  1. But that was the result of one career-ending injury, not long-term wear and tear. In addition, it was an injury in which the other wrestler, Bill Goldberg, was completely at fault. I would argue that he was so in the wrong that FGB owes Bret Hart a pension for what he did to Bret. Bret was suffering from multiple concussions, and that is what ended his career. Due to all the head trauma, if he didn't retire when he did, he would have suffered from serious head trauma and brain damage. His mobility problems are from the stroke.
  2. hmm...we have a loose end with both Chilli Willi and British Bulldog.... I'll double link them together... while Chili Willi may have lost the ECW Tag Title tournament and the British Bulldog lost in a WWF Tag Title Tournament, BARRY WINDHAM was a winner of a WCW Tag Title Tournament!
  3. That is a new reason why Devin Townsend is amazing.
  4. They didn't sell out when Gossow joined. Wages of Sin was a great album. Anthems of Rebellion wasn't.
  5. Yeah..Groenig had a pre-Simpsons comic strip. You can also include Spidey and the various Marvel comics cartoons. Also mention the Gi Joe comic/cartoon connection in the 1980s. THey used an imation from the cartoon to make commercials for the monthly series. First time (and propably only time I know of) that a comic book was promoted via television commericals. It worked, because they sold an insane amount of GI Joe comics at Marvel during the 80s.

  8. courtesy of www.roadrun.com/blabbermouth.net/ : ARCH ENEMY's MIKE AMOTT: 'Heavy Metal Fans Are Such Bitches' - Nov. 11, 2003 ARCH ENEMY founder/guitarist Mike Amott recently told Canada's Chart Attack that some fans take their favorite bands so seriously, they end up becoming a bigger pain in the ass than self-important journalists and their mocking questions. "Heavy metal fans are such bitches," he half-joked. "I hate our fans sometimes! They're so adamant about what they like and hate, they're the first people to nail us to the wall. Then they're the first ones to chant along to a song like 'We Will Rise' or say how much they adore us. What the hell kind of double-standard is that?" Amott grumbled about how the group's latest album, "Anthems Of Rebellion", has garnered some pretty serious critical praise, while the stringy-haired bangers in the front row gripe about the band having "sold out." "How the hell can we be 'selling out' when we're playing this sort of extreme music? Just because we put a bit of melody or dynamic here and there, people jump all over us, saying we're selling out. At the same time, they keep saying how much they love the album. Make up your minds!" ARCH ENEMY are in the middle of a U.S. tour with SLAYER and HATEBREED. A U.K. headlining trek will follow in late December. -------------------------- So what does everyone think about this?
  9. I guess they're testing crowd reactions for their upcoming feud.
  10. Maybe they are going to say that Ultimo and the Miracle Jobber Connection lost their respective title matches at house shows since they have been plugging the hell out of them as of late.
  11. I'm guessing the ratings increase is partly due to the better content the past few weeks.
  12. Six Feet Under is one of my metal guilty pleasures. Currently my guiltiest of pleasures is Duran Duran's cover album.
  13. and he got to spin the wheel and make the deal with UW's old bladerunning buddy STING

  17. These are all guesses as I might not remember small ones: HHH Hogan RVD Cena Most of the women Eddie Guerrero Chris Benoit Dean Malenko Chris Jericho Most of the Japanese wrestlers Bret Hart Hogan has a ring tatoo around one of his fingers. Eddie Guerrero recently got a tatoo of a cross around his right (i think) inner forum.
  18. I actually ran into him in my local mall...my friend and I were in line for an autograph signing with DANNY DORING for the first ECW video game
  19. Don't worry Plunderin. Maybe if your lucky you got special powers after your radioactive spider bite
  20. who's taking on TAJIRI on Sunday
  21. Agreed. At this point, Angle has nothing to prove. It's not worth him getting injured in the condition he's in now.
  22. Exactly. Kama looked like a freaking monster with his tattoos when he debuted.
  23. Tat's like his or Edge and Christian's are fine because they are not overwhelmingly large or make them look stupid.
  24. Same here. I really think that Angle came back to soon from his surgery.
  25. They should be brought in as bumbling idiots from Planet Stasiak. Yes, we've all experienced the mirth and merriment of the Tomko/Fertig thread, but let us press on. I thought the tattoo was getting to be the defining characteristics of certain WWE guys... One of Brock's trademark things is his giant back tattoo, as is Goldberg's tribal design. I say stop this ink discrimination; tattoos rule. Also, I guess this kinda rules out CM Punk ever going to the WWE, eh? Goldberg and Brock's back Tatoos are unique, and pretty much are their major tatoos. They were well done and stand out. Battista, on the other hand, has too many tatoos that just don't work. He has his freaking belly button tatood.
