Strangler, you should rally to give Tom two title matches in a night. See, either he has to job to Mak or win the World Title. Tough choice, really .

Of course, you'll be defending it against Tom .

New Zogby Poll For All Of You To Disregard
Justice replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
Again, I find it odd that they list the "fair" responses in the "negative" category. As stated before, the question is different than most of the polls, so it could lead to a skew. But C'est La Vie. And just to ask: What do you think of Dean supporting Davis right now? -
New Zogby Poll For All Of You To Disregard
Justice replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
So? I just noticed that Zogby lumps in "Fair" with "Disapprove", which doesn't exactly ring true to me. I don't see how saying "Meh, he's not doing bad." counts as a negative comment. I dunno, I suppose one would have Zogby define "fair" for me to really trust that. Secondly, what in God's name would warrant a 10 point drop? -
New Zogby Poll For All Of You To Disregard
Justice replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
I disagree. None of those numbers are below 50% besides the Zogby, and most are only 5 off of it, while some are nearly 10 points off Zogby. Let's look: Zogby: 45% CNN: 52% Ipsos-Reid/Cook Political Report: 52% CBS News Poll: 55% Gallup: 59% Newsweek: 53% Also note that most of those also list the disapproval rating in the low 40s to the high 30s. Zogby is at 54%. That's just seals the deal for me. I'm not claiming Zogby is biased. I just thought the polls had an incredible difference between the two. Zogby is nearly 10 points off the nearest one as well. No, I'd just say one is deflated. 3rd: It's only a little over a week old. That doesn't automatically discredit it since the Zogby seems to be the real outlier in the set here. -

http://www.gallup.com/poll/releases/pr030905.asp Gallup says he's at 59%. I have to say the difference between the two is startling. -
Happy Birthday Thor/Logan/Mike Moran/Viktor Tarankanov. Christ, you've had a lot of gimmicks, haven't you?

Because of the story about the porn page writer. Actually, they let me into intermediate for the porn website story. It took a story about skywriting and wanton LSD abuse to get me into this one. Weren't you supposed to post that one, man?

That's a beautiful thread, by the by.

^I can't tell these kind of posters apart any more. Depp sounds like a foward thinking modern parent to me. And Depp actually said that if his kids were going to do drugs, he would rather them do it around him and let him know about it instead of them just going out and doing something stupid. I see it as the same way as I would rather give my child condoms than sit there and say "Well, you're not having sex and that's that.." Bah. I think he's just hoping he'll get a celebrity discount from the dealer;). And my uncle did the same thing with cigarettes for his kid. He knew that he'd get them from a kid who would obviously start peddling worse stuff onto him, so my uncle decided that at least with him getting the cigarettes it won't get any worse than that. I might not agree with him getting pot for his kids persay, but I agree with the logic he's using.

And that, right there, is why I want to see the guy gone. We need a Prez with a better understanding of how the military works. Emotional cries of "Bring it on!" work good for the public, but certainly our recent operations could have called for some more tact. Which recent operations really need more tact? I mean, it's not as though he's in direct control of tactical decisions in the field. Or are you talking with the current squabble with the UN?

It would certainly appear that no one noticed mine... You mean the one that was supposed to set up you and Duran? I did.

*Gets Cast booked in a feud with Xero for the rest of his career just so we can say we have that title.*

Yeah. My one big beef was that CIA/Mak cage match made it, but CIA/Mak/Renegade match (Which was much better, imo) didn't even get nominated.

France: Hamas, Islamic Jihad not terror groups
Justice replied to Spaceman Spiff's topic in Current Events
Because, the fact of the matter is there isn't any anti-black sentiment anymore! You've tried to give second-hand arguments about how there are no African Americans in high places, but we have Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell, and Condolezza Rice, plus there are black representatives and senators abound. Marney has given articles from different sources showing it. France itself has admitted it and says it needs to be combated. How about this one, from the BBC? Or Time, from about a year ago? At the top, it shows how those comments were made, and his reaction to them. The fact that he wasn't asked to step down after or that there was little outrage over it in France kinda inkeeps with the argument. It's not just our country giving to the articles. I have a BBC one up there. And so what? Your personal experience is just that: Your own. It doesn't disprove anything that is shown in those articles. -
I suppose, though just say "You can't nominate someone who is already nominated" or something like that. Cut out the redundancy. At least, with the best match of the year one I'd like to see fed members nominating matches because as I said, CC can't be expected to remember every match. But I do see your point on the individual champions and such. Edit: Or maybe PM suggestions, like a private Primary?
-
Aw damn, I think I should change my vote because I remember it differently than last year. Anyways, I think the fed members should make the initial nominations and suggestions for each category, CC sorts them out and thins out the herd and puts the ones they see best to put on the ballot. This way CC doesn't have to remember every match and every feud and character since last Genesis. The final ballot gets made up by CC, and then everyone votes.

... And that's somehow the definitive judge of political thought? Movie Discussions? No shit that there will be stupid people on the internet. IT'S THE INTERNET. THERE ARE STUPID PEOPLE ON IT. GET USED TO IT. There are stupid people in other countries as well, but just because you don't interact with them every day doesn't mean they don't exist.

Your IP resolves to a broadband company in Herndon, VA. Just pointing that out. Bwuahahaha. Okay, now I'm off to find this guy's house and reprogram him to be a 'good' American. Be back in a few... Wow, the CE folder really IS becoming uptight.
