  1. "And Christ, FIRE TORRIE. Kill ALL 3. OOOOH, VICTORIA. YAY." So, who all is in the Torrie Hater club now?
  2. I think Going Commando is the best in the series, although Renegade would say UYA (more action-based, less platforming). Every single one of them is excellent though, and even the first game smokes every Jak game, IMO. You can't lose with any of them, really.
  3. "HSAN" Kane's pain reactions were HasSANed? Where do Kane and Taker get their ability to control fire/lightning then?
  4. "Ratchet and Clank: UYA is not officially 'Greatest Hits' yet." It's at my Sears with the GH packaging, actually.
  5. Jak 3 (which I think sucks), Sly 2, and Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal is Greatest Hits now. Gamestop's dropped the prices on their used versions to $17.99 each. The recently-turned-GH Smackdown vs. Raw is $17.99 used at EB Games now.
  6. I'd say so. My expansion pak probably doesn't hurt it either. They should have speed up the door transitions though, because they were only really to hide loading in the first place. So it isn't just a flaky memory on my part that thinks the DC version looks lame in comparison? I wish I'd never had Ebayed off my Alpha 3 Saturn for a mere 40, especially with then asking 80+ on Ebay now.
  7. Smurfs. With Sean Connery as Papa Smurf and Paris Hilton as Smurfette. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's a live action/cgi Smurfs movie in the making...
  8. I expect Punk to debut in short back tights/knee pads/elbow pads, short cropped hair, be called by his real name, and wrestle dull WWE style matches.
  9. CM Punk's new gimmick: ...okay, Vince *wishes*.
  10. It's great that Sony has taken portable gaming out of the ghetto. With the GBA, we were stuck with sequels, retrofits, licensed games, and SNES ports as the vast majority of the software. With the PSP, we get sequels, retrofits, licensed games, and PS1 ports as the vast majority of the software. Much better. And yes, with the DS--we're getting sequels, retrofits, licensed games, and N64 ports as the vast majority of the software. Although thankfully we're getting some quality original games that use the touch screen. Who cares what Sony Computer Entertainment Europe says, thinks or does, though? That's where this is from. More Americans are supporting the PSP than the DS, the DS has a pretty firm lead over the PSP in Japan (and as the "What's Up with the PSP?" article on OPM/on 1up points out, for some reason Japanese developers aren't too keen on the PSP). and Europe I think doesn't actually have the PSP out yet.
  11. Correct. I used to have AndrewTS on GF, but when they decided to merge GS and GF accounts, it was a pain in the BUTT to do, because they automatically signed you out of the GF one, and expected you to fill out a long form to create a new merged account. Since I barely used GFs' boards, my registered e-mail was one that was long since dead and abandoned. So, rather than try to dig up the password I just signed up for a new account, and picked a similar SN. I think at the time I posted it we didn't have this thread, and I didn't think anyone else cared but ChrisMWaters, who I just IMed that to anyway. The PS1 version is fine (although the Saturn version is bar-none the best one for graphics/animation/loading speed/default controls--import only and expensive, though), but it doesn't support Fast Loading on PS2. There's a version of Alpha 3 in the works for PSP--but PSP is limited to four buttons just like the GBA version, and the GBA version had more characters than any other version (adding Maki, Eagle, and Yun to the lineup). So the PSP version is going to be really freakin' redundant and control like crap because of button limitations. I picked up the N64 Resident Evil 2, since the earlier discussion made me want to try it again. Except for the FMVs (which aren't too bad at all really), this version is on par or better than the PS1 version for the feel of the gameplay. The music and voices seem to be all there, the backgrounds look excellent, the poly models seem sharper and clearer, you have tons of battery-backed save slots to use, and...look *grinds fingernail into cart* it'll still play!
  12. ...and the furry community rejoices. Yes it was. The 90s show doesn't hold up at all, unlike say Batman: TAS. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. I saw some of 'em on Toon Disney, and the animation and dialogue seem a lot worse than I remember, but I still watch BTAS all the time on DVD.
  13. Duke Togo
  14. Just put deinly1 on Ignore. There's no point arguing with an idiot.
  15. I think most of this is all total bullshit. File this under bullshit with the "will be pushing the Cruiser division" stuff. Whether or not WWE plans to do it, it ain't friggin' happening. Those suck ass. Yeah, Matt's going to get a big push when this is over. Bullshit. Yet her shoot interview apparently mentions absolutely nothing of the sort. Bullshit.
  16. "is Zangeif still gay" In Capcom Fighting Evolution, he's in a hot tub with some babes.
  17. Maria's beating out the other backstage announcers virtually by default. She's on TV about a minute a week and manages to get a laugh out of me. No gripes whatsoever about her. Ms. GoDaddy.com--wearing too much clothing, talks way too damn much. Even so, the thought of Torrie doing most of the talking for PMS2K5 is really, really painful.
  18. Posted in the Comments thread. I didn't start a thread because it's not 100% confirmed by Sega yet. It's still more of a rumor.
  19. "Generally, "men" who complain about seeing pretty women for 5 minutes a week on raw need to get neutered( if they arent already)" Not that anyone gives a crap about what "deinly1" thinks, but I can name about 10 divas I'd rather see than Torrieberg and Ms. Godaddy.com.
  20. I live in a podunk town in SW PA. We don't have "public transportation." We don't even have a taxi service.
  21. Unlike the firings and Jericho, Hassan's still under contract. So he should be staying.
  22. The fuku laying on the bed...and what's up with that rack of lingerie just sitting out in the open? Who does that? I never knew Leona cosplay existed. Not seeing any good Shermies. I did find a site in Spanish that is obviously written by an otaku...littered with those damn "WAAAIs!" ""s and other crap.
  23. "Chris Jericho" Great, he's in still. He should definitely be in the PSP version, but probably by the time the PS2 version is out he'll be back in WWE anyway, so hope he isn't deleted. I guess the roster additions/subtractions cutoff date may be done, though.
  24. "In kayfabe, he's a member of the Raw roster." He doesn't have a contract anymore, so that's irrelevant. Hogan's hopped from Raw to SD whenever the situation warranted it.
  25. Maybe it was a bad PAL conversion. The NTSC RE2 was fine.
