Okay assuming "Step Up" is the WM XX theme
Art Sandusky replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in The WWE Folder
I wish Freddie Blassie had survived to be able to do the intro for Wrestlemania XX, that would have been the one show where his presence would have been truly appropriate. I remember the pop he got at MSG at the 2000 Royal Rumble. Hopefully they won't go the "O Fortuna" route and keep it sort of somber and orchestral, like the XVII intro. As for the song, use it for Angle/Guererro. Use the techno remix of Barber's "Adagio for Strings" for the main event. ... okay, so that won't happen. -
Me? A dick? NEVER~ (damn, when you've got Triple R over here calling you a dick, you know you've done something right) Either way, this thread is at the bottom of the forums, IT'S IN MY WORLD NOW!

The ONE and ONLY WM's 10 Greatest Matches Thread
Art Sandusky replied to BifEverchad's topic in The WWE Folder
But it isn't like he's acting any differently. I don't like to think about it, but maybe the abuse wrestling is catching up to him and that's what's making him slur words, as if he's got a permanent semi-concussion. We already know he's not very mobile, and even less so now that he's losing feeling in extremities. That would account for any stumbling. What I want to think is that he just gets so excited that he can't talk correctly. That happens when you become a more and more exaggerated version of yourself. Eventually he'll just yell random syllables and strut so gaily that he walks backwards. -
Surely they meant to move it to Classic Threads instead of HD. I'll PM a moderator and have the situation rectified IMMEDIATELY~!

Wow, what great evidence. Seriously, you aren't telling me anything that would indicate that he is. EDIT: Rico, I'd be better off buying the Wrestlemania XIII tape, since NO video stores around here have anything in the way of wrestling videos/DVDs. -
You need to learn the virtues of pop. It'll change your life.

That's what it looks like to me too. Just sell the fucker if you don't like anything about it or for it. I'd throw recommendations out, but you don't strike me as a sports/racing game guy.

I know it doesn't shock anyone, but I love both of those songs.

Yeah, he meant it much more literally (and he said it about himself), while Favre is called a warrior in the figurative sense, and he's smart enough to not call himself something like that. HAIL

Hey look, it's another "classic" thread.

Buffet Beatdown would be a neat band name.

Hayes was the MAN when I was a kid, as far as I was concerned. He made shit sound important by just being the British guy. I watch some old tapes with him on it and love hearing how he makes WWF matches sound like a prize fight or something.

All that was really left was for Vader to call Xixor a "punk-ass bitch," but sadly, such profanities don't exist in the Star Wars universe... ... even though they've maintained the rest of the English vocabulary.

I don't get the "Choken never posts anything of substance" talk. From what I see in the WWE folder, he's not bad at all.

I hope so. I wasn't about to miss my Real World and Pimp My Ride. Well, that and I forgot this was on. -
DJ Mystic -- "Hey Raver." I like the little kiddie military drum and flute at the beginning, and the entire piece is nice and light-hearted. Kylie Minogue -- "Slow (Mantronix Mix)." Best remix I've come across so far. Kylie Minogue -- "Promises." The sleeper song on Body Language. Happy End -- "Kaze Wo Atsumete." Found this on the Lost in Translation soundtrack. A pleasant departure from a very depressing (but still very good) soundtrack.

Damn Spoon your taste in music rocks. But wasn't it Mousse T that did "I'm Horny"? Best club tracks from the year 2000? I bet Kotz saw that commercial for that cd by Razor & Tie then decided to dl all of the tracks. And I think Daft Phunk did "Around the World" you need to get Effiel 66 "I'm Blue" Mousse T did do "I'm Horny," but when I glanced at my playlist, I saw Madison Avenue right above it and messed up. This "Around the World" is different, hence the (La Da Da). You're quite correct, I saw the commercial for "Fired Up!" and decided to download what I didn't already have of the album. Those five tracks were it, I had everything else already. If only they let ME put together one of those Party CDs... EDIT: For the hell of it, my latest five as of this post... Koda Kumi -- "Real Emotion (English version)" [you know, the FF X-2 commercial song that everyone here loves so much] Brady Bunch -- "Time to Change" Brady Bunch -- "Keep On (Groovin')" Brady Bunch -- "Sunshiny Day" Davy Jones -- "Girl" I went on a nostalgia kick, sue me.

Fuck the haters. I can't wait for this.

10. Angle / Benoit Sure, why not. As a #10, completely inoffensive. 9. Hogan / Warrior Deserving. 8. Austin / Michaels Deserving as well, but I might have put it at #5. 7. Hogan-Mr. T / Piper-Orndoff Surprised they didn't make this #1. As high as this match should ever go on ANY top ten list. 6. Austin / Hart I still haven't seen this match, can't comment. 5. Rock / Hogan This should have been around #7 or #8. Not as significant as they'd like you to believe. 4. Savage / Steamboat Top 3 match, not 4. 3. Michaels / Ramon No issue here. 2. Triangle Ladder Match Better than any after it (especially the shitty clusterfuck that was TLC II), but really shouldn't have been on this list with another ladder match. This kind of funky choice leads me to think that this really was a wrestler's choice show. 1. Michaels / Hart It would be top three regardless, so why not. I don't think it's underrated, I just don't enjoy it nearly as much as my favorite Wrestlemania match ever, Rock/Austin from XVII, which should have been represented on this show somehow. And once again, I don't understand why what used to be called Flair's "crazy old man" routine is now called Flair's "drunk old man" routine. I don't see anything that would suggest that he's drunk and not just being his usual self, unless he's always been drunk on camera during his career. If you're going to pick on him, just keep saying for him to retire. At least you don't have to make that up. -
Yes, just ignore when the original post was made... Actually, I think we should start a running gag where we keep telling you to shorten your sig a la the Mattingly sideburns thing. That said... Your sig is STILL TOO BIG.

Am I the only guy here who expects the Triple Threat to be really good?

Why is "He likes Orton" a zing?
