Why? Because the color palette has too many browns. And even worse, to read road signs, you have to go up to them and click a button, at which time the contents of the sign will come up in a text box. In Oblivion, the text is rendered right on the sign! Clearly this proves the technological inferiority of Wii! (To be fair, I kind of agree with this point. It would be a bit easier if the signs were clearer and you could read them from afar. But to paint this as a strike against the Wii hardware is kind of stupid. I'm sure that Wii, as well as PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube, could very easily render a legible "road sign". And this is a hell of a petty thing to pick on.)
