  1. At least with "The Hills Have Eyes" you said that you weren't fully paying attention thus explaining some of your ignorance but I still think you need someone next to you during movies and tv shows to explain what's going on cause it seems that EVERYTHING is subtle to you. Don't go blaming the episode because South Park has more respect for their viewers than say...a Vince McMahon. Honestly...What do you want? For them to wink and say "get it?" after every joke. This reminds me of that "Vote or Die" episode of South Park. I was watching it with a group of friends and someone said: "Giant Douche and Turd Sandwich represent Bush and Kerry". That was followed by someone else going: "Well duh, what kind of fucking idiot wouldn't get that?"
  2. Sadly, according the imdb message board for this movie, people who went to the advanced screenings for this flick are disappointed as hell. According to them, it's pretty terrible and "just plain vulgar and not funny vulgar either" which actually doesn't surprise me with Saget as writer.
  3. I can't seem to find a RAW thread that didn't at least hit 10 pages by the time RAW went off the air except for the following: RAW is DOG RAW is WAR A bunch of RAW threads lately didn't hit 10 pages when RAW ended. However, ongoing discussion afterwards pushed them above 10...which should happen with this one.
  4. Close enough...and calling that a "match" saddens me somewhat.
  5. Cena vs. McMahon will last 2 minutes.
  6. I actually was watching last year's show the other day and thinking how over Benjamin was while watching it. Benjamin had the most reactions and crowd support in the beginning of the show. Benjamin got the crowd behind him because he was stealing the match with his spots: the T-Bone suplex off the ladder and that running up the ladder thing.
  7. Most likely
  8. Best part of the episode, IMO...ah well.
  9. Chris! UPDATE!!!
  10. WHOOO! Battle Royals rule! Anyway, best of luck Ortonsault, there's no shame in being a distant second to the Fantasy master.
  11. 1 hour...1 match
  12. I believe Meltzer said the WB would be showing it in the Detroit area.
  13. Does this make sense to anybody else? Sabin & Lethal wrestle twice on the same show. And what lack of Joe are you guys talking about. He beats up an announcer, says he's moving up to the Heavyweight division against Sabu, and then has a "good" match with Puma. Puma vs. Joe and Sabin/Lethal vs. New LAX are not for Impact...they're for Xplosion
  14. Got these from Vick on the DVDVR message board who in turn got these from BrianH on the TNA forums: - A few notes from last night's show. Jeff Jarrett did not suffer a knee injury. He was just entertaining himself trying to work the audience with no storyline reason. Some people feel the need to prove they are smarter than their audience. Samoa Joe did aggravate his eye and lost vision and the match was cut several minutes short and the major spots planned never happened. He is thought to be okay and at last word was scheduled to work tomorrow night at the tapings. - The next TNA PPV, Lockdown, on 4/23, will be an all cage match show. Christian Cage vs. Abyss will be the title match and there will be some sort of a team confrontation with Sting's team against a team headlined by Jeff Jarrett & Scott Steiner. TNA is working on a possible main event gimmick cage for Lockdown that may be along the lines of the old War Games in WCW. - Any reports that new CEO Kevin Day was brought in to cut costs are totally incorrect. - There has been no orders at the top to rid TNA of any talent. The idea that talent is not pulling out all stops on their end is a result of the booking committee not wanting the wrestling coasting right now. - It's official that TV tapings in Orlando will move from Tuesday nights to Monday nights starting April 10th, which will be the big one. - TNA is working on a possible main event gimmick cage for Lockdown that may be along the lines of the old War Games in WCW. - BG James complained because he could not do the pelvic thrust before his pump handle slam yet Norman Smiley shows up and does the Big Wiggle. Norman is over bigtime in Orlando. - The following are the currently planned World X Cup teams, but they are subject to change: Team UK - Doug Williams, Nigel McGuiness, Jody Fleisch, Jonny Storm Team Japan - Jushin Liger (captain), Black Tiger, Gedo, Minoru Tanaka Team Mexico - Mistico, Ultimo Guerrero, Ultimo Dragon, Rey Bucanero Plus Team USA and Team Canada - As of right now there are no discussions of bringing in Rikishi, even though he works TNA talent heavy house shows alot. - Hotstuff Hernandez is booked, TNA may start using him soon in LAX. - Low Ki is considered unlikely to come in after asking for more money. - Angles with the White Sox will play out all March. - Homicide is pushing for Angel Media (Angel from Da Baldies in ECW) to get a tryout for the LAX spot. Cide and him are good New York buddies. - TNA and NWA Cyberspace are no longer working together because Cyberspace promoter Billy Firehawk bounced a reported $1,300 check to Jeremy Borash and $1,800 check to Jeff Jarrett and pull Abyss off one of their shows but still used him to advertise it. - TNA has trademarked the terms "X" as in X Division (for pro marketing on the X Division) and "Samoan Submission Machine."
  15. I liked WCW Sin...hell, I really liked all three of the final WCW ppv's in 2001. Geez, people's opinion on tonight's PPV is really polarized.
  16. Who won between Hoyt and Bentley?
  17. Answer: I'm Rick James, bitch!
  18. Wow, 8 pages...
  19. This just gets worse... Damn, I agreed with Lawler
  20. The announcers acknowledge what happened to Shawn but I'll be damned if one of them tells him what happened during his entrance...WWE=leave your brain at the door.
  21. I don't care! I couldn't care less if I tried...I'm actually feeling my life passing me by here!
  22. It's not the live version, it's the replay with additional commentary on the event by Roddy Piper plus they show what happened the next night on Raw between HBK, Sid and Diesel to promote In Your House.
  23. I've got the 1998 legacy and got no complaints about it ...well, perhaps the quality of some of the tapes but it's no biggie. The tapes are all the Manias as shown on PPV live (theme music, merchandise ads, etc...all intact). Mania 11 is the "Encore Plus" version but I don't care.
