  1. Holy crap, I did. And I was sober too.
  2. Oh, and Snuffy needs to get over the SEC hype. It's warranted. Every mofo in this thread will eat their words when Florida beats Ohio State.
  3. Our program is very excited to have its first bowl win and looks forward to the campaign next season. The theme? "Unfinished Business."
  4. The ending of this game had my nerd-ass friends completely absorbed. They were out having a cigarette when the hook and ladder play went down and said they could hear me down the hallway of the building. They had no problem whatsoever watching the rest of it after they saw the replay. That's the fuckin' definition of "you play the games on the field," okay. I missed the post-game stuff, but it sounds as magical as the 4th quarter-into-overtime sequence was. Give Oklahoma credit. They were up to the task, but seemed too used to playing the traditional powerhouses who don't have a sack the size of THE ENTIRE MOUNTAIN TIME ZONE. It's magnificent to see the mid-major that's been pimped for the last several years get their shot and make the most of it in spectacular fashion.
  5. Seeing Michigan getting handled a little with a quarter to go makes the Tennessee loss earlier not so bad. Maybe Big Blue will finally shut up about the INJUSTICE~ dealt to them.
  6. Pardon us Americans, we're sorta desensitized.
  7. Yeah, you lost pretty bad.
  8. That makes it a depressing holiday. If you really want to change something about your life, you'll just do it whenever. Because you want to. If you only want to do it when the new year comes around, then you'll most likely fail because you're only doing it because another year has gone by... and you'll beat yourself down more when the next year comes and you see you've failed with your goals. I set different goals for myself whenever. I look at a new year's resolution as a goal that just happens to be set on the first day of the year. 'sides, without the institution of resolutions, it would be a strictly numerological holiday, something humans don't do. We need something, anything attached to it besides a ripping good hangover on January 1st.
  9. Has no one mentioned "Bossy" yet? That wins in a walk. If you haven't heard it, feel blessed.
  10. Not really, this is the first time I've made a resolution that'll take time. I wanted a project.
  11. WWE should be sued for even having Vince's ass on television in the first place, let alone a web cartoon.
  12. I'd like to graduate college first.
  13. Tee Hee I've just gotta quote this again. And again.
  14. I forgot I made this thread. In the last month I've downloaded Superman: Birthright and the entire Batman Catalcysm/No Man's Land story arc. I also bought the Superman/Batman Absolute Power collection, and the Crisis on Infinite Earths compendium. No Man's Land got me into this stuff big-time, since it was something totally realistic in terms of a destroyed city and people scraping by for simple day-to-day survival. It took me a few years after this thread, but I did ultimately get into comics.
  15. I miss New York so much.
  16. True, but it gives a degree of real purpose to the holiday. Mine is 5,000 pushups and 10,000 situps by March 1st. The backup is to travel to Arizona and meet Leeners.
  17. Tee Hee I've just gotta quote this again.
  18. Cars ruled. I went out and saw it at the theater. Having the Italian tire shop owner who was obsessed with Ferrari was worth the price of admission.
  19. First post of 2007! Now I can go out and get wasted.
  20. The biggest shame is that Chicago destroyed the team that got into the playoffs over Green Bay.
  21. Who here actually followed through on their resolutions, and what are your new ones that you'll also fail to keep?
  22. Tee Hee 23-0 going into the half. Tee Hee. EDIT: Yes, yes, boo your team Chicago. #1 SEED BAYBEE
  23. I think the houses in my neighborhood have spent a collective $8,000,000 on fireworks. It's been a nonstop flurry of pops and rocket whistles since 6pm.
  24. HAHA Since then, he's produced a pick-six and fumbled a snap. And a big 30+ yard pass by Favre. This game rules. EDIT: Except Tim Rayner. A missed extra point and a missed field goal so far. It should be 17-0, dammit.
  25. I stand by it, and you're entrusting your team to a Florida-produced quarterback.
