TV on the Radio's new one, Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes has been getting plenty of play. For an individual song, I've been obsessing over Wire's "41 Degrees North 93 Degrees West" for awhile. That chorus is pure pop heaven.

I wanted the subject line to read "Poster most likely to go crazy and kill everyone in sight," but it was too long.

I predict this will be a close race.

I have ten gray hairs. I know this because I've counted them. And sometimes I make "old man" noises when getting up from a sitting position. And, after a night of drinking (such as last night), I feel a lot groggier the next day than I would have just a couple of years ago.

I didn't actually read either of those threads--I popped into each long enough to see they were just like that "person above you" shit--so I have no idea what you people are talking about. I don't want to know, either, so don't consider the above an invitation to explain.

This, in combination with FrigidSoul's once saying he imagined me as an "angsty white guy," makes me realize that some of you people have a perception of me that is inaccurate. I'm an extremely mellow and easygoing person; most of what I say on this board is for laughs.

If only we could close our own threads. All that needed to be said here was said in the first post, which I accomplished without actually having to post in the shitty threads I was addressing. Obviously, the only solution is for a mod to close this thread, delete all the posts except for the first one, and then pin this to the top of the Hardcore Discussion folder.

That Constantines record is terrific. They're fantastic live, too.

You could've just sent me that dollar, instead. Anyway, a radio station perk saw me getting a free copy of the reissue of Olivia Tremor Control's Black Foliage. It's an incredible, psychadelic, lo-fi indie epic. Even better than their pretty damn good Dusk at Cubist Castle.

I wouldn't count that; he simply had his at-the-time current screenname changed. It wasn't like creating another gimmick entirely. Anyway, Incanetic predates all that Winnie the Pooh business.

I'll import what I said over at SNKT: I really do like this album a great deal, but it's quite flawed.

I was more upset that Edwin stole my "you people take message boarding very seriously" schtick before I could use it. EDIT:
