Two teens beat another one to near death...

Bullshit. Such a double standard. What if the jilted lover killed his ex, but she was black and he was white, or she was white and he was black? He calls her a "Nigga/Honky", and suddenly it goes from a passion-related crime to racially-motivated. The ambiguity of what you suggest is horrid. The law is colorblind. It works both ways: It shouldn't take into account your race when you are accused of a crime, nor should it take into account the race of a victim. Crime is crime, treat it that way. When you start moving into 'racial crimes', you only depend racial differences, which is what you are trying to avoid here. It's not like it's an active deterrent or anything (As I'm sure a lot of you are against the idea of the death penalty as a deterrent): Anyone crazy enough to kill because of someone's race isn't gonna chicken out at the possibility of an extra few years. And on "Recividism": We don't the law to please the public. When that happens, we get OJ Simpson. Mob rule is not justice, and thusly we should not think about adding a few years because some people might be angry at a few whiteys killing a black guy. By the by, this is one of the things I fully agree with C-Bacon on in just about all his posts so far. Amazing, eh? -
My new one is Sage Questions.

Yeah, and I really don't want him to die. With Beetle dead, there's a smart-ass vacuum that can only get worse with his death. Others I see dying: At least one of the bigger Green Lanterns, maybe Guy ( ) Shift: Metamorpho is now part of the Outsiders, plus this character has no real connection to the team anymore (With the death of Indigo), so he's pretty expendable. Guardian: Being right next to Doomsday is NOT the best place to be right now. The Atom (Ray Palmer): One last hurrah, coming back and being a hero in the fight against Doomsday and the rest of the villains. This sets up the new Atom series. I'll add more as I can think of them.

Alright, Infinite Crisis #7 Body Count Predictions: Who do you think is gonna die in the next issue? Off the top of my head the only one I'm calling is Arsenal (Roy Harper), if only because I haven't heard anything of him in the new Titans or Outsiders stuff. Any others?

Sounds like Coach Bombay is going to have to bust out all his attorney skills to get his brother out of this one...

I say change the Hardcore into the House Rules Title (Just to change it up a bit). And always duos with the tags. It's a hallmark of the SWF to have actual teams, rather than simply one person writing two people. Hopefully it'll stay that way.

Well, the huge problem in the idea that "It never reached the melting point!" is that it never needed to. Steel warps and bends long before it's melting point. Once it starts to warp, the structural integrity is shot and done for. Most of the above (The only time this and that has ever happen...) is that this is the first time true jetliners filled with fuel have rammed into super-skyscrapers. I mean, the situation is going to be almost completely unique with the amount of fuel in the jets and the buildings themselves.

A theory on the Superboy shards: In OYL, apparently there's something about Superboy starting back up again, and it made me remember a conversation during the fight at the tower between Alex and Superboy Prime: "Why can't I be transported to my Earth like them, Alex? Why can't I go home?" "I'd theorize somehow you've changed at your very core, Superboy." Since he didn't get teleported off to some other Earth, perhaps he's become part of Earth-1 inadvertently. This means when Alex splits the Earths, there would be another Superboy Prime out there on Earth Prime. Now when the machine was destroyed, the Earths collapsed again into one, and Alex was going for Earth Prime right then. So... would that mean that this new Superboy could be a new Superboy Prime?

Wow, SBP punching the timestream caused waves that retconned things in our universe! Impressive, DC. Impressive.

Well, there is a point to be said for scientists getting in a huff because they personally believe one thing, and use science to back it up. I mean, Christ, that's all we do on these boards today anyways. There is a distinctly liberal side in the scientific community, and a great deal of nay-sayers are pushed out and picked up by companies, which would likely instantly discredit them with the rest of the community. It's like a case of 'Groupthink' on a large scale on both sides, really. My biggest problem is that few people have looked at an overarching study going back a great deal of years. We can say we are getting hotter today, but there has been a decent amount of evidence to say that the Middle Ages was hotter than it was today, along with a constant heat increase for over a hundred years now. How do we not know this is a natural cycle if no one ever checks that far back?

But none of that tops hanging a Pokeball-shaped cage above the ring for two stupid anime fanboys to duke it out in front of a wrestling audience for the right to be called the 'Pokemon Master', now does it?

... Why did this not get a spot and so much unforgivable crap (Like The War at Home) get something? Click... and BE AMAZED!
-
Damn, I never thought about that. Considering Damn it, DC. Why are you making this so damn good?
-
"Was that necessary, Adam?" "Absolutely."
-
And this is where I mention that temperature has been increasing steadily for a few hundred years now.

What, magic universe altering punches don't make sense to you? I mean... punching! Come on. It doesn't get anymore straight forward than that. Oh, and Infinite Crisis #6 was awesome. More thoughts later. Ah hell. You do this, and now look what happens to my avatar. You bastard.
-
Ah. This was explained wrong to me, then. I had thought that SBP's punch had made it so he had never actually died before. I suppose that makes more... uh... 'sense'. o.0
-
Eh... I'm not sure it took away from it much, though. I mean, I thought it was still quite heartfelt.

I know Jason Todd's been back for some time, but since I haven't read Batman in quite a while an explanation for the resurrection would be highly appreciated. Wait...if it was never supposed to have happened and now it never did happen, then why does he not only remember it happening but so does everyone else? @#$^# retcons. Everyone thought he was dead. Apparently, he was comatose and in a near-death state (Yeah, I have no clue how that got past BATMAN), crawled out, and was found by Talia Al Ghul, put into a Lazarus Pit, and healed.

The whole thing is that it's making FUN of shows like that. It's supposed to be episodic and formulatic to an extent. There are shows already out there that are episodic and formulatic and not even trying to be.
-
GL wouldn't be in it because this was during Parallax, right? When Hal Jordan went crazy back in the Mid-Ninties? Oh well, we got Green Arrow. That made me happy.
-
Update: Batman beats Wolverine in the Final Four 51-49 (THANK GOD). Superman beats Magneto 65-35. So the obivous championship match has been fulfilled.

In other news, this show has been on for the last few days in the early mornings. It's actually pretty hilarious. His little apprentice wields some sort of ancient golden Japanese Hand Drill or something as a weapon.
