I believe that was his ending for the 64 version as well. I felt the endings in N64 version were a tad disappointing. I always liked reading what happend to them in the other versions of MK, it would of been great to actually see it happen in 64-bit glory, rather than just have a few seconds dedicated to each character.

All this dang Mortal Kombat talk has got me so nostalgic that I fired up the old Sega Megadrive this morning and played Mortal Kombat I for the first time in *years*. I'd forgotten how fucking catchy the opening theme is, not to mention how awesome the game has remained after all these years. He had just broken up with his long-term girlfriend and was finding it hard to comprehend life without her, and obviously he figured he could not go on any longer. I'd like to consider myself pretty tough to crack emotionally in public, but I'll be damned if I didn't want to just cry my eyes out at the sight of his family sobbing uncontrollably, not being able to deliver any address to the 200 plus people that were on hand at the church. To this day, my friends mother undergoes frequent therapy to deal with her loss, his father's business has collapsed due to the emotional strain his son's death has put on him and his brother has sunk into heavy drug and alcohol use. Exactly what is the reasoning behind this Foley/Orton feud? The way they are building it is the classic 'face is murdered every night until the PPV when he finally fights back and prevails'. However, everyone knows Orton is already winning this, therefore they are making the following mistakes: A) Making Orton look like someone who cannot beat Foley on his own B) Foley to be a fucking retard who will walk into a set up EVERY WEEK C) A scenario that will ultimately end in the crowd turning on both guys It is all *so stupid* and I've almost gored my own brains out with a fork just trying to find logic in it all. As for RAW: I seriously hope Vince shocks me tonight, however I think it is quite apparent that he will announce the first RAW vs Smackdown! match for Wrestlemania XX. I'd love Vince to reveal something huge that I didn't see coming, but that would require him to be creative and unpredictable. UYI

They pushed the release date of the game back specifically to fine-tune the gameplay issues that were still present from the previous game. To be honest, the first two titles in this series felt as though they were still in the developmental stages when I played them, so hopefully Acclaim have really looked into the issues that hindered the game before. I *really* want to like this game, but if the same gameplay problems are present then it is going to be hard for me to find it as appealing as I want to. UYI

I've always had a big soft spot for Sabu, he was really the only wrestler I ever liked in ECW besides Raven and watching him back then, being only 11 years old, I could simply not believe half the crazy shit he would do. So call it a bad business move and one that surely won't appeal to the majority, but I know that I'm going to order the next show just to see Sabu. At least it's succeeded on that level, because I never order TNA shows. UYI

I actually thought it was impossible to no-sell the move, judging from the horror stories I have seen printed by people who've actually taken the move and detailing how fucking painful it is, such as Foley. I think it garnered that reputation because it just about damn-near knocked you about when you took it. Guess that makes Hogan one tough bastard then. If anything, it will be a testiment to how great Guns N' Roses truly were and an easy way for casual listeners to experience both the 'crazy-outta-control' Guns N' Roses of the 1980's, where it looked like they were about to fucking explode on stage at any given moment, to the more subtle and cryptic Guns N' Roses that emerged in the early 90's. I agree, undeserving artists/bands do not deserve a greatest hits compliation (or those who've released too many already - Aerosmith, anyone?), but GNR are deserving of all the praise they recieve, at least in my eyes, and I see nothing wrong with this move, if it is actually *theirs*. Smackdown! bores the ever loving shit out of me, so it looks like there will just be more RAW PPV's to buy this year round. I think it's a great move, as someone up there said previously - it gives each brand even more individual qualities. I'm for it. UYI
