  1. Relay some messages through SpiderPoet (via Jesus) sometime. Oh wait, you're going to hell for killing yourself... okay wait, I've got it; you can still go through Satan - get him to talk to SP again, but make sure SP doesn't call on the Holy Power of the Most High Name before Satan can finish. Tell Satan to take a peace sign or something with him.
  2. Could be said of pretty much all of your posts. (Don't tell me you didn't see that one coming...)
  3. Given your usual whimpering, snivelling "It's not my fault! I made a mistake! So I'm not perfect! Don't blame me! I did what I'm criticising before I criticised you for doing the same thing so it doesn't count! It was someone else's shoddy work! I was deceived! I was just joking!" tone, I think it'd be more appropriate for you to ask if you could have mine. Honestly, Tyler, it's pretty sad when a homosexual femme girl can look several times more like a man than you. Jesus, it's embarrassing just to read your whiny posts. I can't even imagine how pathetic you must feel typing them.
  4. I didn't hear George W. Bush quickly denounce the speakings of the RNC, did you? You're a born straight-man, Tyler. Really, you should look into some sort of career in a knockabout cross-talk act... you picked something the column already addressed. But then, you didn't read it, did you? Hmm, what were we talking about in that other thread a short while ago? Oh yes, hypocrisy. NB. Post above quoted in entirety because of Tyler's tendency to edit out his mistakes after he's called on them.
  5. - A Real War by Victor Davis Hanson An excellent (if somewhat optimistic: "the onset of democracy in India, Malaysia, and Indonesia suggested that Islam was not incompatible with consensual government") analysis of the origins of militant Islamic fascism, its goals, its motivations, and how to end it once and for all. The full article is pretty long, but it's a good read and well worth the time.
  6. - The Last Refuge of the Democrats by Fred Barnes A very well-focused and neatly-written piece. Any Democrats want to quote, verbatim, a speech or address in which the President accused anyone of being "unpatriotic?"
  7. Yes, precisely. She's not very virtuous around me; that's why I married her. She's a lot better-looking and much, much smarter. I'm just more twisted.
  8. Abnormal/criminal profiling. Mulderworld.
  9. Is there any way to get Google (or any other engine) to run through the old threads? We've tried the standard site:forums.thesmartmarks.com thing but it doesn't work, and the Invision board search is too slow for my wife. I just use the board form and go do something else while it does its thing, but she's too impatient for that, and she wants to use some of my old posts for her school papers. Thanks to anyone who can help.
  10. Dammit Mike, you could've at least left me something to mop up.
  11. As a psychologist myself, I have to agree. I haven't done any scientific polls, but I feel safe saying that at least 98% of my fellow professionals are complete wastes of skin. Indeed. They're so caught up with their pretensions to ultimate moral authority (to disguise their rampant collective inferiority complex about the status of psychology as a discipline) that they lose sight of common sense somewhere along the way. Someone tortures and kills someone else, you don't "treat" him. You don't "rehabilitate" him. You don't even try. You kill him. Whether or not he can be redeemed is something for God to decide.
  12. Honestly, learn to quit before you say anything that concrete. Because whenever you do, if you lie (which seems to be practically guaranteed), I'll hand you your head. Colin Powell to step down as Sec'y of State - a Washington Post article which was pure speculation both then and now bin Laden Issues Support for Iraq - in which you implied that the President had faked an al-Qaeda tape "Sleeper" Terrorist Cell Arrested in Buffalo - in which you tried to claim that the "Buffalo Six" were innocent stooges (all six have since pled guilty) Yet another example of the "liberal media" - in which you tried to defend Cynthia McKinney based on an article which was bullshit from beginning to end War? Hmph. - and this gem, in which all you posted was "Good God, ya'll. What is it good for?" Well, that was profound. Thanks for your relentless War On Fluff, Tyler. We all owe you a debt of gratitude. And let's not forget your incessant harping on the Joe Wilson crap in countless threads, stating that the administration deliberately and maliciously leaked secret information despite the lack of any proof whatsoever, or the "American citizens are being executed by military tribunals" fiasco. Anyway, here's Dean's response in full: So yeah, he skewed McKinney's original accusation and spun it a bit to make it (technically) a hypothetical, but his language was clearly chosen to offer the "theory" at face value. Irrelevant. It's on topic. This is a forum for politics, commentaries, and the (significant) events of the day, and political speculation belongs in here. It doesn't matter whether a thread generates two replies or two hundred. Well, no. I posted one single directly on-topic reply in the Reagan movie thread, and that was just a few excerpts from a column pointing out the factual misrepresentations (or as we right-wingers like to call them, "lies") perpetuated by the movie. Well, again, no. I merely pointed out that you aren't averse to speculative pieces when you like the speculation. It's only because your lips are firmly wrapped around Howard Dean's cock that you took exception to this one. First of all, I'm not your "sweetheart." Second, I believe it's obvious that your monopoly is still quite secure.
  13. Which word did you not understand, son?
  14. I think it's worth it to watch you exPLODE in RAGE~!, as EL BRUJ0 might put it. Seriously, "fluff" refers to crap like "Man puts own penis in blender," not political speculation. The fact that you're having kittens over this is rather comical given that you've posted columns raising the possibility of a military draft. It's not because it's speculative, is it? It's just because you don't agree with it. I'd point out yet again that you're a hypocrite but it really isn't worth it anymore. You've been called on your lies, your backsliding, and your double standards so often that it's actually astounding when you manage to make an only moderately implausible point.
  15. Any PROOF of this? 4x07 Musings of a Cigarette-Smoking Man It's all there on film, Mike. Jeez, open your mind...
  16. Economic Left/Right: 6.75 Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.46 Huh. I'm still in Milton Friedman's quadrant, but only barely; a little over a year ago, my scores were 4.50/-3.64.

    Apology

No. "Indivisible" shouldn't be there either: "WE the Delegates of the people of Virginia... DO in the name and in behalf of the people of Virginia, declare and make known that the powers granted under the Constitution, being derived from the people of the United States may be resumed by them whensoever the same shall be perverted to their injury or oppression, and that every power not granted thereby remains with them and at their will" (Commonwealth of Virginia's ratification of the Constitution of the United States, qv). And the original Pledge is to "my Flag," not "the flag of the United States of America."
  18. Back to the original topic: - The Big AIDS Lie by Deroy Murdock
  19. Next saturday I'm gonna do it!!!
  20. Wow, we're down to #2. Someone commit a felony... ah, there we go.
  21. I think anyone who crosses his arms over his chest, leans back and to the side, and scowls down at a movie camera while wearing my annual salary in diamonds with clothes I'd refuse to be cremated in has given up all rights to that term.
  22. All y'all coloured people, you darkies, that have the audacity to mangle the King's English until I do declare it's barely recognisable... it was a joke... oh, nevermind.
  23. See, it's because you people use words like "wit" as a preposition that you shouldn't be allowed in decent society.
  24. Amusingly enough, despite FBP's attempt to take a flying leap onto Anorak's usual bandwagon, the only real racist in this story seems to have been the dead criminal himself. "The tape resumes rolling at 6 a.m. An officer is heard saying to Jones, "You gotta tell me what's going on." Jones then says, 'White boy, redneck,' and the camera shows him lunge at the officer and attempt to put him in a headlock." - CNN story Emphases mine: the boldfaced text establishes racism, and the italicised text establishes that he committed a crime. The coroner's report, of course, establishes that he committed at least two more. Put that in your NAACP-approved pipe and smoke it, boys. "Smoke it?" Gracious, was that a veiled reference to a burning cross? Or maybe black drug abuse (oh yes, orchestrated by the CIA, as Brian kindly informed us - I sometimes wish we had that kind of time) or possibly a subconscious hope that those awful coloured people would all just die of cancer? Jesus. Here's a quarter; go buy a better cause.
  25. So, at 12, a child's mind starts functioning as an adult's. Got it. Now why is the drinking age 21, the age of consent anywhere between 14 to 18, and the age for military service and criminal responsibility 18? Let's make them all 12. I mean you have no problems with killing 12 year-olds pointing firearms at our soldiers, right? You must be advocating the deaths of all 12 year-olds! Break out the howitzers! Twit. How is this relevant? Point a gun at our soldiers and you will be shot and in all probability you will die. What you MIGHT do if you don't die is entirely besides the point. Lots of suicide bombers were architects, engineers, and doctors. They might have designed, built, or served in hospitals and saved other people's lives. Instead, they chose to take them. That 7 year-old might have become a doctor himself - and, thanks to the admirable restraint of our soldiers, he might still. (But he'll never be a soccer player - convene the court-martial now!) However, he chose to attack our soldiers, and I would have shed no tears had he been shot and killed. He wasn't. That's a great mercy, to him, and to our soldiers' consciences. But it's not a mercy that the child deserved.
