No, they were 2001 with the Patriots-Rams. Beautiful Day became my unofficial Patriots Super Bowl theme that year. ...which was in the calendar year 2002
-
Huff isn't Dominican so Minaya would put him on the backburner
-
We have Burnitz as our lefty in right now, so I assume we don't want Huff or couldn't come up with something to trade for him. (I'd rather have Huff. Or Baldelli!)
-
U2 was in 2002 I think. Who played at Bucs-Raiders?
-
Next year should be Jimmy Page and Robert Plant!
-
"Moooooooooooom, who was the oooooooooold dude?"
-
Even if the weather was shitty, I hope everyone covering the game agrees that the halftime show kicked ass.
-
With mad whack emcee Carson Daly?
-
YES
-
Seger would be GREAT for next year.
-
Yeah. No Ashlee Simpson at halftime EVER, and nobody who would drop a "dope beat." Best halftime in years right now
-
"And now for the Super Bowl XL Halftime Show, with Detroit's very own, Kid Rock and Eminem!" let's take this all in, guys
-
Now this is entertainment.
-
It's football.
-
Why limit it to today.
-
OH NO YOU DON'T FUCKING SAY
-
Of course, it's a questionable call, so therefore, it will go the Patriots' way, that's just the rule.
-
Turnover, Eagles ball: if so, HAWTER.
-
So far, this game is HAWT.
-
I can't believe they re-signed Slava Medvedenko. He's like the Kyle Farnsworth of basketball.
-
I was wondering if maybe signing Vlade Divac wasn't such a good idea.
-
Mordecai "Three-Finger" Brown. Bates Battaglia (Avs?)
-
Former Minnesota North Stars goaltender Gump Worsley. I think he was a coach, but PUNCH IMLACH.
-
They said he was having trouble just with light running, so who knows. When is Divac coming back? Mwahaha.

I figured in terms of popularity and revenue and all that, it went football-baseball-basketball-hockey. the NBA and NHL were probably ahead of baseball directly following the strike.
