The next episode is on December 14th, "A Benihana Christmas." Harold Ramis is directing, I believe. I would assume that Jim will be stuck in the middle and forced to choose which party, Pam's or Karen's, to attend.

Good episode. And "Carrying Underwood" might be my new favorite Toddism. But Dr. Cox's hair. Yikes.

I don't really care about that. Especially if Hannah leaves next week or soon. Easily best ep of the season. I was almost crying during Michael's Scared Straight. And Jim's looks were awesome.

So many quotable lines in the first act alone. This is great.

I think we're supposed to feel bad for Ryan because he was assigned to Dunder-Mifflin by the temp agency, so he didn't really have a say in the matter like everyone else. But that goes out the window now that he works full time. B.J. Novak the writer >>>> the actor, with stuff like "Diversity Day," "Sexual Harassment," and "Boys and Girls." Usually the best Ryan moments come with Michael's obsession with him, anyway (along with Ryan's golden reactions and looks).

I usually don't admit it in public but I also really enjoy "Breath of Heaven" by Amy Grant.

I thought it was generally agreed upon that the American version has grown beyond any comparisons to the original. Hell, even compare American Season 1 (especially the pilot) to seasons 2 and 3--they're very different, and not just because Steve Carell lost weight and changed his hairstyle.

And he doesn't have to meet people "I.R.L." I'm sure he has plenty of success on MSN Messenger, with a handle like Lesnarversusbatista.

There is absolutely ZERO chance of HTQ having a crush on Meltzier.

It's that time of year. What are your favorites, least favorites, surprises, etc.? I don't think you can go wrong with Christmas rap. "Christmas in Hollis," "Santa Claus is Comin' Straight to the Ghetto," "Merry Motherfuckin' Christmas," the quality is endless. Electric stuff from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is also epic and amazing. The Christmas album I probably listen to the most is When My Heart Finds Christmas by Harry Connick, Jr., even if I can't stand some of the arrangements and the sudden burst of sound that happens in like every song. Can't go wrong with any of the Muppet Christmas albums, either.

Instead of dropping hundreds on a new system and games, I think I'm just going to prey on the cheap (and huge) assembly of awesome games now available for Xbox. Since I haven't really played it (or bought a new game) in at least a year or two, I can pick up GTA: San Andreas, Call of Duty, PGR2, etc. Bring it on.

Oscar is coming back in one of the January episodes. He got "three months paid vacation" so the actor could work on his new sitcom. The next (11/30) episode written by Gervais & Merchant is called "The Convict."

I like the fact that pretty much everyone thinks that a different character "stole the show." Shows just how well the writers have developed the peripheral characters.
