  1. Great stuff tonight. I loved Cox's shot at Dane Cook and Janitor's mural, especially. The "House" bits were neat. Plus, Keith and Lisa got hit in the head with a clipboard. So when Kim comes back she'll be, what, 6 months pregnant? At least we won't be seeing another birth.
  2. Hotbutter Spoontoaster lives again.
  3. I just bought a ticket to see Joshua Radin and Schuyler Fisk (and Brett Dennen, whom I'm not familiar with) in Charlottesville on the 27th, for a mere $8. I'm super excited since acoustic has grown on me in the past few months.
  4. I know the NBC preview has been wrong before, but I thought Kim said the job offer was in Washington.
  5. Knocked Up, because Seth Rogen in the lead role of an Apatow movie has all sorts of incredible possibilities.
  6. Cool Cats *chest pound* air-banding "More Than a Feeling":
  7. Electric Six's Switzerland and "The Last Kiss" soundtrack.
  8. Youtube is an amazing source for catching up on old episode moments. "Hooch is craaazy" clips from season 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9k4j9Z2jHws One of my favorite JD/Janitor moments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6V0X2QH77Ks The Todd at his finest:
  9. I tried it, and it's horrible. It's supposedly a cherry flavor, but you wouldn't know from the fucking burn as it goes down your throat. I guess they really do want to simulate the experience. It's near-painful. Not even worth it, because despite claiming to be 3.5 Red Bulls, I didn't really feel any difference. Unless my caffeine tolerance is that insanely high.
  10. Oh, how could I forget "Savin' Me" by Nickelback and "Lips of an Angel" by crappy generic rock band that sounds like Nickelback.
  11. working in a gym where it's all top 40 all the time allows me to make a list this year. "Call Me When You're Sober" - Evanescence "Show Me What You Got" - Jay-Z "Too Little Too Late" - JoJo "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" - Panic "Buttons" and "SOS" are wayyy too catchy for their own good.
  12. Trailer: http://www.ifilm.com/video/2806678 Limited release this Friday, nationwide January 19th, I think. I'd like to think that this will be funny considering the leads are from my two favorite shows, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Neither the writers nor the director have done anything substantial (or in the writers' case, anything at all). And as "Let's Go to Prison" proved, the actors really can't help if the production sucks.
  13. To continue discussion (or continue talking to myself) until January 4th, what is everyone's overall favorite season? I used to think Season 1 or 2 had it for being fresh and original, but after a recent re-viewing I love 3 the most. The crew FINALLY decided what they wanted with the J.D./Elliot relationship and I'm glad they made the right choice and went against the Ross/Rachel grain (which led to a great Friends reference by Janitor). Plus, it doesn't hurt that it has some of the best (and THE best) episodes, "My Screw-Up," "My Butterfly," the Michael J. Fox arc, and final three episodes, "My Fault," "My Self-Examination," and "My Best Friend's Wedding." 4 is probably the overall weakest, but in all 120 and whatever episodes I haven't seen a real extended run of dull.
  14. January 4th. New episodes all around in that block.
  15. Okay. I thought we were getting a little behind schedule on the routine "make fun of e-feds" thread. Thank you, Imarkout4eldandy, for keeping us up to date.
  16. This was a great episode because for the first time in awhile it felt like all of the main characters were doing something, as opposed to some of last season's episodes where someone like Kelso or Cox would just have a few jokes thrown in just to give their characters lines. Great to see Cabbage back. Todd being obsessed with breast milk was probably too easy of a gag to pull. I'm interested to see where they go with Kim, since I figured she wouldn't become a regular character or anything. Anyway, I think next week is "His Story 4," from Kelso's perspective.
  17. Loved loved loved it, of course. Beside what's already been mentioned, Kevin's concerned look when Toby forlornly massaged his robe and Dwight's Benihana advice on how to cook the goose were both tremendous.
  18. Please do Angle/Joe at Final Resolution. And keep the PPV in Orlando. I would love to see them fight live, I don't care how shitty the rest of the card is.
  19. Wow.
  20. Some threads lose their value over time. That was not one of them. Everything from Texas Small Arms' avatar quote saying "Beauty is a curse on the world" to Mole admitting he got the idea for the Love Box from Family Circus. Perfection.
  21. "I can't hang my shiny balls off of that!" That was amazing.
  22. IDRM's had a little buzzsaw in the urethra.
  23. A new challenge has risen!
  24. A pill means one?
  25. Two people started shoving each other, and you intervened.
