And the Ruger logo owns Nothing like a Red Flaming Phoenix.
-
This isn't the EXACT one but Ruger makes a model of this that is Double Action Only.... NO external safety... and it's a .40SW. Good times.
-
Glocks are reliable and the .40/45AP are sweet. The Ruger and Sprinfield Armory ones that I posted are getting really good reviews... especially the S&A XD one and that comes in 9mm/.40/45 flavors.. plus its really hard to accidentally fire because outside of the normal safety it has both a trigger AND grip safeties on it.

Edited my post to make sense.

9mm will stop them if you put a couple into them (assuming you can't get a head shot and he doesn't have a gun as well). Benefit is that it is easier to control and usually lighter so aiming is easier. But if you want 1 hit stopping power look to a .40SW or a .45AP. Blow a fucking chunk out of someone... not to mention it can shoot through a car window well in your case AoO. I'm comparing if say you shot someone in the side or something where they could feasibly still come after you if shot with one 9mm compared to a .40SW or .45AP. But it goes kinda equal and depends if you think you can get more than one round off or if you want one shot stopping power... especially if the guy has a weapon as well. Oh.. and a .22 handgun = BAD idea for defense unless you sneak up on someone... and shoot them in the head. That said the best gun for self defense/home defense is a shotgun. Nothing like hearing the sound of "chik-chik" to put some fear in you. I'm currently looking into the Ruger KP97D 45AP I may go 9mm and get a Springfield Armory XD9101 I may go Glock but EVERYONE has a Glock now a days.

NEW YORK, Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Columbia Records and World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. have joined forces to unleash WWE Originals, the groundbreaking album of new music performed by the WWE's foremost superstars. WWE Originals will be in stores on January 13, 2004. Though music has always played an integral role in the WWE global phenomenon, WWE Originals is the first WWE album to showcase the superstar wrestlers themselves performing material written specifically for them. Artists include Stone Cold Steve Austin, Dudley Boyz, Trish Stratus, Rey Mysterio, Booker T, Kurt Angle, Lita, Lillian Garcia, Eddie & Chavo Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Rikishi, and Stacy Keibler. WWE Originals features an exclusive value-added DVD with behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the album, candid glimpses of the WWE superstars in unguarded moments and much more. Produced by James A. Johnston, whose credits include penning the unforgettable body-slamming "themes" of the WWE superstars, WWE Originals is the latest in a series of highly-successful WWE albums and the first WWE/Columbia Records album since the RIAA gold-certified WWF Forceable Entry, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard the week of its release in 2002. "These are authentic no-b.s. performances by everybody's favorite WWE superstars," said Mr. Johnston, who also composed most of the album's music. "Fans are going to be amazed by the talent level and the musical sensitivity from people that do something so ostensibly rough and tough. The goal of this is to not be a gimmick record. It's to be genuinely entertaining and have good songs that are true to the nature of the characters that people have grown to love on television. It gives fans an opportunity to get one step closer to these people in the same way that you get a little bit closer to your favorite musical artist when they come out with a new record. WWE Originals lets fans peek behind the curtain a little bit." "It's great to get back in the ring with Columbia Records, the greatest musical tag-team partner in the world," said WWE chairman Vince McMahon. "With WWE Originals, we're delivering a heart-pounding new experience that will leave the fans breathless and begging for more.
