  1. D'Amore is one of TNA's road agents, alongside Terry Taylor. He also trained Edge, Christian, Rhyno, Trish Stratus, Sinn, Tracy Brooks, and even El Fuego himself.
  2. Noticed in your post-match summary of the eight-man that you mentioned everyone but Jason Cross...what'd you think of him in there?
  3. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if one of the Gateway guys, most obvious candidates being Sydal or Delirious, got booked. Same with Austin Aries or even Arik Cannon.
  4. This might come off as kind of random, but what does Delirious use for entrance music?
  5. MSTSKMark, PM the PRL promo to me if you're doing it; I'll throw it in with the X Cup piece.
  6. Tony Kozina fucking rules. The guy needs to come back out of the Western Canada/Washington area more often; I miss the guy.
  7. Fourth Match in the Seven Sins Series (2/3 Falls): Minions (3-0) vs. GPX (0-3) (Zack said he'd write this.) Brock Auustin and Rick Heyross continue their journey of trying to get Brock vs. Gibraltar signed for Anglemania. Special segment previewing the Super X Cup, with predictions, interviews, and Keys to Victory, hosted by Josh Matthews and special correspondant, OAOAST World X-Division Champion "The Phenomonal" AJ Flaire.
  8. I've actually seen Petey quite a few times, including a live match at IWA Mid-South in January, and outside of a motivated Juvy, he's probably the best worker in the whole thing (unless Teddy and/or Evans start building on their reps that I hear everything about, but see none of), and my second favorite worker in the D'Amore camp (Alex Shelley being numero uno). As long as Petey doesn't get too inNOVAtive with his moves (and to his credit, I'm probably giving him too much crap since the only non-sensical move he uses is the spinning neckbreaker out of the suplex position), he'll probably give a breakout performance.
  9. No offense, but you obviously haven't seen it, since the set-up is Sal hooking the arm, and lifting from there...no pumphandle involved.
  10. Whacks just announced on the CZWFans board that Teddy is working B-Boy in Allentown.
  11. I believe Cross and Rave are working as 2/4ths of the team that's jobbing to Lynn, Sabin, Dutt, and Skipper tomorrow night.
  12. Punker as a U-Haul man = gold. El Jefe cracked me up for some reason too.
  13. How "Kenny Rogers' Jackass" hasn't come up by now by name is beyond me. It's one of the few skits off of any comedy show on television that I've made sure to both have on tape and on disc, and this is coming from someone that hates Mad TV.
  14. Salvatore Rinauro's "gimmick", if you wanna call it that, is that he's more off-kelter than almost anyone alive. This is the same guy who won Wildside Rookie of the Year twice in a row, and had a love affair with his Jr. Title belt. Anyway, the reasons I've heard it's called that are... A) it's completely and totally random, and randomness = humor B) It sounds like one of those cool Japanese move names that don't make any sense.
  15. It's actually a half-nelson Michinoku Driver II.
  16. According to Bill Behrens on the NWA Wildside message board, Jimmy Rave and Jason Cross are booked to appear on the NWA-TNA Pay-Per-View show this coming Wednesday night.
  17. Good news: EMLL is airing at 3 AM.
  18. Actually, according to Figure Four Weekly, he was sent down there, and as punishment for gaining weight lately, they're making him work shirtless with the female students.
  19. The Flying Squirrel is a splash/plancha where the person doing the dive has all of his limbs flying behind him before impact, ala a flying squirrel. AJ Styles invented it, and he let Seth DeLay steal it since AJ himself stole Seth's kip-up rana.
  20. According to my Dish, Lucha only goes an hour today.
  21. ...IWA Mid-South, as PWBTS reporter Jim Hall let loose that one of the surprises for tonight's Highland show is, in fact, the OLM.
  22. Six-Way Scramble: Sly Sommers vs. Jacob Lyne vs. Mad Matt vs. Crystal vs. St. Andrew vs. Leon Rodez (If Leon beats anyone in this match, he takes their place in the Super X Cup) Match 3 In the Seven Sins Series (Elimination Rules): The Minions (2-0) vs. The GPX (0-2) Plus: St. Andrew responds to Rick Heyross's Anglemania Challenge!
  23. Mark Starr and "Jumpin'" Joey Maggs are the best tag team of all-time, bar none.
  24. Wow...freakin' classic. I haven't laughed that hard at a wrestling skit since Sal Rinauro brought Skeletor and He-Man together to sign his petition to bring back the PFL.
  25. Another thing, Barber...the reason why so many Wildside guys get TNA Xplosion spots is because Bill Behrens is the guy who books all of the indy jobbers for the show, and he of course runs Wildside.
