oxford English Dictionary commission completely speechless. As a final tidbit, your not-even-in-the-same-galaxy theory on sex: WAIST TO HIP RATIO.

It's kinda hard to discuss a show like this, without storylines or the usual stuff involved.
-
On another more personal note, I'm not too negative about how bad the product is. Now, if I were one of the people who posted rant after rant saying how terrible it was and continued watching, that'd be different. I'm too easily entertained and don't get worked up over it unless it's something positive, I guess.

I'm not up on my pop culture beefs. Someone wanna elaborate here? Last weeks episode of the Simpsons had Sideshow Bob as a mayor of an italian village, and he never told the villagers that he was a criminal. At the end of the episode, the Village police were looking through a book of criminals and they happened upon: Picture of Peter Griffin :"Plagiarismo" and Picture of Stan Smith: "Plagiarismo de Plagiarismo" You think they'd take the high road these days.

HEY GUYS I'M NOT SURE IF THAT MUSIC ROCKED MAYBE SOMEONE COULD CLARIFY IT FOR ME

All I said there was that it was silly to make it sound like gun ownership is some inalienable right on par with life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It's also pretty inarguable that the world would be a better place without firearms.
-
Hey, it's attaching a successful franchise name to an inferior product. Happens all the time, because SOME people fall for it each time.

The Spirit Squad (Ken Doane) - Coming to RAW?

Why don't you save yourself the typing effort and let people enjoy the programs? This thread is probably a cumulative amount of an half-hour or so you could be spending doing something else! Not like Sunday nights are huge social evenings or anything, and the shows sucking are always covered up by the awesome group of people who show up every month at the place for the shows. A good show is made even better by the crowd. The couple of times non-fans have come with me they admitted they had a blast even though the PPV sucked.

What's up with these pictures, anyway? There's at least one other I've seen someone post on this board like that. They're older pictures, since he isn't all tattooed up, possibly during his AWOL vacation? Randy just seems to love being photographed whilst 95% nude. Then again, were I him, I would too.
