  1. Some times a station/company will buy the rest of the tickets to show a game. I know KIRO has done it once or twice here for Seahawks games.
  2. No. You can drive 100 miles out of the market and watch it.
  3. So you buy a ticket and go see the team.
  4. Just going to have to move then.
  5. At least it wasn't.... IN ANGER~!
  6. We so need Paris, Tara, and crew to do a half-time naked in their panties, hair pulling and pillow swinging fight on PPV. For like 9.95
  7. Yeah it's nice living in WA state. We get CBC and ESPN so it makes for plenty of hockey on free tv.

  9. Twas a good game between Montreal and Toronto tonight. But lord I remember why I like watching just the 3rd quarter moreso then the whole game.
  10. Oh fuck this looks bad.
  11. Check out http://www.galleryofguns.com GOOD SHIT there. The price that is listed is the MSRP... but when you actually go through the price is usually $100- 200 or so cheaper. An example is a Glock 21 is about $700 MSRP but if you want to see prices in your area its about the $450-550 mark. You can search by caliber etc. I think a .40SW or 45 would be good enough and can be gotten relatively cheap.
  12. Wouldn't Queen be considered hard rock? Sure they did various other things as well but at the core to me they were hard rock.... and NO WHERE on the Top 100.
  13. Welcome to the Jungle should be quite higher IMO.
  14. COPENHAGEN, Denmark - The residents of Copenhagen's famed hippie enclave can be evicted because the Danish state gave them the right to borrow the land — not rent it — in 1989, government lawyers said in a legal review released Wednesday. In 1971, hippies moved into a derelict 18th century navy fort and proclaimed their freewheeling society on 84 acres of state-owned land behind Copenhagen's old ramparts. They dubbed it Christiania and turned it into a flower-power community with psychedelic-painted buildings, where people advocated nudity, free marijuana, no government, no cars and no cops. In 1987, Christiania was recognized as a "social experiment" and two years later the then-government allowed the residents to use the land. Since the Liberal-Conservative government took office in 2001, it has promised to end the open sale of hashish at Christiania, clear the former navy barracks-turned-community and erect upscale housing complexes on what it called an attractive real estate. "Christiania has been borrowing the area from the state, they have not been renting it," said Karsten Hagel-Soerensen, representing the government's law firm. The 1989 agreement "can be terminated" because they are not renting the land, Hagel-Soerensen concluded in a 23-page legal report. "A one-year (eviction) notice is considered an acceptable notice," he added. There was no immediate reaction from the government or Christianites, as the 1,000 residents are known. In the past two years, they have staged several demonstrations to protest the government's plan. The legal report will be included in the government's official outline for Christiania's future, which is expected to be presented next year. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...nmark_hippies_1
  15. That sounds..... kinda cheap.
  16. How about market to people not part of the IWC? And by market I mean SPONSER SOMETHING (NASCAR doesn't count). How about a couple commercials during a cable show like The Shield? Not overly expensive. If XPW can get their DVDs into Best Buy.... TNA should be able to as well. TV deal would be nice as well of course... chances are if they can even get a deal with a REGIONAL FOX Sports affiliate then those who have digital cable/sat can watch on one of the FOX Sports Digital channels like MLW did.
  17. By MARTIN WALLACE A STORM of protest erupted yesterday over revelations that shamed pop star Michael Jackson is to spend Christmas in Britain. And The Sun is today leading calls from all over the country to BAN the suspected paedophile from entering the UK. Jacko, who is facing nine child sex abuse charges, has been given permission by US authorities to visit Britain from today until January 6. But he is planning a party at his Neverland ranch in California this afternoon and is not expected to jet in until tomorrow at the earliest. We are demanding he be refused entry by immigration officials. And our call is being supported by a string of politicians and campaigners against child abuse. Des Turner, Labour MP for Brighton, said: “Britain needs to send out the clearest message to paedophiles that their crimes are evil and unacceptable. “I would like to see him barred until the charges against him are resolved.” Labour colleague Dan Norris, MP for Wansdyke, said: “He is clearly the most famous person in the world facing charges of paedophilia. “It is important we send out the strongest possible message that we take the protection of children seriously.” Mr Norris, a former social worker, added: “I would not welcome him being allowed into this country until after these matters are dealt with.” The grandmother of eight-year-old Sarah Payne, who was murdered by paedophile Roy Whiting, also backed a Jacko ban. Lesley Payne, 50, said: “As far as I’m concerned he should not be allowed into this country. We have a duty to ensure our children are protected.” The Association of Child Abuse Lawyers said it would be “highly inadvisable” to let Jacko come into contact with kids while the charges were outstanding. And Sun readers around Britain also believe the 45-year-old star should be refused entry. Gran-of-seven Rita Stephens declared: “We have a responsibility to protect our kids. If the shoe was on the other foot I’m sure the American authorities would not allow a person facing these allegations into their country, so why should we?” Rita, of Sedgefield, Co Durham, added: “If Jackson is found innocent that’s all well and good, but in the meantime we have to take steps to ensure our children are not put at risk.” Jackson, who is on £1.7million bail, has had his passport returned by US authorities so he can visit this country. Officially the trip is to promote his greatest hits CD, Number Ones, which is currently at No3 in the album chart. But sources close to the star say he is also desperate to escape media attention in the States. Jackson was this week charged with seven counts of molesting a boy under 14 and two counts of supplying booze to a child with intent to commit a crime. The charges allege that “lewd and lascivious acts were committed upon and with the body parts and members of a child under 14 with the intent of arousing and gratifying the lust, passions and sexual desires of the defendant.” Prosecutors say there was “substantial sexual contact” between Jackson and the unnamed child, believed to be cancer victim Gavin Arvizo, who was 12 at the time of the alleged offences in February and March this year. Gavin appeared on Martin Bashir’s famous ITV documentary about Jacko, and the pop star was filmed holding hands with the lad. Jackson has branded the allegations a “big lie” and vowed to fight them with every fibre of his soul. He is due to appear in court in California on January 16. His legal team is being helped out by top defence lawyer Johnnie Cochran, who is best known for defending OJ Simpson. The Home Office said last night it would not comment on individual immigration cases. But a spokesman said only people with criminal convictions were usually refused entry. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-20035...3583509,00.html
  18. By NIC CECIL Political Correspondent BARMY BBC bosses have banned reporters from calling tyrant Saddam Hussein a former dictator. Instead, staff must refer to the barbaric mass murderer as “the deposed former President”. The astonishing edict was seized on by MPs last night as more proof of a Left-wing bias inside the BBC against the Iraqi war. Labour MP Kevan Jones, of the Commons Defence Select Committee, said: “This shows the crass naivety of the BBC. Such political correctness will be deeply hurtful to many of our servicemen serving in Iraq. “It amply demonstrates elements of the BBC have got a clearly anti-war and anti-Government agenda.” Labour MP Ann Clwyd, who chairs the Indict group which has dossiers on the crimes of Saddam, his sons and henchmen, was astounded at the BBC’s stance. She said: “It’s frankly ridiculous. Saddam Hussein is a despot, a murderer and a torturer. He will have to answer charges of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.” Tory Party chairman Liam Fox also slammed the Beeb — which was accused during the war of giving too much weight to Iraqi propaganda. He said: “To afford this level of politeness to a tyrant, torturer and murderer is deeply offensive to the Iraqi people. “It is also an insult to the Coalition forces who have sacrificed so much to liberate Iraq from the evil of Saddam.” The BBC said the email spelling out the instruction was sent to reporters on its online website, which serves a global audience. A spokeswoman said: “This was reiterating existing guidelines to remind BBC News Online journalists of the need to use neutral language.” Later she said the ban on calling Saddam a dictator did not apply to domestic services. But a BBC insider said: “This is our daftest order ever.” Saddam has been put on a drip since his capture. Medical experts believe he became dehydrated and malnourished during his eight months on the run. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-20035...3583553,00.html
