  1. It took awhile to grow on me, but White1 is fucking stellar. Anyone other than Agent of Oblivion like these guys? Also, since Agent will read this thread, what Sunn O))) do you have. I'm interested as to where I should go next.
  2. I support this proposal.
  3. I can't claim to recall too much of Maladroit, but there's no way this song's moronic, sub-Blink 182 doggerel is better.
  4. Yeah, it was at CG. And isn't the new LB just a remix album with a few new tracks? I don't know how excited I can get about that.
  5. Kotz called me Sunday as I was about to go to sleep. His voice was jittery and nervous, asking me about what happend on the board during his absence. I told him that I don't know and to leave me alone.
  6. Incanetic. Has Agent of Oblivion ever made any other gimmicks?
  7. But yeah, this thread was about Incanetic, who turned 22 this past Sunday. So did Kinetic, but that's not what's really important.
  8. Walked right into that one.
  9. The birthday was yesterday, so this thread is past its expiration date.
  10. heh
  11. Motherfucker, the Delgados broke up. 2005 is a terrible year for music.
  12. I keep meaning to check out School of the Flower. Also, I just remembered to add Doves' Some Cities.
  13. Just them alone? I've heard Oldham's kinda dull when playing solo (or with one other person), but he's definitely worth checking out if he has a full band in tow. I saw him June of last year; Sweeney was a part of his backing band. On stage, both he and Oldham took a very big hit off a joint this dude from the crowd passed up.
  14. Really Good Black Mountain - s/t Low - The Great Destroyer The Wedding Present - Take Fountain Good Black Lipstick - Sincerely, Black Lipstick Dead Meadow - Feathers Jennifer Gentle - Valende Matt Sweeney & Bonnie "Prince" Billy - Superwolf Okay The Decemberists - Picaresque The Evens - s/t LCD Soundsystem - s/t Mediocre, Boring, Bad, etc. Angels of Light - Sing Other People Bloc Party - Silent Alarm Doves - Some Cities Mercury Rev - The Secret Migration Mogwai - Government Commissions: BBC Sessions 1996-2004
  15. I saw Lyrics Born the other night. Dude knows how to work the crowd; his backing band were no slouches, either. The band was a surprise, as I assumed LB was touring with just a dj.
  16. On CD: On vinyl:
  17. Here I am, looking seductive: Sorry, ladies. I'm taken.
  18. Pixies' "Monkey Gone to Heaven" is lousy, too. So's the video for "Here Comes Your Man."
  19. Your reply to his "You sure talk a lot for someone I just shut up" was "Do you know who I am?" which was the equivalent of choking back tears, flailing your arms and whining, "no, you shut up!"
  20. Your interpretation of history is unique.
  21. In other news, my female housemate has "Girlfriend In a Coma" as her cell's ringtone. My male housemate is using "London Calling," where I, after spending the last six months switching between "Radio Free Europe" and "Ignition (Remix)," am using "Lola."
  22. What if the Smiths totally shitcanned the second half of Strangeways, Here We Come (save "Paint a Vulgar Picture")? That would've been an awesome EP.
  23. I miss subby. He's never on AIM anymore.
