  1. Like that had to be said
  2. That's a pretty good assessment of the series.
  3. Consultants are a great idea. Most television series have them just to make sure that the show makes sense from week to week. Hiring them isn't necessarily a knock against the current writers. It can only help create better programming.
  4. The reasons why Vince and Steph will never allow Heyman, Cornette, and Bischoff to help out with booking/writing of WWE shows: • Vince would never allow any of them to do so because of his ego. Hell, he spent the majority of the last ten years trying to put Bischoff out of business. They're just kept around so they can't be useful to anyone else who is trying to start/run a promotion. If this is the case, it's rightfully so since he's the only one in business today. However, he is propably paying them very well and should definitely try to find a better use for them to justify keeping them on WWE's payroll. • Steph doesn't want anything to do with them because it's quiet obvious that they obvoiusly understand the nuances of booking a wrestling promotion more than she does. Bringing them in would propably make her look foolish (or make others question her ideas, at worst), and as the head of WWE's creative team she would be looked down on, especially if any of the three came up with any ideas that actually drew. Not only would Steph look less important in the WWE machine, but she would certainly look foolish to her father because of all the ratings losses during her time in command.
  5. How's Joey Styles holding everything up?
  6. I'd say Hall/RVD have had equal opportunity for a World title reign.
  7. HHH was able to get over by looking unbeatable in his feuds with Foley. Brock needed/needs some ME'r to continually go over to be looked at as being credible/dominant. His feuds with Undertaker and Angle haven't done it.
  8. That's what I was thinking too. They totally destroyed his "big monster" credibility. He looks more like Grover than Cookie Monster now.
  9. I can agree that Hall at his peak was an overall better worker, but I personally enjoy RVD's spotty-ness.
  10. Shit I had that war going on in '87...but with mcnugget figures... LMAO...the mcnugget toys rocked.
  11. Again, the first album they did with Gossow was really good. The novelty of having a female singer got them attention, and the fact that Wages of Sin was a great album really helped make them stick out. Also, the fact that it wasn't released in America/Canada until being available worldwide for almost a year certainly added to its hype. It's just a shame that Anthems of Rebellion was just a decent album. They didn't live up to the hype from their recent pst.
  12. I know what you mean, but their is a difference. When you would go to a ECW show, the Dudleyz were their to be heels and harass the audience. They needed hat to get over. Amott bitching about his fans comes across as being kind of arrogant. He could have said the same exact thing but come across much better.
  13. That would be much beter than HHH/Foley. Austin hasn't had an official retirement match/send off and WM XX would be an appropriate time. However, I think Austin/Hogan (if at all possible) would be a bigger draw.
  14. He needs to work with Heyman more.
  15. and his brother Rick replaced him with Bill Kazmaier
  16. A sit down interview with both Bisch and Vince would be priceless ONLY if they were both being as honest as WWE would allow.
  17. Yeah, but the cost of running a TV network is very expensive. It's much easier to just release DVDs.
  18. LOL I think Lesnar still has "it". Just has to be booked right. Which is asking for a LOT right now. Agreed. In his original heel run, he was booked to be a monster. Now he's just blah.
  19. That's how the page looked when I just checked it out. I liked the last version much better.
  20. You really should...despite everyone's bitching, they are very good.
  21. and after that gimmick failed and he was accused of domestic abuse, he was saved by none other than HEADBANGER THRASHER
  22. I'll have to say alot of the hardcore/emo snobs. They are really self-centered musically. They complain about anything different. Basically they just suck.
  23. who lost those belts to the Legion of Doom after ANIMAL hit the powerslam
  24. Deano Machino retired at the 2001 Brian Pillman memorial show. He's now just road agenting.
  25. Hell, they never gave Angle one. You expect these guys (some of which are smaller than Kurt) to get one? Yeah, Angle never had a main event push..... Angle had a bunch of main event pushes. Whatcha talkin bout, Willis?
