Because it won't happen again. Not unless you bring it on yourself. As long as I've been here, there has never been anyone that was banned (or suspended) unjustly or without reason. It may not have always been a popular decision, and there were naturally some mistakes made along the way, usually due to bad information. But there were always reasons. Never was someone banned because a mod "felt like it." As much as some like to think it, there is no mod conspiracy looking to unfairly ban posters. Tom had his justifiable reasons here, and though you may not agree with it or he may doubt it, what's done is done and the punishment fit the crime. And let's face it, the punishment could have been much worse.

The French thing is done purely in jest. It's all ridiculous, over the top, hacky 80s comedian humor when it comes to them. It's obviously not serious. Something like 'Nigger' often crosses the line, and it's fairly easy to see why it wouldn't be taken lightly, and why a mod would have a problem with it. And FYI, the same type of humor prevalent in French mocking has been used for all races on this board, so it's not like one is given a free pass over the other. Ghettoman-- What do you want from Tom anyway? You're making a mountain out of a molehill at this point. Throughout this whole thing Tom has been open to rationally talking about it, while you've been confrontational, stubborn and bitter as fuck, taking it as far as the Paris Hilton thread in LSD. It was two days, and obviously can't be rescinded now. So stop bitching, get over it and reexamine your life, hopefully to the point where you won't get so uppity over pointless shit like this in the future. Edit: Looking back on this post, I came off as needlessly harsh with the language and those last couple lines. I stand by my opinion, however.

I didn't know either. But that's because of my complete apathy towards them. And I must go to this show. I enjoy most of the bands involved, and yes, even SJR. The only one I have no intention of checking out is Slipknot. Though part of my reasoning for going is that this is possibly Ozzy's last tour. As decrepit as he is now, I'd like to see him live once.

I don't have anything to add, as I never bother with Boomerang. Since I pretty much hate most of those shows. But this is as good of time as any. For my sanity, stop typing in all caps. Go lower caps if you have to, but all caps should be reserved for when you have a need to 'scream' at people. Otherwise it's just annoying.

As someone said, moving Storm would only be good if they, you know, did something with him. Jobbing on Heat isn't a far cry from jobbing on Velocity. And I think they VERY nearly had something with the boring thing, when they had Storm be as boring as possible with the prepared statements and such. I enjoyed it, at least. But then he started cabbage patching all over, to no real result except for a tag win versus Jericho and Christian which was forgotten a week later, and a team later with one of the only people on the Raw roster who's as dead in the water as him.

I was just about to post this... I'm sad. Angel is literally one of the last shows I watch on tv.

Firstly, the Prince of Lies rocked. I liked the bit with the Initiative, explaining how they came about, although they're still one of my gripes as a whole. I also enjoyed the premise that both Germany and the US were experimenting with vampires, attempting to find the perfect weapon needed to win the war, in a nod of sorts to the nuclear arms race of that time. The final scene was great, especially the last line -- what did Angel say, Lawson was looking for a reason or a purpose? Much like Angel when he was in desperation, feeding on rats when Whistler came to him; and much like Angel now, as a matter of fact. Lawson found a way to get out. Referring to his current dejection, Angel hasn't. All in all, the episode turned out better than anyone could've thought. Not earth shattering or anything, but a good attempt. Although I wasn't too impressed with the guy playing Lawson, and the absence of anything referring to Cordy was disheartening.

This is creative crap though, which I find acceptable. Well, I find the Saga of Chave entertaining, I know others don't.

It's an album cover for Impaled Northern Moonforest, a joke metal band formed by Seth and Josh of Anal Cunt and in the same vein as Anal Cunt itself. The catalogue basically consists of a bunch of crappy, short songs with ludicrously long titles, such as "Masturbating On The Unholy And Inverted Tracks Of The Grim And Frostbitten Necrobobsledders."

I'm in agreement with caboose here. Talk about jumping to conclusions. We go from Eddie blowing off your friend to 'everyone' saying it's a telltale sign of going back to old habits. Like Mad Dog said, your friend possibly isn't telling the whole story. Eddie could've been swamped with autograph hounds pestering him and thought your friend was among them, doing the same; whether he was or not, as in a case of mistaken identity. Celebrity or regular Joe, Christian or not, everyone has a bad day and everyone lashes out sometime in the same way Eddie apparently has here. And yes, the classic 'Eddie was a bad guy in the past, so let's have him guilty until proven innocent.' This is ONE account of Eddie regarding this incident, and aside from his going after the fan within reason in 2002 (2003?), there hasn't been a story of misbehavior about Eddie since 2001.

Cristina Scabbia. Granted, I've liked her since hearing of Lacuna Coil and seeing some pics a while ago. But she went to #1 for me when I finally caught the Heaven's A Lie video. And I'm too lazy to look for a pic right now.

I imagine Manson bumming a ride off anyone who has an extra seat available. Either that or the JL 'vets' in IL, Jake and I traveling in a rental.
