  1. Man, I wish you hadn't brought that up. They showed that shit every week for like two months, they were so fucking desperate to keep Konnan over. Didn't it have a remix? It was great when Disco Inferno dubbed himself in. "Arriba la raza! Oil of Olay, all day. Every day?"
  2. Whazzis? Last night on Raw, Jericho hit the Lionsault on HHH during his match against Maven and JR said that Jericho "just hit the Liontamer". The Liontamer was actually Jericho's much superior version of the Walls of Jericho (which we already knew about that, of course) with the knee to the back that he used to use in WCW and in the earlier part of his WWE career. Also, instead of turning the guy over, he'd walk forward until the guy flipped over. I've been put in both--Liontamer >>>>> Walls of Jericho
  3. It's not OVERTLY racist, but there are some definite undertones to it. I mean, Bush isn't dressed up like a plantation owner, nor is Rice saying "please massa," but there was still something that bothered me about the cartoon.
  4. Oh great. C-Bacon turned A MikeSC into a depressed suburban teenager!
  5. I don't think I ever got a rating.
  6. I ate an Italian beef sandwich with hot peppers and mozzarella today. It's one of my favorite foods ever.
  7. Maybe we can actually get them to meet for this debate in a studio, then firebomb it
  8. And if he does, 80% of the people will just get "You're not important enough for me to acknowledge."
  9. I stand up for the weak, yes. And I believe successful people, such as myself, should concern themselves with the plight of those that are less fortunate. Nope, again, I take care of myself. I do believe that government can make positive changes in society and correct for market failures. Here's my stand on the rich man's burden. Do successful people have an obligation to give something back to the community, whether neighborhood, city, state, or nation, after amassing significant wealth? Absolutely. I know that if I make lots of money in life, God willing, I'd like to give back to my original hometown of Arlington Heights, preferably the public library. But I think the obligation to help out others should be a moral one, not a legal one. Thus, the government is not justified to impose obscenely high taxes on people who earned their money. If people can't be bothered to help out those in need, or do something to improve the community, shame on them.
  10. Hockey and lacrosse. Gimme stuff, Billy. Remember Disco Inferno and The Leg Hold? That was a great gimmick. Every week on WCWSN back in late 1996, Disco Inferno bragged about his move, The Leg Hold, that would make him a real contender...once he got it. He would always lose despite talking up The Leg Hold, and eventually, he brought a diagram to the ring with him to refer to mid-match. But it was upside down and he got pinned. Another time, he set the diagram on the apron, but when he went to grab it, knocked it off the apron and couldn't reach. Then one week he finally got The Leg Hold, and upon perfecting this great move that would catapult him to the top of WCW...never used it again, and changed his finisher to a Stone Cold Stunner. WCW.
  11. I'm glad I read this thread.

  13. I'm applauding, man.
  14. As I understand, Europeans attend fewer church services than Americans. And my namesake nation has atheists as its majority, according to a missionary I know.
  15. That's great but it's a Red Sox hat.
  16. This is good for you, Mike. Now nobody can ever, ever, ever say the sources you cite are too biased to be valid.
  17. Predict my future
  18. Fried pork chop for breakfast??? Mother of God.... It was in Tennessee or Georgia, so that explains it. Of course, you're an Aussie, so that doesn't explain anything to you. I'm a firm believer in a hearty breakfast. I don't see what's wrong with a pork chop to start your day. Makes a hell of a lot more sense than ending your day with it.
  19. I'm not certain that the Egyptians did, but the Aztecs with Quetzalcoatl, definitely. The Egyptians of that time were lighter-skinned than today's Arabs, correct? I assumed they were more Meditterranean, and certainly not African. I'm not sure though, I'll have to look it up.
  20. They actually translate "Netherlands" into French from German or Dutch to get "pays-bas," or "low country." Nova Scotia is where I'm moving after I catch my wife cheating on me and need to escape from life. Then I'll keep as much of my possessions as I can and fish all day.
  21. I haven't been to a Hardee's since my band trip. We stopped at one in Kentucky. I love Kentucky, it was beautiful.
  22. We've actually started referring to Macedonia as such, rather than "The Former Yugoslav Republic Of Macedonia." This raises the ire of the Greek government, because they feel today's Macedonians don't live up to Alexander the Great's. I don't think they're even in the same place.
  23. Yeah, those were lots of fun, until everyone started accusing me of being gay and the Mo Vaughn jokes got drilled into the ground. I blame BBCW.
  24. Alias cross-promotion?
  25. Maybe next week we'll get Trent Green burning the American flag in the locker room to get ready to beat the Patriots.
