While a Cubs/Red Sox W.S. wouldn't turn me away from the game. I do agree with AS, that the winner would lose it's national appeal. It's one of the great stories every season. Can the Red Sox finally get out of the Yankees shadow. Will the lovable loser the Chicago Cubs end their World Series drought? In away the idea of Bud Selig handing the Trophy to Terry Francona or Dusty Baker doesn't seem right.
Oh. Don't get me wrong. Houston can make it. My previous comment was more an observation. It never seems like we get the World Series alot of people think or want to see going into the season. New York with A-Rod vs Houston with Clemens and Pettite fits that to a tee.
I have questions about the Royals starting pitching. Do they have any? Honestly I don't trust the White Sox. Too come through and beat out the other two teams. When push came to shove last year the Twins took care of business against Chicago.
Houston vs Nw York. Sorry that just seems too perfect a matchup. We'll likely see one team come out of know where and make it.
04. Minnesota Twins
No chance. They still have Radke, Santana, and Lohse. They only lost A.J. Pierzynski from the starting lineup. The bullpen loses will hurt, but not enough to go from 1st to 4th.
Besides being a dog and a cancer. Rasheed isn't nearly the player he used to be. He's only avearging 7 rebounds a game. If I'm a Knicks fan, I hope my team doesn't spend too much on this guy.
I fit into that category has well. Actually I liked the during the the 3 championships. Loved how that team played, how it came together. A team in every sense of the word.
The reality is Iverson is almost impossible to trade. You have to find a player with a similiar contract. Kobe Bryant's been mentioned but he still has the legal problems, and honestly I think he resigns with the Lakers.
Robinson's number isn't really respresenting the Dodgers in Yankee Stadium, and other ballparks. It's representing what he did too break the color barrier.
I don't know how much Landis really cracked down on gambling. There's plenty of rumors that say Ty Cobb and other big name star of the day should of been in trouble for gambling but Landis did nothing.
All I wanna see is a solid win. Keep in mind this is Wally's first game so the Wolves will have to make adjustments. They may not be in sync like they usually are.
