  1. I've spent a lot of time thinking over the original Cap/Bats issue...it will come later tonight.
  2. Spoil ahead. I really liked last night's episode, too
  3. I haven't watched SNL, let alone a complete one in years. I didn't think it was that bad and I actually enjoyed it. However, the skits after the second Pink performance were not that good.
  4. Very nice. I was actually thinking about Vamp/CChamber but couldn't verbalize it.
  5. and he got the pleasure of being "fired" by MICK FOLEY last week
  6. who JOHN HEIDENREICH seemingly wants to kill
  7. and he gets love from the HURRICANE in the form of the borrowed shining wizard
  8. ok, something that has always bugged me, how is the pressure 'reversed' when they roll around on the mat? isn't it the same thing?? When it gets reversed, the person who applied the Fig 4's knees are on the ground and all the weight is balanced on them.
  9. v.i.p : jungle brothers
  10. But if it ever came to the two of them throwing down, Superman all the way.
  11. and he survived cancer, just like JUSHIN LIGER
  12. My friend put me into the Figure 4 at a party and I reversed it. It only hurt after I reversed it and needed help to get seperated. That and when someone gave me a DDT were the most painful wrasslin' things that ever happened to me.
  13. Even still...it was not Bats vs. Supes. It was Bats vs. a Poison Ivy controlled Supes, and Bats was trying to snap Supes out of a neurotoxin, not take him out. There's a huge difference.
  14. Yeah, but its a victory over Poison Ivy...Superman was just a weapon of hers.
  15. Here's a new one... The Hardy Boys -> At The Gates Both feature a set of close brothers and were well liked by their respective fans. Many fans also thought that they did not have to break up as soon as they did. It then gets extended by the close friend of the band Jensen, who played with the Björler Brothers of ATG, and his two bands... Matt Hardy -> The Haunted Both have a small but vocal fan base who are really[/]into them. They have strong old school tendencies, and show strong comparisons with their more established contemporaries (Jericho, Slayer). They also have a really strong work ethic (constantly working/touring/releasing books/new material, etc.), as well as recently undoing switches (Matt going from Raw, to SD, and back to Raw; Haunted's vocalist changing from Peter to Marco and back to Peter). Jeff Hardy->Witchery Although both can be really cool when they want to, sometimes the stuff they do just doesn't work. Neither really seems like it's dedicated (Jeff always asking for time off & "retiring";Witchery's lack of new material and touring), and sometime relies more on its image than its actual skill. Their singer had a thing for makeup for a while and we all know about Jeff's body paint fetish. When they want to, both can be really really cool. And a lot of wanna be goth fat girls seem to be into them.
  16. I think it was the Chris Warren band. That's what they called them at WM XIV
  17. 'thoughts without words' : shadows fall - thanks to my random setting on my Mp3 player, its been a SF day
  18. And another... Shawn Michaels -> Danzig These guys both started out as part of a group (Rockers/Misfits) that have a cult like Internet following although the majority of mainstream fans really don't know about where they came from. After reaching stardom on their own, they never talk about their early days. Both are also known for having big egos as well. And that then means that... Marty Janetty -> Jerry Only Because both of them wound up bringing back to the group/team name that made them famous in the first place. And further... Al Snow -> Michael Graves Because both of them got a lot of negative responses for not being Michaels/Danzig, leaving their group and going it on their own.
  19. Here's a quickie I thought of while shoveling snow... The Dynamite Kid -> Chuck Schuldinger of Death Both were never truly appreciated at their peak, and both have definitely influenced their respective fields. Their current state is kind of depressing(crippled, dead to due cancer.)
  20. and MARTY JANETTY used one as his finisher, too

    Damn You Oprah!

I think it's safe to say that I won't. But if they do a cover of the Misfits' "TV Casualty" I may have to consider picking it up.
  22. 'root bound apollo' : shadows fall
  23. As for Warrior, I'd go with Green Arrow. Just give him a freaking normal bow and arrow and he could seriously destroy.
  24. I thought of Bret/Towsend, but Heavy Devy isn't accomplished as Bret and their careers didn't have as many similarities...but Bret and Rush.... I'll stop myself now so Laz doesn't kill me.
