  1. Okay, yeah, I Am Trying to Break Your Heart is really really great. Now I've been listening to Yankee Hotel Foxtrot all day.

Well, yeah, I know the psychology behind it, but I refuse to believe that guys like the Giant and Reese can even do a handstand in the first place.

And why do all of the big guys do that stupid "I do a handstand on your leg before I crush it" move? God, I hate that.
  4. Hey, uh, opponents, I'm going to clean up my stats a little bit.

Ever have really good matches with all the wrong people? I swear, last night I played as Reese for no particular reason against Saturn, mostly just to see what Reese's moveset was like. I ended up having an 11 minute war that resulted in Reese being ranked for singles match points. Amazing.
  6. Is Pennebaker's Don't Look Back worth checking out if I already have No Direction Home? It seems like an awful lot of footage was taken from that film/during that time period anyway.
  7. Prince songs: 1. "Little Red Corvette" 2. "Raspberry Beret" 3. "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man" 4. "Alphabet Street" (I've even gotten used to the awful rap) 5. "Erotic City" Beatles: 1. "Something" 2. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" 3. "A Day in the Life" 4. "In My Life" 5. "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" Jay-Z: 1. "Takeover" 2. "My First Song" 3. "Brooklyn's Finest" 4. "22 Two's" 5. "99 Problems" New Order: 1. "Love Vigilantes" 2. "Temptation" 3. "Perfect Kiss" 4. "Confusion" 5. "True Faith"

    Music DVDs

Either live concerts or documentaries. Which ones are the best? I have limited experience in the field but really love No Direction Home. I actually thought of this topic because I was browsing Circuit City today and saw I Am Trying to Break Your Heart, about Wilco's struggles in releasing Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Intriguing. Has anyone seen it? I'm thinking about picking that up, along with Ziggy Stardust and The Last Waltz. Also, are there any DVDs that alone made you become a fan of a band or artist?
  9. To answer Raynor's question over AIM like 3 weeks ago: I can be booked in singles matches too, for the record.
  10. They're going to play Daddy Yankee, Shakira, and twelve other current rap songs that sound exactly the same. They'll also include the Cha-Cha and Electric Slides, so be sure to get in on those. For slow songs, expect K-Ci and Jo-Jo and/or the Goo Goo Dolls. It's really what you make of it though. I preferred my friend's school's prom over my own school's because I didn't know as many people and felt a lot looser. Just dance, a lot. Speaking of that prom, what actually put it over the top was the chocolate fondue fountain.
  11. Spartan - 7/10 This didn't really feel like a David Mamet film; then again, the excessive use of the line "Where's the girl?!" might have been satirizing thrillers that actually do use that line, I don't know. Either way, it was a nice little twist on a contrived plot (President's daughter is missing). Val Kilmer was pretty two-dimensional, but the film did have one of the best out-of-nowhere "holy shit!" moments in . Recommended.
  12. And of course it tastes like orange soda. Spark just tastes like so much sugar in liquid form with a tart taste.
  13. As far as alcoholic ones go, Tilt is amazingly delicious. Spark or whatever notsomuch; Spark is very very very sweet even though I had like 3 of them tonight (you get used to it) but Tilt on the other hand...oh ho ho ho ho. Like no other. 6.6% alcohol and also caffeine and guarine and taruine and all that other shit.
  14. I was saddened to see Jason Bateman didn't have a very big role in the movie

I hate how you can't retry during Championship mode. I blazed through Cruiserweight with La Parka and had champion Ultimo on the outside for awhile. The count was up to 15, and he was out, but I wanted to win the honorable way, so I tried to whip him into the ring...and was too far away, so he ran into the pole. I tried to pick him up and whip him again and we both got counted out, ending it and bringing me back to the title screen. Fuck that.
  16. I found you, Ms. New Booty. Get it together and bring it back to me.
  17. Actually: "Sister Christian" by Night Ranger.
  18. "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" by ODB

An amazing tag team exists in Van Hammer and Stevie Ray. Their taunts go together perfectly when Hammer is in front, and the awesomeness of the Slapjack makes up for Hammer's Canadian Backbreaker. I just had a kickass 15 minute match using them against La Parka and Psychosis.
  20. Depending on what Tom's plans are, I'm up for whatever.

Today I beat Goldberg as Eric Bischoff in Revenge. Glorious, especially when my spirit kept rising as Goldberg kicked the crap out of me.
  22. It was odd and refreshing seeing Capote the day before I saw this. Philip Seymour Hoffman has the fucking range, and is definitely my favorite actor of the moment. Really great movie--the Vatican City infiltration especially was awesome, and I loved seeing Simon Pegg.
  23. Hey, he used "Seed 2.0" in Collateral (for 7 seconds?)
  24. Michael Mann used "Numb/Encore" for the Miami Vice trailer. I'm not sure what to think, I thought he had better taste than that.
