I finally saw Roger & Me
The Czech Republic replied to The Czech Republic's topic in Television & Film
I can't get over how THIN he was. I mean, he wasn't a beanpole, just slightly husky. He could fit through doors! -
Go on. Dick Morris isn't the only one who has stated he heard her discussing "Jew bastards" and the like. -=Mike Interesting. One minority down, several more to go. How many voting blocs can Hillary alienate?
-
YEAH BUT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FOUR BUT KERRY WAS SCREWED ELECTED HA MORE LIKE SELECTED IF YOU ASK ME I think Hillary shouldn't be as worried about the "Senator" label as much as the "freaking bitch" label, personally.
-
I feel old. Aren't you? Lothar of the Hill People for President
-
Good. No more Bush plz

Yeah, the "all women will support Hillary" is a bigger fucking myth than Athena being sprung from the head of Zeus. Let's look at these lists. Democrats: Hillary Clinton: So much baggage. But if she doesn't get knocked out early, they'll go with her. Evan Bayh: Everyone seems to say he's a moderate. Given the current state of the Democratic Party, they don't want anyone who will resemble a Republican in any way. He has that going against him. John Edwards: His star has extinguished. Bill Richardson: I don't know enough about him, but again, the DNC doesn't seem to embrace moderates much these days. Howard Dean: This is really who I would go with if I was running the DNC. Raises money like crazy, appeals to the youth vote (ha I know), and seems to have energy and WANT to be President. I'll take his creepy enthusiasm over Kerry's vapid disinterest. You didn't mention Barack Obama, but he's still a rookie and isn't qualified enough yet to run. Plus, let's see what he actually votes on. GOP: Rudy Giuliani: Admirable enough candidate. The only things against him are his moderate views on abortion and gay marriage. That won't win the Solid South. John McCain: Another strong choice, but John's not getting any younger. Bill Frist: This is who I would run with. He's an Ivy League-educated M.D., so you can toss the "stupid Republican" card out the window. He's from Tennessee, so he'll appeal to Southern voters. He's gotten a lot of credit for stepping up as Senate Majority Leader in Trent Lott's stead, and hasn't done much to disgrace himself in that position. He just generally seems like a respectable guy. The only baggage he might carry is that he experimented on cats from animal shelters in medical school, but he's admitted how wrong he was to do this, (and besides if he didn't, wouldn't they just have been euthanized anyway?) but this is something I hope we can look beyond. Jeb Bush: I'm Bushed out.

WWE Notes On Cena, Edge, Guerrero, Benjamin,
The Czech Republic replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
That's what I was thinking, actually. It's been 16 years --- the "most likely guy to win" should EVENTUALLY win. Hell, #1 has won repeatedly --- #30 never has. -=Mike I guess we'll have to wait at least another year for this to happen. No way they will have Orton come in at #30 and win. That will make him even less respected as a real main eventer. I think #30 can only work with a heel or a face that was either a surprise or injured.(watch Orton win from 30 with this creative team) What number was Brock Lesnar? -
Maybe this is some strange Wyoming-style mugging. Yeah I don't believe it either

What's his name? Kuhbazha Gibila Bigila or something? -
And then he should shave, cut his hair, and join Evolution. And then not ever say anything funny and just be intense, mysterious guy. Eugene, too. Or should I say "Nick Dinsmore."

Kevin Smith / Jason Mewes to appear on Degrassi
The Czech Republic replied to a topic in Television & Film
I wish I didn't leave my Degrassi High tapes at home. I want to watch the one where they get stoned and Melanie says to Kathleen: "So your boyfriend beats you up, you're anorexic, and your mom is crazy....your life SUCKS!.......I'm hungry." -
I finally saw Roger & Me

Another false cause-and-effect was the scene with Ronald Reagan taking the laid-off workers out for pizza, which happened before the layoffs. It's also worth noting that in 1989, Mikey was looking svelte! -
Um...she showed her arms

I just wanted to say "mean liberal" because it's such a funny idea. WE'RE supposed to be the heartless bastards
-
GOD YOUR ACT IS SO TIRED
-
Wait, I thought you weren't a gimmick poster
-
Try some reduced fat cookies instead. Maybe you'll become a sexy hot thumbtack. You're a mean liberal
-
I'm having so much fun.
-
Hey ThomasJ, I won't call you fat. As long as you're trying to better yourself, who cares? I jsut want to be everyone's friend tonight.

Why can't we let bygones be bygones?
-
I thought I remember her looking somewhat like that last time

I figure that as a conservative, I more than anyone need to watch Michael Moore's films. I thought this was more respectable than B4C or F9/11, but then I called my father for his opinion, and he told me the whole sequence of events, like the urban renewal in Flint, Reagan buying pizzas, and the layoffs, are completely rearranged for a false sense of cause and effect. Also, when the UAW was asking for the equivalent of what would be in 2004, $65/hr, + benefits, for assembly line work, it's no wonder they'd pack up and head south. Thoughts from other posters would be great.
