  1. Awesome. Stars of the Lid - The Tired Sounds of Stars of the Lid Mission of Burma - Vs. Galaxie 500 - This is Our Music Aerial M - As Performed by... Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Zuma Mogwai - Come On Die Young
  2. Oh, I'm sorry, I meant to post this in Current Events. Could a mod please move it there? Thanks.
  3. And thus ends my imitation of whoever wins today's election.
  4. 500th post. I didn't read any of this thread, nor will I now.
  5. I don't remember posting that, if it makes you feel any better!
  6. I ended up getting a bunch of garish clothes from a thrift store and claimed I was the president of NAMBLA. Party sucked, too.
  7. Good man.
  8. That Halloween joke thread was good until the sixth post.
  9. And Agent of Oblivion likes a lot of different stuff, but I would never bother explaining to him the appeal of sensitive men making sensitive music.
  10. 1. Sappy, overwrought, etc. The addition of mooing cows is simply absurd. Even discounting the lyrics and sound effects, it's a dull dirge and a terrible way to end the album. 2. I love the first album, too. "Reel Around the Fountain" is my favorite Smiths song. 3. As mentioned, Your Arsenal and Vauxhall & I. Kinetic said Bona Drag, which I never got around to hearing myself, but is supposedly worthwhile. 4. Five on each side, I imagine. I've never looked at a vinyl copy of that album, but it's a safe guess. The point, however, is SHWC really falls off for me in the second half, with "Unhappy Birthday" being the nadir. "Paint a Vulgar Picture" is good, though.
  11. Necrobucket - Dance of the Spontaneously Combusted
  12. Oh, and I like Meat is Murder more than Strangeways, Here We Come. As obnoxious and braying MiM's title track is, it doesn't make me want to stab Morrissey in the throat like SHWC's "Unhappy Birthday." Still, SHWC's A-side is pretty fucking great.
  13. Meat is Murder is really good if you forget the title track is there at the end of the album, festering like a cancerous appendage. [EDIT] Also, "How Soon is Now?" is alright but I never, ever want to hear it again. So, Meat is Murder has eight really, really good songs, one decent but overplayed song, and one terrible, horrible song.[/EDIT] And AndrewTS, that you compare yourself to kkk answers the question I posed to you earlier, so thanks.
  14. When he checks back in this thread, Agent will know how I feel whenever I read the board.
  15. Are all your posts this terrible? Anyway, YPV is crazy; You are the Quarry has one or two decent songs and a lot of mediocrity. Par for the course as far as solo Morrissey goes, but Vauxhall & I and Your Arsenal are solid.
  16. Banky's gonna be hurt when he sees he isn't one of your favorites. He's still under the impression everyone loves him.
  17. This board is like watching an ex-girlfriend die of cancer. One you once held a certain fondess for, but now you can't remember why exactly. Maybe she gave good head or something.
  18. I hate this place so much.
  19. I only listened to one album today—Volcano Suns' All Night Lotus Party—and am unable to find a picture of the cover anywhere. I can't even describe it, as I pirated my copy. Call this a challenge that none of you will answer. Find me the artwork for this album.
  20. Why was my name mentioned.
  21. Agent, you don't like that you're so popular, correct? Keep up that evaluation thread, and be merciless. When I started insulting everyone constantly, the number of times my name was brought up in those "favorite poster" threads went down drastically.
  22. Actually, my dream woman is as snide and as condescending as me.
  23. Huge props to gtd's avatar, by the way. Holy shit.
  24. I've never loved a woman right when I started dating her, but I don't think that's what you're getting at.
