Yeah, while I was home for Christmas, my friends rented a Wii game for us to play and Trauma Center was the game du jour. Since only one of them picked it out, the rest were skeptic, but they all came out of it saying it was the most fun they'd had playing a video game in a long time. I loved it even though I already had it on the DS. Of course, that just means there's yet another game I want to buy.

Blockbuster (it counts!) required you to add your credit card information to your account if you wanted to rent any XBox 360 game as insurance because of the easily exploitable no late fees deal. One night, two kids drove up to the store in their big truck and marched to the 360 section, where I happened to be putting games on the shelf. One of them asked me if the credit card thing was true. I said yes and explained why, since only 360 games required it at the time. I asked if they needed anything else, which they didn't. They continued to browse the 360 games and I went back to the counter. A few minutes later, they came up to me. "Um, we don't have a credit card. Will this work?" With this, they presented me with a social security card. "No, it has to be a credit card." "What about an insurance card?" "...No. It's not that kind of insurance." "Well fuck this and fuck you!" Moments later, their truck squealed out of the parking lot and into the night.

I'll have mine up after the new year. I can't get it online until I'm back at college. Incidentally, I think this is the first time I've posted anything since the morning I got my Wii. It has devoured my life. If I'm not playing it, I'm taking it to someone else's house to play it with them. Believe it or not, a friend of mine wanted to sell his (overheated) Xbox 360 and buy a Wii after playing Wii Sports once. I honestly think I've sold three or four Wiis for Nintendo. I picked up Zelda two weeks ago and I'm at the Goron Mines and loving it.

I have a Wii voucher in my hands. Now all I have to do is wait for the Circuit City to open.

If Gamestop says they're getting a shipment between Tuesday and Friday, when would you guys thinkthey're getting them? No one may say "between Tuesday and Friday".

Am I....the only person here who has now failed three times to get a Wii? I was home for Thanksgiving, so I went to our Wal*Mart Friday morning. Not only did they not have any Wiis, they hadn't had any since the 19th, and I was told they're only getting nine in between now and Christmas. And when those nine make it to the store, they'll never know until they get there. I went to Best Buy this morning and again missed a Wii by about five people. .....I will buy a used Wii for $100, though. That sounds fair.

Yeah, I was trying too hard not to type Wii Sports that I did, I guess. So me and three other friends went to the Tuscaloosa Wal-Mart around 8:30, and we were 41 and 42 in line. The word in the line was that they got 60 Wiis, and then moments later, they announced they had 30. So we split up. A friend and I go to a Wal-Mart fifeen minutes away, where we were about 23rd in line. They had 20 Wiis, which we did not find out until they started selling them one at a time. On the other side of town, our friends missed it out by one. We figure the Wal-Marts are holding back their stock for Black Friday since they the Wii got a full page ad for Wal-Mart's Friday sales flyer.

Hopefully, when Wii Sports comes out January 15, it'll be the same controller bundle that Europe got. I'm pretty sure it's a bargain over there.

And I thought I was the only person who put Blue & Gold on every super team of my imagination. Back to the drawing board...

Don't know if this is at every K-Mart, but I bought Super Monkey Ball 2 out of their clearance box for $2 (yes, two bucks) today.

He can turn on HHH, reveal that the transition from Christian to Degenerate has turned him evil, and vow to beat Cena at WrestleMania, which HHH couldn't do. Then Cena can win and the FU will be so tremendous it will revert Shawn back to the light so that Shawn can be right with God again.

True Swing Golf and Brain Age are good and cheap. So is Sonic Rush, and I kinda like it. Kirby's Canvas Curse is short, but one of the best uses of the stylus and fun. A lot of people like the Phoenix Wright games, if I could find them, I would buy them. The CastleVania games are great. I also got the first Tony Hawk game, and its faithful to the formula of old. So if you're a Tony Hawk fan, give it a try. I could go on and on. Has anyone picked up Yoshi's Island yet? I'm waiting until I finish my term paper, and it is hell.

Last night I realized that, as a student at the University of Alabama, I'll have the Alabama/Auburn game the day before the 19th. I can't decide if that's good or bad. On one hand, it's extra traffic and extra bodies, but on the other, maybe everyone will be too hungover to go out and get a Wii. Of course, I'll be hungover, too, but I have dedication.
