I really like this band: Awesome live show, too. Of course, I'm in no position to recomend metal, in spite of my wishing I actually liked more of it.

There was one local band I kinda liked, but they broke up earlier this year. They weren't very original—they sounded a lot like Joy Division crossed with late 80s, early 90s-era Sonic Youth—but they played with a hell of a lot of energy. Just about every local band, otherwise, is either shitty emo/punk, metal (which I'm no judge of, anyway) or bland indie rock.

I mean, I have an idea, but still.

I haven't seen everything that character has said, but, of what I have, every post has actually been bad. So the gimmick's been a success, sorta. If you don't have the stones to take some jibes from a faceless internet nerd, maybe there's some Wiggles or Dora the Explorer forum you can busy yourself at.

Davy Mcwavydavy/Marshall (Guy Stokes' creator) was a dork, but respect is given where respect is due.

Every (currently inactive) gimmick I've ever enjoyed (not including my own): Metal Ed Guy Stokes ABOBO If any have slipped my mind, it's due to either 1) it was a gimmick of what Kotz termed the "clove" variety, or 2) it sucked. EDIT: Just so Agent doesn't feel hurt, Incanetic made me laugh a couple of times.

I liked ABOBO, but he was topped before he even existed.
